So, me and friends went to Luigi Malone, Cork. Very nice place, very good food, comfortable outdoor seating, very nice and peaceful location when compared to city centre. We ordered 1. Cheese Nachos and Cauliflower from the appetizers: very very tasty, freshly made, served warm, big portions, quite filling. 2. Long Island Iced tea: highlight of the dinning experience, the best I have had in Ireland, MUST TRY. 3. my friends ordered Milkshakes and Juices: they liked it. 4. Vegetarian Lasagne: yummmm, legit, tasty, decent portion, served warm. 5. Vegetariana Pizza: amazing thin crust pizza, served warm, decent size, full of vegetables, very nice. Service from New Trainee: Anne Marie was top of the order, good to speak to, food served hot in no time, calm courteous soft spoken person, she checked a couple of times if we needed anything. Overall a nice dinning experience, will love to go back again. MUST TRY. Overall 5 Star. 1 star deducted because of Manager(I think her name is Ms Paulina): we asked for student discount and she said we don't do student discounts (that is fair enough) and then she said WE GUYS DONT LOOK LIKE STUDENTS: not a good joke, not a line to be said to a customer making a bill of 91 euros, bit rude, she made me feel as If I was lying to her. So I had to get up and show them my Student Card.

I have been to Luigi Malones in Cork a few times now and it is always a good night and on more than one occasion it has been with a large group of friends! They have always had ample room to seat a party of 10 or more for any occasion! The waitresses and bar staff are very friendly and attentive! The building is nicely decorated and well laid out! The tables were spotlessly clean and are spaced out with loads of room between you and the next table! The food is delicious and the serving sizes were great. Highly recommend getting the Buffalo Wings as a started to share! For my main I had the ribeye and it was a fantastic steak, cooked perfectly to order! For dessert I got the the toblerone cheesecake and was stuffed! There can be a wait betweennorders but overall I will always come back to Luigi Malones for a lovely meal and a few drinks with friends! I would recommend that you book in advance for large groups and its an ideal location right besode the Cork Opera House just off of Patrick's Street!

I took my daughter to this amazing resteraunt Luigi Malones to celebrate her 19th Birthday. The staff went over and above to make my daughters birthday so special. I had given my daughter a very large size Helion happy birthday balloon. My daughter was worried it may be to big to bring into the restaurant. I convinced her otherwise. When we were seated by a lovely staff, immediately she placed the balloon in the centre of the table and said very kindly to my daughter to always remember the you only have one birthday a year and to make the most of it. At the end of our meal (very generous portion sizes) which was absolutely delicious, afterwards three members of staff surprised us with a lovely Toblerone cheese cake and two forks with a candle on it. They did the full works singing happy birthday song and everything. They were amazing. It almost brought tears to my eyes. We are so grateful for this beautiful act of kindness. Thank you to all at Luigi Malones. Ye are amazing 👏

Update: November '22. Back for more this evening. Food not as great as August visit, but 12/10 for service from the fabulous Mo👍👍 Fast, friendly, professional. Great buzzy atmosphere tonight cancelled out the rubbish weather and depressing global news Didn't expect to be giving 5 ⭐ as I thought it had, had it's day. It hasn't. First of all, big shout out to Monaghan Mo, who was the perfect hostess. The food was really nice and everyone more or less cleaned their plates. House red wine was excellent, but we didn't have desserts as starter/main portions are really generous. I had the wings (delicious) followed by Bacon cheeseburger which looked and tasted homemade, served with unfortunately delicious crispy fries and a little salad. Am going back for the cocktails though which looked incredible. Pricewise, it won't break the bank

Nice food, nice service, good atmosphere. Family friendly. Wasn't a fan of the Strawberry Daiquiri but enjoyed the pizza, tacos and chips. Would definitely be back again.

The pizza tasted like something I’d make in my easy bake oven, the cheese was the best part. The lasagne was a very small portion and about 80% meat and 20% noodles. This place had the most corporate feel to a restaurant I’ve had in Ireland. I did not like it. Noisy and uncomfortable. The wait staff does their job well, but not overall friendly. Parking is hard to find and the bustle of this area is a lot. I wouldn’t come back.

Great looking place with really good food which came out pretty quickly. The girl who greeted us at the door (25/05 evening) was so kind, a real charm in the establishment. Wish there was more pasta options though! :)

Brought grandchildren for burgers and pizzas. Milk shakes too. Very friendly staff, great food and reasonably priced . We'll go back happily.

The bbq baby ribs were absolutely amazing!!!!! Also was the service, the waitress Jessica was very good and helpful. I loved everything :)

Lovely spot really busy and staff are very capable and friendly. The food is really nice and should score more except my first choice main wasn't available , but don't let that sway you , if you go here you will have a lovely evening. Booking is recommended I'd say.

We had a great extended family lunch here yesterday. Fantastic service - we had coeliacs and vegetarians in the group and they took care to explain the options and how they keep the ingredients separate. The food was delicious, great range available for all ages and tastes. Really enjoyed the experience.

The ambiance is amazing! Booking in advance would be good as the place is busy. The lunch deals are good. The dessert options are fab.

Went here for dinner the food was fantastic. Has the skewered lamb it was 10/10. The service was perfect. Emma was our waitress and she was fantastic thanks again . The welcome we got on arrival was also extremely nice . Will return thanks again. 😊

Stopped in for a bite to eat before a show in the Cork Opera House. No problem seating us without a reservation. Prompt drinks service from the waiter. We were also assisted on a vegan menu item for one of our party with courtesy and care. All the staff we encountered were lovely. The food was great. The service was great. The bathrooms were clean. No issues splitting our bill either

Popped in for the two course and soft drink lunch menu for €15. Good value for money considering you can pay €7 for a sandwich in some places. Generous portion. Would go again.

We walked in just chancing, but we're offered a table no problem. Had to wait for food about half an hour, but it came delicious, really. Good portions too. Beautifully decorated for Christmas already, I'd say romantic too, so definitely worth a visit.

Super pub with large restaurant area. Visited with my wife and 2 kids for an evening meal. Super efficient friendly staff who look like they enjoy their work. We were served by the excellent Lydia. Food was very good and reasonably priced relative to the experience. Can recommend!

Great vibe 😊. I had the beef cheese burger with bacon...huge and very good 😋 It came with hand cut fries and coleslaw. My husband had the lamb and chorizo skewers, another good portion. The menu has a good selection of different food types. The barman was awesome, a real show preparing cocktails 😁. Quite busy so better to book a table. And they are kids friendly. Will be back for more 👍🏻

Came in by chance after searching all around town for places that would help me break up large bank notes for small bus change. The staff at Luigi Malones were so friendly and helpful! Atmosphere was really warm and they have a wide selection of food and local drinks that are reasonably price. Definitely recommend and big thanks to the staff!!

The wife and myself frequented this restaurant last night as a change from our usual eateries hoping to be pleasantly surprised. 30euro for a 3 course meal each was I suppose okay in relation to other places. For starters we both had nachos and a portion of wings Top layer of nachos were burnt from the grill I assume so had to battle through those to get to the unburnt ones. Had worse but have had a lot better in the past in different places. The wings were fine with a nice sauce and dip The wife had lasagna and chips which she enjoyed whilst i ordered ribs and chips. It's not good when the chips are the best bit on the plate, the portion size was plentiful and looked lovely and inviting. However while the ribs on the sides were suffice the larger ones were tough as old boots. So much so I could not eat any of them and in the end asked for them to be wrapped up and taken home to the dog who is a lot easier to please. Can't comment on our cheesecake yet as it's still in the fridge as we had had enough by then. Service was great and prompt though so that's some good news. I told the server about the ribs who said he will inform the kitchen. Ribs should drop off the bone not have to pull off the meat for future reference. Would I come back? ..For lunch yes.

Was extremely surprised how tasty the food here was as it’s a chain (I’m often biased). Very tasty chicken and crispy pizza. Positively shocked at how reasonably priced it was as well!

We were looking for pizza so we went to this place. The toppings were amazing! The base could have been better, it didn’t have that thin crispy base I’d typically associate with pizza ovens. My partner ordered a cosmopolitan cocktail, the presentation was unusual - red liquid in a fairly large glass with ice cubes floating. Mostly tastes of cranberry juice. I ordered a milkshake, it was more like chocolate milk the thick consistency one would associate with a milkshake wasn’t there. If I have a future want for pizza I don’t think I’ll be fulfilling it at Luigi malones but maybe if I was attending a show in the opera house and wanted something near by…

Visited here twice in recent weeks. Lovely food, great choice. Very good service from friendly, efficient staff. Spotlessly clean and tables well spaced. Will definitely be back.

Will not be coming back. Very unimpressed. Food was ok. Price was reasonable. The place is big so there is plenty of space to socially distance.Highly recomended until this evening. Update after visiting Luigi's this evening Saturday may 7th 2022. Food was fine unfortunately our waiter was an ignorant ########. He made some comment under his breath when clearing the table (not in English,I didn't hear,my friend did). I wanted to speak to the manager but my friend didn't want to make a fuss,so I said it to the cashier as I paid the bill.He had a terrible attitude from the start. We asked for a few things during the meal (hot water with lemon and chilli flake's), it seemed to be a major inconvenience for him. I'm not sure if he knows what his job is. I won't be returning to Luigi's again.

Wonderful service from Mo at Luigi Malones Cork! We came for my sisters birthday and the whole experience was great with our Waitress Mo. She was very kind and helpful the entire night, the food was lovely and a fair price! I had a calzone that wasn't even technically on the menu and it was delicious! They were very subtle about getting the candle in the birthday cake without letting on too! All in all great night Thank you Mo! =)

Great choice of food and drinks. We both had pizza which was very fresh and tasty; generous amount of toppings. The toblerone dessert was to die for! Good atmosphere inside with nice decor and comfortable seating. Would suit families, groups and couples. Would recommend.

From getting to the restaurant I had a good feeling, they quickly found us a table and sat us down. The waitress was great with our kids and her service was fantastic. The food came out hot we didn't need to wait long for our food. The flavor in the food was out of this world, and the serving sizes were great. Absolutely loved our evening and would recommend it to anybody who wants a great evening.
