Was there 8 yrs ago just before Eugene got married and I was pleased to see that it was the same friendly bar as before.if you like rugby get in there for a brilliant time .Can not praise the place enough. Very friendly pub with a cosy environment.

Quiet little place, glad I went. Very small with welcoming homely environment. The owner(Eugene) was a nice guy, and I talked with another older fellow whose name I've sadly forgotten. Eugene told me a few stories, like his time at Niagara Falls. Not sure if he'd remember me, I was there back in September 2019. I was the young Canadian fellow with the big backpack who ordered a Murphy's Stout. Your Bar was a real treat, and it was a great way to finish my time in Cork!

Oh, gosh it was like a surgical unit. Even the alcohol was tasting like steriliser, so we left it. At least it was clean and warm.

I know Eugene and Eugene's for 20 Years now. I fell in love the first time I visited Cork and the Pub in 2002. I came back several times with good friends and colleagues, when visiting Cork. It always feels like coming Home. He offers the three stouts: Murphy's, Beamish and Guinness, different Whiskeys and all you need to drink in a good Pub. Eugene's is the best bar in the area. Always a friendly welcome and a lovely pint of Guinness in a clean, bright and warm environment. Always worth a visit ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Eugene's Lounge Bar is a great little getaway. Eugene the owner is a great guy who knows his whiskey and enjoys sharing his knowledge. The bar is clean and cozy and worth a visit when in Cork.

Nice cosy comfortable pub. Decent pint.Its a pub surrounded by other bars.But still stands out.Eugene"s is alright.
