The Corner House is one of the best pubs that I have come across recently in Cork. I visited it by chance and was blow away by how unique and authentic the bar is! The walls are covered with pictures and memorabilia from Irish history and times gone by for the owners and locals who frequent this pub! The bar staff are very friendly and attentive and will make sure you get your desired drink promptly! They do a lovely pint of Guinness and they have a wide selection of beers, ciders and wines! Its is a great pub whether you’re looking for a quiet place to have a pint by the fire, or on another night you are looking for a spot with fantastic live music by excellent musicians! This is a must visit if you are in cork for a night!

Hands down the best pub in Cork. Whether you’re settling in for a quiet crossword and a pint by the fire, or doing a spot of toe tapping/thigh slapping along to the daily live music, the atmosphere is always electric, bar staff always friendly and the Murphys always creamy.

I wanted to stay! We were out exploring Cork on a warm summer Friday night when we heard music coming from Corner House and had to stop in. I was really enjoying the band, which was "country" but I could pick up feelings of Grateful Dead, John Hiatt and others. The seating in front of the stage was filled with friendly music lovers who would welcome strangers to join them. There's a lot going on with the decor to keep your eyes and mind occupied. I hated to leave, but we had a lot more to squeeze in before bedtime.

Dropped in for one quick pint when I arrived in Cork, just because they're listed as a stockist of 9whitedeer gluten free beer. Place was quiet on Saturday afternoon but the bar man was friendly and the bar had a good ambience. I'll definitely return some night.

great ambience very lively, and with some long tale of history attached, if you are looking for an authentic irish bar then this is it! plus a great live music pack, the crowd was great , a great goto place if you wish to relax and rhyme on irish music on any day of the week with some great irish beer and irish coffee.

Enthralling traditional music. Chat with locals and traveler's alike. Cheep high-quality drinks. What more could you want?

Wonderful local musicians, great crowd and a fine selection of beer and spirits. The staff was attentive and friendly. Nothing but good things to say about our experience at the Corner House!

Very disappointed, was offended & will not return. Started off well, first drink was grand with good service & nice music. We were a group of 8 that came in after work to enjoy the atmosphere, but we were clearly not welcome and an older gent at the bar made that very clear when we were looking to order again mentioning this wasn't the place for us & we were too loud. We were just chatting at the center of the room as there was no place to sit, nothing excessive. Again, it was disappointing as it started off well.

Absolutely fantastic pub. Brilliant atmosphere and the best bar staff. Also, probably the best live music venue in Cork.

I had forgotten the joys of the corner house in city centre cork I visited on Saturday night last and was reminded of the lovely atmosphere photos art work and great run pub I will be back soon

Lovely warm cosy pub. Great atmosphere and fantastic pints. The barman on the night was very friendly and efficient.

A roomy and calm pub with mostly locals. Very friendly and quick service. Fair prices. Live music on many nights. Not a place for wild parties or slamming shots. They pour the best pint of Beamish that I’ve had in Cork.

Super Menu fantastic staff very helpful. Takings the time to ensure everything was correct. A five star meal at what is a good price this include beers. I had the house pie it was out of this world

Great bar. Sometimes has trad. Great proper bar. Love theres no artificial atmosphere from tvs or music. The buzz comes from the atmosphere of pub. Staff lovely too

Went for the live music at 6pm. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The clientele is a mix of all ages, which is great. The band...@Darkandlively were brilliant. Really enjoyed it. I will be back.

Lovely White Deer and Cotton ball brewery beers, great atmosphere! Met the very friendly owner yesterday. A very interesting/interested bloke. Today we couldn’t resist another beer in this bar. Definitely will be back next time we’re in Ireland!
