Awesome place to grab a bite to eat and have a nice drink or three in downtown Cork. I had the fish and chips and the wife had the lamb stew...they were both perfect. Service was first rate and I'd highly recommend heading to the bar for a talk with the experts on a food whiskey choice! You cant miss this stop on your journey through Cork!

Brilliant night. Dropped in for a few beers and were surprised by a cracking good band (True Sons Duo) and a great atmosphere overall. Didn’t get food but what we saw looked pretty impressive. Will definitely head back if I’m the area again.

I had the Irish stew. It was delicious and I would pick it again. Service was good and the the meals my group had were really good also. Atmosphere was nice, low key since it was late afternoon.

This place has good Irish music and tons of drink choices. Many cork residents recommended this pub. It's nicely decorated and has lots of space.

Very quick and efficient service. 🏆 We ordered our bacon cheese burgers and less than 10’ my partner and I were served. The fast service didn’t put the quality of the food in risk: the burgers were fresh, juicy and very tasty. 🍔 The parmesan chips were also speechless and delicious. 🍟 We will definitely come back for more very soon! 😋

Beautiful place! The drinks and food were great. It's sad that they stop serving drinks to the table post 8 PM and you've to head to an overcrowded bar and await your turn. But nonetheless, I enjoyed!

An excellent pub with extremely fast food service. We ordered the half chicken dinner and it was cooked to perfection. First experience there and very impressed. Greetings from a Canadian who loves Ireland 🇮🇪 and will be back again for sure. God bless Ireland & the Irish people.

Nice staff and atmosphere. They had live music when we went there. The food was edible, but not too good. I had fish and chips and the only tasty thing were the fries. Fish was greasy and tasteless, served on a pea & mint puree that was not for my taste. The salad had weird taste too, sweet. The others in the group didn't like the food too. The rating is really for the atmosphere and staff.

We were recommended to visit The Oliver Plunkett, and glad we did. The service was wonderful, our server was welcoming, and the fare was phenomenal …from the fresh squid to the flavorful Lamb Hot Pot! Their vast pint selections are amazing!

Great place for a drink or food and highly recommend. it was crowded as it was a Saturday night, but the hostess Maria could not have been more welcoming or kind. She got us a table relatively quick, the food was amazing, and the ambience was great. There was live music. My only complaint was at the bar was slammed, but I suppose that goes with the territory on Saturday night. Highly recommend and would go back.

Perfect walking distance from Imperial Hotel to The Oliver Plunkett Pub. Was expecting to hear Irish music, but they were playing 80s American music...Journey, Michael Jackson, Abba...lol, we're from Florida. Ordered a Guiness, a cider and "chicken wings. I don't think the chicken wings were chicken, more like hen wings, tiny, and they came in a small bowl. Thought that was truly funny! Also...coors light coasters and budweiser etched into the table! Too funny.

We’ve stopped at the Oliver Plunkett this afternoon for food.. the food was excellent and big portions were provided. The waitress was really nice and looked after us, her name is Seireann I guess. I’d definitely visit again.

Visited for lunch on a Saturday, the venue was very busy considering it was just after Christmas. I had the vegetable soup as a starter which was lovely. For the main I had the lamb hot pot, which was one of the nicest meals I have had in a long time. Very hearty and filling. Staff were attentive and pleasant. Price was reasonable also. Would highly recommend and will definitely be calling again.

We popped in for lunch on a Friday afternoon and weren't disappointed. Fancy food for a pub and really tasty. Table service with friendly attentive staff and a lovely atmosphere, worth a visit.

Great music and service. I went twice, my food the first time was better than my second time. I would still go again; I just would be more selective about my food choices.

There are two areas, downstairs for normal dinner/ar, and upstairs for dinner/bar and live music on certain days. The entry fee for the live music is €5,- which is totally reasonable. They guys behind the bar are lovely and serve great cocktails, we felt it the next day.

Great place to have lunch. The steak sandwich was delicious, it was amazing. The mocktail strawberry daiquiri was really enjoyable and if you're looking for non alcoholic drinks. The crab roll was very tasty but I think the price is a little bit high. Staff were nice and helpful. Overall I would definitely recommend this place. On a revisit, still great food and non alcoholic drinks. Staff were very nice and the food was quick to arrive.

Live music was euphonic. We liked it. And it is great that they have fireplace burning, it was lovely to sit nearby. Each cocktail is costing 12.5€ and i think it is little expensive that’s why i am giving 4. Pint bud is 5.8€. Atmosphere was great.

👍 Crazy good prices on food and beverages. You sacrifice attentive service, but everyone I talked to there was pleasant and helpful. The food was good and there were actually a number of beers that I have not seen elsewhere in the Cork area. I would not say this is a must do if visiting from abroad, b...
