👍 The Susi was delicious, however we couldn't order what we wanted due to the place running out of Tuna.. Yes you heard that correct, a Susi shop that ran out of Tuna. Disappointed by that but the Susi was delicious and definitely worth a try. People often mention sushi, delicious, great, staff, cafe, Cork, crepe, time, cakes, nice,

Best sushi in Cork. I split the Omega 3 platter with a friend. Very high quality fish for a reasonable price. For dessert, I got the Oreo crepe cake. It was tasty but quite dense so I’d recommend splitting with someone. Lastly, I was a big fan of the iced chai latte. Highly recommend all around.

Had lunch here today. Exceptionally good. Really fresh, delicious sushi. I had the dragon roll which was amazing and I highly recommend. They've a lovely selection of sweet treats also which are delicious. Today it was one of the staff members birthday and they had cake for her- and everyone there at lunch time was gifted some delicious cake which was a lovely touch. I will definitely be back in Sensei.

Great cafe quality sushi available with multiple flavour crepe cakes available. Sushi available from 12pm to 7.30pm. Friendly and nice staff. Also serves coffee and other beverages. Seating available only on outdoors. Overall great little place for cafe sushi with a reasonable to slightly expensive price

The sushi here is always unbelievable, so delicious and fresh! I love that all sushi is made to order, you just can’t beat it! Every time I visit the staff are so kind and helpful, and very knowledgeable when it comes to allergens (especially gluten free). I’m ALWAYS looking forward to my next visit ❤️

The best sushi place I’ve ever been to! Amazing selection. Staff and owners are extremely friendly. My favourites are Salmon Aburi, Spicy Tuna Dynamite and Dragon Sushi. The Brazo de Mercedes is also homemade and so delicious!

great sushi spot, only issue is they need to expand to either more locations, or an even bigger city spot! This would be a great concept in a larger premises that you could eat indoors. It has cute outdoor seating but we all know in Cork it rains non stop so I have only used the outdoor seating 1 time. I always order loads of sushi and its always really good, I cant be specific because it comes in a really large box so I am unsure which roll was which but they were all delicious! I do remember on one visit I got the crepe cake for my daughter I was surprised how light it tastes.

This cafe has truly distinguished itself as the go-to destination for sushi enthusiasts in Cork, offering an exquisite blend of deliciousness and affordability. Amidst the myriad of dining options in the city, this establishment stands out for delivering a sushi experience that not only tantalizes the taste buds but does so without imposing an exorbitant price tag. One of the most commendable aspects of this cafe is its commitment to striking a balance between quality and accessibility. The sushi here is a symphony of flavors, each bite a testament to the culinary expertise behind the scenes. What sets it apart is the delightful marriage of freshness and taste, making every piece a small indulgence. Moreover, the abundance of choices on the menu ensures that there's something for every palate. Whether you're a traditionalist who prefers classic rolls or an adventurous eater open to innovative sushi creations, the menu caters to diverse tastes. This variety extends beyond the dine-in experience, as the cafe also offers a convenient take-away option. So, whether you're looking to enjoy your sushi in the cozy ambiance of the cafe or in the comfort of your own space, the flexibility is there to suit your preference. In essence, this cafe has managed to carve a niche for itself in Cork's culinary landscape by providing a sushi experience that is not only palate-pleasing but also pocket-friendly. It's a testament to the fact that exceptional dining experiences need not come with an extravagant price tag, making it a must-visit for sushi aficionados and anyone seeking a delightful gastronomic adventure in the heart of Cork.

I tried Sensei Cafe today for the first time. I ordered the rock and roll salmon, spicy tuna maki and a Bao Bun. The delivery took longer than expected around 50 mins but I think the driver was held up in traffic, she apologised for the delay. The Bao bun was filled with chicken and it was sweet, it wasn’t my favourite. However the sushi was spot on, the spicy tuna was spicy enough, I would just say to cut the tuna smaller as some of the sushi rolls had huge tuna chunks on them. The rock and salmon was really delicious and it was huge. I paid 27 euro in total and it was definitely worth it. I think next time I will pay a visit in person.

I had really high expectations because i saw a lot of the reviews sayin that its the best sushi in Cork city. I looovvee sushi and I've had really good sushi so i thought they would've exceeded my expectations but the truth is i could barely enjoy the sushi. There's just too much rice!! My friend was so disappointed and so was i. But hey, to each their own.

I ate here with my family last week, we travelled into the city specifically because we'd heard great things and we were definitely not disappointed. I've eaten A LOT of sushi in my life and a week on , I'm still thinking about Sensei. The sushi platter was fabulous, fresh, generous and delicious. I could eat it every day! It was presented beautifully and was great quality. The crepe cakes were unreal, tasty and delicious. The staff were so friendly and talked to my daughter about making the sushi, the knives and were so kind taking time to talk to a curious 7year old. I would really recommend sensei. 100% worth the journey. Go and eat here if you love beautiful, fresh food. (Oh, and the coffee is great too!)

The best sushi in Cork! So fresh and lots of flavours to try. And so many delicious desserts, especially the crepe cakes (try the taro one!!). Excellent service too, super friendly people. Highly recommended.

Beautiful food, beautifully presented! Prepared on the spot. Takeaway or eat outside under a canopy. I had Chirasi Sushi Bowl ( very like Poke). My friend had Salmon Sushi. Great coffee too. Friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit.. a hidden gem

Small spot with outdoor (covered) seating for coffee and alternate drinks like matcha latte. Sushi is passable mid-grade sashimi but value could be better with slightly bigger portions. Bao buns and other treats are offered too.

A little gem, serving coffee and great tasting, good value sushi and snacks. Had Filipino pastries which were lovely so we had to carry on and get takeaway sushi. Really nice. They specialise in Filipino dishes on the weekend. Nearly forgot to mention, lovely staff 😁

A nice selection of different food, crepe cakes, sushi and cakes. I wish they had a menu where I could look from, and there was some items on their Instagram feed that isn't in the cafe so wasn't sure what was on offer. Kind of more on the pricey side but it's important to support local and small business. There is some seating outside cannot fault it at all. Staff seem pleasant. I would go back again for a snack with a friend.

This is a really nice little place with excellent food. It offers a broad menu with lots of options. We tried two different sushi rolls and the bao buns and everything was delicious! The staff and owners are also exceptionally kind and friendly. Can't wait to go back, and I highly recommend visiting!
