Fantastic venue. Staff are extremely welcoming, friendly and so nice to deal with. I feel people working in hospitality lately especially around Cork City have become so rude in quite a few places. Definitely not the case here. The staff alone would make you want to return! Their beers are amazing I love the tasters but the food is divine. Only a few options but everything is so tasty. Try the meat lovers calzone. Very relaxing and laid back atmosphere until there's a final and that all changes! All different sports available to watch on the many well placed screens. I love the booths it allows you to book in advance for a big group.

Great beer, but the food wasn’t up to standard. Had some nachos which where 75% tiny bits off nacho, which where covered in such a wet sauce that half the dish became a pile off mush. Told the waiter who’s only response was ‘I thinks it’s nice’

Lively place, serving a good range of beers, and including great food, with the likes of pizza and nachos. Would definitely revisit.

Spent a couple of hours there. Excellent selection of beers. Larges premises. Good crowd. Music not too overwhelming. Option to get a pizza if you want to. Close to the city center. Recommended.

Strange mish mash of a bar. Was here on a Friday and there were screens everywhere showing sport that nobody seemed to be paying attention. They were more distracting than anything. Good range of beers. Pizza was disappointing though

Very nice place, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff was very kind. I found some of the finest beers in the whole city, and they have a large variety of styles as well. If you're into something a bit spicy I recommend their nachos and meat! (On their website you can also make reservations)

Great beer and food options. You can create your own pizza flavour with 3 toppings. The beer is amazing, and so is the staff. A bit pricey, but great experience overall.

Nice atmosphere, decent beers, okay beers, great service, and so many televisions showing sports.

First time ever inside the bar and is a lovely spot. Loads of TV's so easy to see a game if one is on. Food smelled great so will have to go back to try it!

Had a trip around Ireland, last stop Cork and I was told to visit the Rising Son: IPA was okay but nothing special for me, had Caesars Salad which was definitely not fresh, like a clump of something green, asked for some vinegar, they don't have any (?), nobody asked if food was ok, never will come back

Good beers, put a very poor food experience. 2 of our meals were incorrect in some way as the barman had input them wrong in to the till and then we had to wait 15 minutes to eat once the food arrived as all of the cutlery was in the dishwasher. It was our intention to stay the night, but left soon after we finished eating out of frustration.

What a very warm and pleasant place where to hang out! Price is so expensive for this pizza cheese! (16€) It’s better to have a drink than eat here. Have a good moment!

We had a wonderful time here! We were a small group and we went here for drinks. This is a locally-owned pub and the service was outstanding. You can try lots of different kinds of beers here, with a variety of options on tap. They also have seasonal beers which get updated from time to time. The staff here know a lot about their products. They are happy to make recommendations and take the time to ask about what kinds of beer you like before making a suggestion. When we were here we got the feeling that the staff liked their jobs and enjoyed working here. That was reflected in the service and attitude towards the customers. Overall, it was a terrific experience. If I'm ever back in Cork again, I'd make a point to here again at least once. Really enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

Met some friends here on a Wednesday evening, neither of us had been before. Great spot. Lovely beers. Barman even dished out a few samples before we ordered. Priced well too. Was a match on the big screen also so for games itd be a great spot no doubt. Highly recommend.

Great variety of beer with a solid taste and uniqueness. Also has food available for ordering that's good and hits the spot perfectly

Was there last year. Was really excited to try the beers and food but the customer service was horrendous. They also put the music up really loud so you can only speak to the person either side of you. Shame as otherwise it looks like an interesting spot.

Own brews on tap as well as a few guest beers and macro brews from Heineken. Beers from the brewery are good.

Was in Cork only for a day and a half and came upon this brewery. It is centrally located right in the city center and was the perfect spot to have an Irish beer. My boyfriend had the refreshing Island Edge stout and I had the Rising Sons Redemption Red Ale. Both were great!! The place is clean, smells delicious (of pizza baking) and the staff is super friendly (of course, this is Ireland after all). Definitely worth the brief stop.

Great place for a meal or just to hang out, have a pint and watch one of the matches. Full bar with many beers on tap, great bartender and food was excellent. Lots of good pizzas sandwiches and salads. They had a patio area as well on the street side and even some great classic rock and roll playing overhead. I would highly recommend if you are in the area.

Big Cork brewpub. Large bar room with view of working brewery and pizza bar. Brewery trips and a great range of their own and other eclectic beers. More central and a bit more lively than other brewpubs in the area, with large screens for sport.

Nice brewery with very friendly staff. Meals are great and their own beers are fantastic.

Really good beer, the best I've had in Cork. The red was a particular favourite, but obviously tastes vary, and they cater for this with 9 ales brewed in house. Lager through to stout and everything in between. Large screen showing sports in the back and you can also order pizza here. Nice place.

Great bar food at good price and nice selection of beers. Very friendly and creative staff. I have been told that it was one of the staff that came up with the idea to have a dog day at the pub. Way to go! Outside sitting area faces a lively street. Place recommended by the locals and they were right to bring us there!

Highly recommended place to visit in Cork. Their beers are really good and the pizzas are absolutely epic. I could not do a visit to Cork without a return visit to this place. Great staff, great beers and great food. This place ticks all the boxes.

Unbelievable customer service. Their drinks are amazing and it's awesome that you can see the brewery behind the bar as they're brewing. As somebody who has tasted every pizza in Cork, this is by far the best pizza you will get, will be back again 10/10

Fabulous place to grab beer and something to eat! I had a beer and a salad, both of which were pretty good. As a bonus, they were also showing the ICC World T20 cricket tournament on the TV. They have many screens. Overall great food, atmosphere, and service.

👍👍 Awesome place to grab a bite to eat and have a nice drink or three in downtown Cork. I had the fish and chips and the wife had the lamb stew...they were both perfect. Service was first rate and I'd highly recommend heading to the bar for a talk with the experts on a food whiskey choice! You cant...

👍 Crazy good prices on food and beverages. You sacrifice attentive service, but everyone I talked to there was pleasant and helpful. The food was good and there were actually a number of beers that I have not seen elsewhere in the Cork area. I would not say this is a must do if visiting from abroad, b...
