Countryside surprise ! Excellent savoury food in a warm and cosy atmosphere. People making you feel like at home with nice welcoming crackling fires in the pub as well as the restaurant. Smiling traditional Irish proprietor with a good sense of humour. Look at the photos and judge by yourself, there is no doubt you will like the place and enjoy the delicious food being served. Worth the detour !🤩

This is going to be my favourite restaurant forever 😋 🙂I was there twice recently with two different groups of people. It was just great .Everyone loved everything about The Finders Inn. Fantastic choice of delicious, well priced food .Served by extremely friendly efficient staff.I honestly can't praise it enough.Its so hard to find a really nice restaurant these days and great chefs but it's all here .Well done and can't wait to go back .

Great restaurant, lovely staff and unbelievable good food. Small and cozy place with a beautiful atmosphere and overall was a surprise and amazing experience. Loved the Seafood Chowder, steak and fish and chips! Excellent quality and highly recommended!

Superb Sunday late lunch at Finders - food is outstanding, venue is so full of character and lovely warm and cosy atmosphere. We had hake, chicken salad, mussels and monkfish scampi - all were cooked perfectly, full of flavour, great presentation. There's obviously a lot of care put into the cooking and serving of all dishes and the ingredients are top quality. Desserts were also superb and big portions! Add to that the beautiful old world interior and the fact there's plenty of space without it losing its cosy feel, and you won't find a better gastropub/restaurant around - at least up there with the nearby Overdraught (spoiled for choice in these parts).

Just walked in to request 2 beers to take away after a long shift, and was asked to leave without reason. The owner is a joke he bans people for no apparent reason. Clearly he’s having yet another bad day, it’s just a joke the number of locals he’s “banned”. This proprietor doesn’t deserve any custom whatsoever- he’s the biggest laugh in the region. I wouldn’t recommend him to serve water to the local feral cats.

Very cosy restaurant! The food was very delicious, excellent quality, but a bit pricey. I would highly recommend the black sole and mussels 👍

We, as a family, have been going here for years as my parents really loved it. It used to be great, nothing was too much trouble. We booked it for my mums 80th birthday, about 24 of us. One of us is Vegan. Ok so we know it’s a fish/steak restaurant but what do we do?, leave one member of the family out. No you bring them and hope that the restaurant (which is supposed to have great chefs) make an effort to offer a good Vegan meal up to the standards expected of such a ‘fine’ restaurant. However, the dish was unimaginative, uninspired, uninteresting and it didn’t taste great either. No vegan starter or dessert on offer. How hard can it be? Some of the family went back a year later. They were not impressed. The standards have dropped here a lot unfortunately, the steaks were small, the mussels were not great, the place is dusty and the attitude towards anyone with alternative tastes is woeful. We won’t be going back. It’s a shame.

Fantastic experience! Superb food, fantastic team, very friendly and attentive. Good portions and priced well for the quality of food. I would highly recommend the seafood cassoulet, the oysters were amazing and the liver pâté is exquisite. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu. Thanks guys! 😋
