Lovely bar and beer garden. Pity about the less than delightful bar man/manager/owner who couldn't have been less enthusiastic if he'd tried. One of our party didn't want an alcoholic drink and when we asked for a coffee, we got an angry bark of "We don't do coffee". Gorgeous bar and beer garden. Terrible staff/ownership. Extra star for the beer garden. No stars for the rude, ignorant man who served us.

A very quiet, spacious pub, with an outdoor terrace where you can even chat with local people. very kind attention. Something to eat with the beers would have been nice.

Arrived for a few pints after work, in work clothes, nothing was said initially, but after 3 pints , we were informed that it was local only, and neat dress, 👍 should've told me that before I handed over€7 a drink, we'll never darken those doors again, happy to take pensioners penneys, but not hard workers hard earned money,, 😀 😉 👍 😊

Was in this bar yesterday before westlife concert and would like to commend the owners and staff, what a fantastically run pub, we were in there and the heat that was there, they actually controlled the crowd, it was not packed at any stage as there was someone on the door at all times in order to allow so many to come in when others left, there was no pushing and shoving, everyone was comfortable no problem getting to bar, toilets etc, staff which made a huge difference to anyone in the pub, so I would just like to say well done to you, other pubs would allow anyone in just to make money regardless of customer safety so just want to say thank you

That's a shame, this pub is not serving food, before you had pizza... But not very typical and especially when you just want a bite without having in the city. The place is big and cold, not really the place you want to go with friends or family. The neighbourhood is great and it could be the place to eat a see food chowder and drink a chieftain in Ballintemple. Too bad

Fabulous bright clean well run neighbourhood pub. Great TVs for sports. Lovely beer garden. Novicento pizzas available. Beautiful pints and selection of craft beers. Friendly staff and management with a sense of humour. Love the decorations!

One of my favourite bars ever It's such a great spot suits all ages young and old. Fabulous atmosphere

Very rude, finished work, in work clothes obviously 🙄 , no problem getting the first 3 pints, but bear stress essential after that, found it very disrespectful, will never darken their doors again, not the way to run a business, will happily take pensioners spared allowance, but a working man is not good enough to drink here 😀 not me anyway

Didn't eat only had a drink. Very surprising experience as from the outside the place didn't look that promising, however once inside it was a light and very welcoming pub. Totally recommended 👍

We came here for the carvery roast on Sunday. Satisfying feed with 4 choices of roasts to choose from.

Didn't have food here, had a drink here before Rod Stewart concert. Lovely bar friendly staff and customers

1 start because we ask 1 TV to watch UFC to the staff and happily was set on the garden with my wife while others TV with golf. Owner or lady in charge decided to moved us to the back of the pub because SHE THINKS that is too violent and other people don't want to watch that while other people around where watching as well. Pub clearly addressed for older people. Bad service from the lady in charge or owner if it's the case. Good service at the bar, food was expensive compared to other pubs where the pizza is the same. Never again there.

Lovely pub. Very lively before Cork/Tipp game. Good banter in the pub. Staff very friendly. Nice pizza there too 👌. Did forget garlic bread but misheard me for garlic dip so forgiven😉

Unsure about food. It was the nearest pub to us. We had a couple of drinks after the limerick kilkenny match

Extremely well run. Staff brillant. Was at Westlife concert and given the amount of people the placecwas spotless. Lovely pizza and all very friendly.

But I will say 1 things the staff were very good & friendly especially one women from the moment we walked I'm a wheelchair user & they have it locked there's a security man near the toilet just keeping things afloat with the long line of women standing in a cue up the stairs & he has the key for the ♿ toilet & its spotless I've never seen one as clean in a pub yet!! I had a very good time here.The staff are kind and nice. The pizza I ordered was also delicious. It's always clean and spacious inside.

Stopped off on my way to pairc ui caoimh for few pints, great atmosphere here.

Nice place to hang out.. I went on the wrong day maybe.. it was the Ed Shereen Concert and this plc was crowded like hell. Bt good place

It is a really nice bar. Staff are very friendly and also in one corner there is a onsite pizzeria. Everyone should give it a visit

Very attractive location. For some reason a large number of buildings in or near the village are painted black or very dark brown or dark purple. Beers on tap include: Guinness, Heineken, Carlsberg, Budweiser, Murphy’s as well as some craft beers such as Rebel Red, Chieftain, Blue Moon, Kinsale Pale Ale. They have a a popular beer garden which can accommodate more than a hundred customers.

By far the best place to get a pint of beamish with their impressive water cooled system for their taps I wouldn't get a pint of stout anywhere else! Friendly bar staff too.
