We didn’t stay long for drinks but we loved the vibe of the place. Waited a bit long to get served our second drinks but other than that, I’m happy with Laurel’s. Based on what I’m reading here, overall, the food seems good and it smelled delicious when we were there. Overall, I think The Laurel’s Pub a good pub and I’ll likely drink here again.

Goat cheese was really delicious but somehow the portion was a bit funny. Only 1 beetroot and red onion. The main dishes were amazing. The Irish stew tasted a bit like sheep butt but I guess that’s what it’s supposed to taste. My hake was amazing - especially the creamy dreamy sauce. The staff was nice but they had too much to do so my starter came before we had our drinks.

The place is cozy and warmth. Lots of tourists but place is big enough to everyone. Big telly to watch sports... After a few days in Killarney I'd say this was our least favourite meal. Wasn't bad but nothing special and my onion rings were greasy. A bit pricy but still a good place to go and have fun.

The atmosphere was electrical. So upbeat and surprisingly packed for a Monday night. The food was delicious. However they were a bit understaffed. Our waitress was spread thin and therefore didn't give is drink refills and it took some time to get asked if we wanted dessert and to get our check.

The food here was amazing! Highly recommend the seafood chowder (some of the best I’ve ever had), and the shank of lamb.

My tour group chose the Laurels for lunch and we were happily surprised with the wide variety of choices. Portions were quite substantial and the food was excellent. Would definitely go back there again.

Cozy Irish pub/restaurant in the heart of Killarney town. Stopped in for lunch and it hit the spot. Great pours of Irish stout, and really tasty food. I got the soup of the day with some chips and was impressed. The service was very nice. Rugby on the tv. There was a huge back area too where it seemed the locals were hanging out and watching the game. Your typical Irish pub environment, but I’d say this is a great pick for an Irish dining experience in Killarney. *Kid friendly and they do have a kid menu!

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. It was a busy night, we were lucky enough to get a table next to the fireplace after 30 minutes. Had a few Guinness, not the best but also not the worst. The pizza was phenomenal, I highly recommend giving that a shot 🍕

Potato cakes were delicious! Same with the lamb stew and the monkfish curry. Quick and friendly service even on a busy night.

We visited the Laurels last Saturday, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very good but the service was outstanding. We were seated and drinks order taken immediately, food order taken as soon as drinks delivered. We ordered the burger and the braised ribs both were amazing. Would definitely revisit if we returned to Killarney.

My husband and I went in for an early supper. We were greeted and treated life family. I cannot speak highly enough about everything The Laurels has to offer. Just a wonderful experience.

This is actually my second time in here. I stopped in yesterday night and they were extremely busy. I got the seafood chowder for a starter and ordered the lamb shanks for a main, but due to confusion with the staff and kitchen because of a sudden rush of people, I never received the lamb. Totally okay, I understood the mistake and had no problem with it as the seafood chowder was actually more filling than I thought it would be on its own. But I told myself I would come back for the lamb shank. Well I'm really glad I came back tonight and had the lamb because it was amazing and worth the second visit to try out! Fall off the bone tender, with a great gravy and good sides of veggies and mashed potato. This place has a very authentic, lively feel and friendly staff. I'm glad I came back to try it again!

We had a large reservation for a party of 24 at The Laurels pub and had an amazing experience. They arranged for all of us to sit together at a spacious table and had everything prepared flawlessly upon our arrival. The staff at The Laurels were truly outstanding, with everyone being remarkably quick and attentive to our needs. Despite the large group, everything flowed seamlessly, leaving all of us very pleased. The food was absolutely delicious, arriving promptly for each member of our party. Our evening was a wonderful blend of great food, impeccable service, and a cozy atmosphere. I can't recommend this pub enough – it's truly a gem. Cheers to The Laurels!

What a pleasant pub/restaurant. We were visiting Killarney and walked into this place on a whim. Even though it was packed, we were seated immediately. Sean and Noeleen catered to our needs without delay. My wife had the fish n chips and it was delicious, with the coating being just right. The cole slaw was a pleasant surprise. I had the lamb stew and it was also cooked to perfection. The wine and beer menus could not be any better. Highly recommend this place.

Had the Fish and Chips and it was fantastic. Nice hardy fish, great batter and large, moist. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Overall great spot for dinner & drinks. I had the mini potato cakes starter (a first for this American traveler) and they were phenomenal! The burger was underwhelming, though. Great service

We went to The Laurels last Friday for a bite to eat before the Rally started in Killarney. They were very busy as you could imagine but the service was first class. The food was fantastic the potato cakes were so tasty and my fish and chips the same. A very good experience and i would expect we'll be back the next time we are in Killarney hopefully not too long.......

Great spot to grab some drinks and dinner while enjoying a conversation with friends or watch a game! Came here on a rainy day and the inside was packed but there was enough room. Everything was delicious and the waitstaff was very nice. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something to eat or want to grab a pint.

We went to the Laurels for dinner and we were underwhelmed. Maybe the staff was new but the service was slow but friendly. We had the chicken fajita with veggies and the hake. Both meals were middling in terms of flavor and quality. This is not a bad place at all, however I'll try a few others before I come back. The atmophere was quiet so you can easily have a conversation.
