Yesterday me and my 2 friends went to this pub. It was completely empty apart from a heavy set older man who asked us to leave because we "looked like you were after a few". We were 100% sober at the time of this incident and the bar was empty. No one was inside it apart from that guy who asked us to leave. This guy was watching the TV. My guess is that this guy wanted the TV to himself. There were four people hanging out outside who were also not allowed in. This was around 4pm.

A good vibe, rock bar with a large smoking area out back. Bartenders are easy to talk to and guniness is good!

Great, cozy pub if you are into metal. They have good concerts weekly and a wide range of beers.

Was spoilt with a stellar performance by Deuce here last night, a Rory Gallagher tribute. Fantastic gig great atmosphere . Reasonably priced Murphys at €4.70. Freindly staff. Will be back for more gigs in the near future. Thanks Fred 👍🏻

Amazing drinks, and even better music. Gotta love the ambience at Fred Zeppelins. The staff is really nice and friendly too. The only issue is that they don't accept card and when it comes to cash they don't break big notes, you have to have change with you. Other than that it's an amazing place to get a few pints at. The cocktails are really out of the world too! An overall great experience

Great place for metalheads, fair prices and varied drinks not only beer. Upstairs there's a small venue for live shows. I completely recommend this place 🤘

Stopped going because of the toxic music scene which this bar is a very popular spot for. I can't tell you how many people I've talked to who've said the same thing.

Old school rock/metal pub, great loud music from Soundgarden to System of the Down. Cool bar staff, it's a non nonsense spot for a beer and a bit of fun. Excellent live music too - all heavy,loud and full on energy so don't bother if you want a quiet acoustic evening it's not for you.

Great energetic spot for metal / rock vibes and not uncomfortably loud either. They have live music gig venues upstairs, that is occasionally paid. Always busy and buzzing.

Great rock bar with a venue for live sessions. Great selection of drinks and beers on tap, and the prices are fair. Staff very friendly, crowd attending slightly on the younger side, but you're sure to see people of all ages having a great time Amazing spot for lovers of rock and metal and live music in general!

Great music live and downstairs. Very varied interesting people, oddballs, nice people And smokers, tattoos, torn stockings. From Goth to straightest. Normal - abnormal.

Came here with a group of scottish guys and the atmosphere was brilliant, Dj was class, played plenty of decent songs, even put on some scottish classics which we all had a singalong to brilliant night out can't thank them enough great place!!

Fred's is a great place to go ,the staff are so helpful and add to the great atmosphere of Fred's , from all the great music they play and the mind blowing great live bands that play there , unique and inspiring as always

Only arrived in cork went to freds for my first pint after 1 singular pint i left the pub for about 15 mins and when I returned I wasn't allowed back in when I asked why the rude barwoman said "cause you're a langer" even though my only 1 pint was the one she served me, very rude staff 1 outta 5 stars

A great selection of the finest beers and spirits with a good atmosphere and an, eclectic mix of music. A must visit for both locals and tourists alike.
