This is a hidden gem in Cork. Not suited to fussy or loud people. This is a honest, simple bar with no nonsense. Find somewhere else for your unpronounceable craft beers, saccharin cocktails. This is a real pub. This really is my secret—so go away.

Friendly staff. Friendly crowd. Great whiskey selection. Great Bemish. A real traditional Irish pub. You could be in any village or town in Cork when you step in there.

A country pub smack in the middle of the city - was disappointed with zero Guinness taps but my god the Murphy's in there is the best you'll ever have! Great little find!👏🏻

Best pint of stout to be had anywhere. I always love coming back here when I visit Cork. Lived in Cork for 3 years. This pub is like time travelling 50 years. The Beamish is perfect everytime. The staff are sound, the atmosphere is chilled, the prices very fair. Great for a pint and chat with mates. Don't ever change

A great little pub that's in something of a time warp. Original decor, no TV and no loud music. There's a fridge behind the bar with a selection of craft beers. Lots of character and a great spot for a sociable pint. The toilets are also in a time warp tho!

For generations Callanan's has been a quality authentic bar hidden away in the heart of the city. It has something for everyone, somehow happily mixing older locals with a younger modern crowd. It's a decent bar for everyone. There's also a traditional Cork 'Rings' board, but it may but be available on weekends when it's busy.

Good for a few pints of creamy Beamish or a bottle of local craft beer. Rob and Reg behind the bar are both sound. The background music is always good too. The toilets could be moderised though.

Incredible Beamish! If you get a pint of something else you should be tarred and feathered, and in stocks on the grand parade!

Absolutely disgusting place, horrible service, rude staff, definitely wouldn't recommend going to.

Lovely traditional old pub. Fantastic pints and probably the cheapest Murphy's in town centre.

👍👍 Awesome place to grab a bite to eat and have a nice drink or three in downtown Cork. I had the fish and chips and the wife had the lamb stew...they were both perfect. Service was first rate and I'd highly recommend heading to the bar for a talk with the experts on a food whiskey choice! You cant...

👍 Crazy good prices on food and beverages. You sacrifice attentive service, but everyone I talked to there was pleasant and helpful. The food was good and there were actually a number of beers that I have not seen elsewhere in the Cork area. I would not say this is a must do if visiting from abroad, b...
