Last night myself (male) and my partner (male) exited the bathroom and started being affectionate. Next thing, I was grabbed by one of the members of security and kicked out for being “too drunk”. I had not had an amount of drink that would warrant me being kicked out. This is not the first time I’ve heard this happen. The bouncer was short, bald and had a face only a mother could love. The security staff in this establishment are disgusting and highly discriminatory.

Your security staff's behavior was disgusting, disrespectful, and inexcusable. A number of the staff physically handled my brother and boyfriend lifting them from the ground and engaging in aggressive pushing, shoving, and rough handling. Their actions can only be described as an absolute disgrace. Two of the female security staff aggressively squared up to me and shouted in my face. I told them I was appalled at what I just saw and they continued to shout at me. I was scared. The level of intimidation I experienced was utterly unacceptable. Such behavior should never be tolerated. It is disheartening that your security staff chose to resort to excessive force and aggression on a special occasion for us. I urge you to take this complaint seriously.

Very good late night bar. Suitable for older customers. They have live music most nights. Very good smoking area. It's got a good atmosphere. I would definitely recommend if you like a late drink.

Bouncers need to change. The bouncer told me and my friend that we could not go in, we wondered why and asked if it’s busy, being friendly, he said no and he just told us that we just can’t go in . While letting everyone else in . Another security guard was confused to why he wouldn’t like us inside and he just came up with an excuse . That we are too drunk .We were just starting our night sober and decided to go visit our friend inside waiting for us. I assume it was racism as me and the friend I was with are not white, They didn’t look at our white friends twice but looked at us cuz of our race I presume . I will no longer be able to see my musician friends that play here . And I will let them know about this problem in Crane lane .

Great pub in the city center. They have a great bar and lounge as well as a late bar with Djs and bands. There is a large heated area in the. Entrance lane for smokers. Staff are friendly service is fast. They have plenty of good bands on and it's a good venue for gigs. Definitely well worth a visit if you like a lively night out.

Best live music ever and great people. Had a blast, but very crowded because it was the only Pub open after 12pm. The bar tenders are very capable. If you visit Cork you have to visit Crane Lane at least one night!

Free music dance floor is the good part. Check their website they update the days and time of the DJ who is playing, you can have fun there. Drink and dance.

Great place for a pint. Can get really busy late on but that’s expected. The bar is lovely for a quiet one and there’s plenty of choice. Kinda place that would suit everyone in a group.

If you're a women expect to be passed over at the bar. Have been in numerous times and both me and my female friends have been outright ignored and left standing there for a while. Sorry we're not "cool" enough for ye. Happened twice in one night and its beyond frustrating. And it's not just me, most woman I've spoken to while waiting at the bar says the same. Pity as my friend group love the music and the vibe but going to the bar is a trial.

Such a viby place!! Cocktails upstairs are unreal and the whole place is so nicely decorated! Even going to bathroom may take you ages, due to the antique decorations in the bathroom stalls! Drinks are on the pricy side however, it's nice to go in and treat yourself!

Always have fun here, the service and music are lively and it's never dull! If you're looking for a nice night out with a date or friends, go here!

Cool bar with excellent music. Young crowd when we went before Christmas with good vibes. Large center stage area with mostly standing room. Seats are limited. Go through the restaurant when the Lane gets impassable.

Been many times. Mixture of ages, very cosmopolitan and an inclusive space. Regular live music and separate section with dj. During Cork Pride, many acts and no cover charges. To be admired as the only so called gay bar, was the only place charging and entertainment there was not in the same league. The only slight issue is that one can feel invisible when older in age.

I absolutely love this place! Great drinks and super fun atmosphere! It's unfortunate that the bouncers can definitely let them down, pretty unreasonable at times, I'm a usual there and tried to visit with some friends a few weeks back and was refused entry without any explanation. Other than that, I love the place!

There's always good vibes in Crane Lane. This time we got the beef sliders and they were well worth it. The staff were amazing and kept coming back to refill our drinks since it was still quiet enough.

Fabulous bar. We went on a Saturday night and it was extremely busy (always a good sign), we loved the music at first but in the last 30mins it went a bit too clubby for us. Had a good time none the less, well worth a visit.

The best Latin parties in Ireland! A place to enjoy different music environments and where you can dance and have a some drinks at night such as eating during the day or watching a concert in the afternoon. A totally recommended place

is grand place for alternative music and drinks , definitely many people will enjoy it if it's up to your taste. I don't mind this place but not always I do fancy going there. Overall definitely unique spot, haven't changed since I have been there last time 😉👌

My family and I were down visiting Cork last weekend and met up with some family. We decided to come to your bar for a few drinks and there was around 10 of us there. My mammy had ordered a strawberry daiquiri and couldn’t drink it because it didn’t taste like a strawberry daiquiri. My daddy had asked the cocktail maker to remake it which he did but it was still undrinkable. We kindly asked the waiter if we could swap the drink for something else so she asked the cocktail maker and he said to speak to him directly about the problem. My sister and I went to the cocktail maker and kindly asked if we can swap the drink or possibly add something to make it nicer. The man was very ignorant and rude to both of us.. he reluctantly added to the drink but his attitude was horrible towards us. All the other staff were lovely apart from this man. All it takes is one…

Another one in my Cork's top 10 pubs, mainly for live music (multiple bands very often) everyday.

Nice atmosphere, live music, good food and beer... It was busy even during weak days.

One of my favourite venues in Cork where you can see a nice gig, dance, chat in the decor outside(where it's allowed smoking) or simply chill out with a good beer. Music is 70-80-90 .etc...a bit of everything...very nice...Old and newer tunes. Friday and Saturday nights very very crowded.

Quiet crowded but plesant atmosphere. They can make any drink you request using their wide range of alcohols and spirits.

Good spot. Lots of space, for different vibes in each room/floor. Well worth a gander, order food out of Arthur Maines and drink wherever you feel your vibe is..

We go here every Friday for the latin night and the music is great (although the speakers are a little too loud sometimes so we take earplugs) and service is fast and friendly. The only trouble is there is nowhere to get fresh air, we are asked to move of we stand near the open door (inside or outside) and the garden section is basically a smoking section. To get to the bathroom from the dance floor requires a quest through a cloud of smoke and there's no way to avoid it. Still makes for a good night just have to deal with a few inconveniences.

I love this place so much ❤️ Great space to move around in,especially good if your a smoker as it's large open and next to dancefloor and bar🍻 Went recently with my Daughter and friends for our Birthday, mixed age group too🥳🎉we danced the night away. Live bands also. It's really worth a visit.
