We decided to have a funny 80’s night out! It felt like going back in the past..we had so much fun...the cocktails were good but expencives. Unfortunately my scarf was stolen. I talked to the manager, he had no empathy at all! I won’t go back there because of the managment’s behaviour!

The staff at this place are excellent and defo the best part of the night. We visited on 12 Nov and everybody was very friendly and looked after us well. Large group of us got food drinks and played some games. The food here is ok but I wouldnt say its the best around the place. The chicken burger in particular wasn't great. Food service is very slow as its a really busy spot. The games tokens at €6 for ten is good value but i felt there wasn't many machines there to use them on. Could do with some more variety to be honest. I have to admit I was hugely disappointed there was no Time Crisis. Not all the machines were working either so thats why i couldn't give it a higher score for a review. The Right hand unit of outrun 2 has a broken load cell in the steering wheel so it just ruins two player fun when the car doesn't turn properly I understand these machines are expensive to run and maintain so it isn't easy to have them all going but the main ones like outrun draw a crowd so these have to be right, similar to the deflated balls in the basketball machine. Just pointless and ruins the fun. I feel like the idea behind the bar is great but their execution needs some attention. Not sure I would return to be honest but it is different to anything else in cork and credit to them for trying it

Barcadia is the stuff of retro dreams with every arcade game you could ever want to get sucked into for the night. From Star Wars pinball to video game consoles and even boardgames like Monopoly, we can’t imagine ever being bored here.

Had no idea this place existed in Cork. Came across it after enjoying darts upstairs and had lunch and drinks here. There are arcade games throughout the bar/restaurant, with even a couple of booths that have old school snes and genesis consoles in them. Great spot for hanging out with kids and/or an adult fun night out. There are an array of board games available as well. Food was priced normal, and the drinks were great. Service was fine for lunch. You’ll need to pay for tokens if you want to play the arcades, but the board games and consoles at the table were free. Very fun spot!

Cool, new bar filled with retro arcade games and ping pong tables. Didn't have food but looked good so will return! The games were all abit crowded when we went on a Saturday night and you had to queue for some but definitely like to return at a quieter time and try the food. Good value for money too on the tokens for the games, works out around 50c a game which is cheaper than the usual €1 or €2 prices in other arcades!

This may be the best arcade in the whole country. The retro arcade machines are many, well kept and all look like they couldn't be more than 5 years old, despite some of them being as old as 40!! The staff were so wonderful and the vibes were *chefs kiss*. If you like arcade games, retro vibes or just want to know what those places you see in American tv shows are actually like, give this spot a visit and I promise you won't regret it, get yourself a Mario themed cocktail or mocktail to top it off and you'll walk away happy.

Very nice place, staff were brilliant and the food was lovely. Only minus was it was very noisy where we were sat whenever someone played a game.

Such a fun time! Stayed at a hostel when passing through cork and I wish they had recommended this place to me, and others! Found out about it through a friend and I’m so happy I did. The staff is lovely, drinks are affordable and the activities are just so much fun. Should definitely stop by if you’re visiting.

Great food, nice cold beers, amazing unique cocktails and the retro arcade machines just finish your night off perfectly

Great arcade with all the oldies. 6 euros for 10 tokens, that's a good enough deal. However, extremely overpriced food. 60 euros for a meal for myself and my 2 kids (1 burger, 1portion kids goujons, 1 portion chicken wings, veg nachos, 2 cokes and one water?)

I've played pool, bowling, boardgames, arcades games here and I gotta say, had a great time every time. Great selection of local beer and generic beer, and some decent cocktails. Food is good but had a pizza once which fell short.

For who's love arcade games, snooker and others games is the great place for you know, is better going early for have more access and don't need to wait so long for playing. But the best surprise was the food, was really delicious I recommend you try the special with 2 different meat in the plate, you'll be surprised. Slow cooker and smoked.. definitely I only have one reclaim... I wasn't permitted to see the smoked machine in the kitchen...

Chill atmosphere, one of the only arcades in cork city, machines are cheap at 50 cents per game but pool and pingpong are 8 euro per half hour

One of my favourite places in Cork city. Been going here for years. So many things to do: bowling alley, pool/snooker, board games, video games, arcade, sports screens, great food, very well layed out, excellent staff, good drinks options with multiple bars, ATM upstairs, smoking area out the front, good security, can't recommend the place enough!!

I enjoyed my time greatly here, the atmosphere is very nice and the staff were equally friendly, the facilities available such as arcade machines and pool tables are really good fun and some of the arcade machines are even free for your cheap friends.

Food was very tasty, very friendly & helpful staff.Bowling was good fun, only gripe was the screen with the scores dissappear very quickly after the last trow of the game. Some seats in the bowling area need an upgrade or replacing.Arcade games were OK,some were out of order but there were plenty working.Lots of tables in arcade area for eating etc.

Really fun arcade. There was a lot of variety in games and the space is quite large. I love pinball so I obviously wish they had more than 4 machines there but the ones they had are well maintained and play well. They had Star Wars, Simpsons, Star Trek, and Ghostbusters. Also the price on the tokens is the best I’ve experienced so far at an Irish arcade. 6 euro gets you 10 tokens and each game is only 1 token. 20 euro kept me busy all afternoon.

Got a 'Dirty Swine' burger and it was massive. It tasted very good with sweet potato chips, a few pints and good company. There was a Nintendo 16bit console at our table, with pixelated graphics from the good old times. Can recommend the place.

It's a really great place, and the atmosphere is the best thing about it! What a vibe! Lots of activities to do, booling, a place for quizzes and other activities. What impressed me the most was the atmosphere with the arcade terminals / and another room for table games of all kinds. Or just to eat, in fact, a lot of care was taken with the menu. I had the brisket, which was really excellent but I was a bit disappointed with the quantity for the price... The staff are cool and quick, and there's a good, wide choice of beers on tap.

Best place to hang out in cork, such a unique vibe and atompsprehe if you grew up in the 90s nostalgia will hit ya. Have a wonderful selection of board games and greet food to. Brilliant setup inside and staff super friendly. The arcade machines dont work on € base's you buy tokens at the bar which are very well priced €6 for tokens that you can use on any machine Make sure to bring ID

Honestly, I've always looked at it from the outside when passing by to go to the rest of the complex. It was much bigger inside than I suspected. Perfect for having a night playing arcades with friends. Food was very good as well. The only improvement I could suggest is to expand the board games collection and find a way to maintain the existing one in a better shape ;)

I would have given it 5, but I was so spooked by House of the day 4. So there I was anyway, in freaked in the sewers, when a huge fella throwin slaps like a bat. Then I made my way the Godman building, and there was a load cyber lads attacking me and my buddy Rory o Connor. Spent all me credits. Great laugh.

Great place to go for a fun night out or even to pass a few hours and have a few drinks as there is endless arcade games and all the classic games you could think of. The staff went above and beyond providing exceptional customer service for the gang of us and I will definitely be returning 😊 food was delicious !! 5 stars for me

Had a fantastic evening with the kids age 13 and 2 , plenty of fun games lots of food choices from ribs, burgers, loaded fries to sharing nibble platters. The Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Eric in particular from the second we met him had a bright smile, very chatty, found some dinkies for my 2 year old which gave us lots of time to eat, chat and enjoy the vibe. He couldn't have been nicer and that made us feel very welcome. Got some complimentary coins for gaming stations, to purchase it's 10 for €6 and there is a wonder cocktail menu which il b back to try. Overall we booked on first table and recieved 50% off our food bill. ☺️ 10/10

Go from one to time. The last time I went with a friend. We really wanted to play House of the Dead, turns out that not only the price was increased to 2 tokens per person, but one of the guns is not working properly (again). After wasting tokens on that game we went to the TMNT game, which glitched and re-started just a minute in, leaving us without playing. We left and not planning to go back again.

After about 30 mins in the place (and having been IDed already) a bouncer came up, interrupted my game and accused me of not having ID, when I said I did have one, he questioned my age and bizarrely told me go meet him outside with my ID? I had to leave my game which I'd already paid for with non refundable tokens, felt like I got kicked out...except he wasn't even out there. Quite a few arcade machines not working but still taking coins, and blaring music that covers the sound of the games. Maybe don't make your paying customers feel like they're committing a crime by coming in? Really bad experience, certainly unpleasant attitude from security and we won't come again. (Also I am 24 years old, I certainly don't look like I'm under 18)

Food was nice. Staff was nice. However, they were "out of stock" at 7 PM. I don't know how can you ran out of stock for your cocktails at 7 PM when you close way later but yeah, not my place to question the management of the place, just what I experienced there.

Brilliant atmosphere and really friendly staff. The booth we were in was ideal for 3-4 people and we had unlimited tokens so we had a blast. Food portions are quite large so I advise ordering just the single course included in the package and maximising your gaming time. We had a fantastic night and it relatively cheap for what this was.

Has a brilliant ambience, especially if you're a gamer in any way. There are lots of videogame references and themes splashed throughout every aspect of this place. Even the name is the first example! They have a nice range of games from guitar hero to basketball to dance machines to shooting games. The ping pong is a nice touch, who doesn't like ping pong? Not me anyway...This is THE place to go in Cork for the arcade experience and the food is delicious to boot!!

Been here 9 times an amazing bar/restraunt. The food is great with fun pop culture 90s referencing in regards to drinks and food. It's really smart and a great place to take a date who loves games and nerdy things. A fun vibrant and fantastic bar with accommodating and friendly staff. 😊😊 prices are good cocktails can be a little pricey.
