Pleasant staff and great food & venue. A smaller kitcen makes for a more cosy and lively experience while dining with the hustle and bustle. Would recommend.

Food and atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous. Staff very friendly and efficient. Cannot wait to return. My vegan friend was delighted she said the burger was nicest vegan one she's had...they had a chocolate cake dessert for her and almond milk for her latte so they catered for all our needs which sounds small but not all restaurants do. Very cosy romantic place for a date night

We ate in Eco last night. It was the first time we had eaten there. The food was gorgeous, very fresh and good portion sizes. We had starter, mains and dessert. All the girls serving us were very efficient and friendly. We will definitely be back again.

Highly reccomened!! Great ambiance, very cozy and romantic. My partner and I had the 10 oz sirloin steak, cook to perfection as we requested. My 2nd favourite restaurant to enjoy a nice steak in Cork.

Went for family dinner. Everything great, super service and for the main tasty food. But I was a bit saddened to see the vegatarian option and vegan options were served with fries that were fried in oil wit meat and fish.... to me that is not good.... vegatarian means NO MEAT, FISH comes in contact with your food or the food that they have as an addition to the meal...... But we all had a good evening. 👍

Everything was perfect! The food was amazing and the staff were kind. I honestly wish I could relive the moment of eating the burger I got there.

Food: It was great food, everything was perfect. Highly recommend, specially the desert section was awesome. Staff: All staffs were friendly and take care of every customers. I really like to thanks to the Manager of the Eco Douglas. She is very kind and friendly lady. She really helped us (15 hungry people) to get the table in the busiest weekend.

Decided to book here cause it's usually booked out so we thought it would be good. It was...not good. I only gave it one star cause it was hot and edible. There was no flavour like at all. My sisters steak was so raw it was still mooing and my burger was so dry it was put out on the clothes line. Definitely not coming again. My dad got the wrong thing he ordered and my mam's 'peppercorn' sauce was white sauce with peppercorn kernels in it. The starter was so lauded with salt it physically nearly burned my tongue when I tried it. Hugely disappointed.

The food was good but not great. Microscopic starter not impressed. I had the impression that the salad and the sprouts were taken out of the container and placed on a plate just like that. Unfortunately, a huge minus for the lack of space inside. Everyone who passing us hit us. It wasn't nice. Only the service was fantastic and very helpful.

I haven't been here in a while but it is just the same as before, in a good way! It was very busy and I can't imagine anyone getting a table without making a reservation. Great selection on the menu. I had Chicken Taverna which was tasty but the sauce had cooled a little when it arrived. I was told the Sole and Mediterranean stir-frys were also good. They don't offer almond milk for coffee but all in all a good choice of teas and coffees. They also now offer a beer which they used not. Great atmospheric restaurant, not a quiet restaurant but a bustling one with people chatting and laughing. Perfect for a night to catch up with friends.

Very good family meal. Great menu for adults and kids were happy too. Will be back soon.

A menu that should cater for the majority of people, staff were friendly and service was quick. Was in for lunch nd a evening meal, for evening meal main I got the chicken stir fry which was a small bit disappointing,no real flavours although fresh ingredients but still bland nothing to make it stand out would not be getting it again.

Take out menu ordered, order was a bit messed up due to bad phone line (my side) but they were very nice and changed my order. Food was great and portions were very generous. Ecos have not lost their touch as I haven't been there in years. I will definitely visit again for the sit in dining experience

This is a Gem of a restaurant. It's rustic interior is warm and homely. The staff are very attentive and alert. The food is excellent, one of the freshest plates I have ever had. My wife and I will definitely be back here next time we are in Douglas.

Food was delicious especially pasta primavera. The waitress was polite. We had starters and desserts. Everything came to our table pretty quick. All staffs were very welcoming. Definitely visit some other time.

Very average. Similar to what you'd expect from a place serving bar food. Starter was nice but main course was not very well cooked, a bit dry and overcooked as if it was waiting under a heater too long before they served me. Menu too big for them to specialise in making anything excellent. I doubt everything is fresh also with such a big menu. The decor is also a bit dated or underwhelming. Seems like they haven't done anything with it in 10 years. With all the great places in the city centre to choose from I won't be coming back here anytime soon.

It is a very friendly place that offers great and delicious food. There is such a variety of dishes for diferent tastes. The portions are enormous! Go there when you are very hungry and in case that thare are leftovers, don't feel embarrassed to ask them that you want to take it home for a snack later on. They will gladly assist you. Also, you can even buy a voucher to someone that you love.

Haven't been to ECO's, Douglas Village in over 20 years. It hasn't changed. Excellent meal served by courteous, professional staff in a great atmosphere. Thank you.

Ordered the vegetarian Beyond burger and chips, the burger itself was half or a third the size of the buns, and the cheese was just about visible as a few burnt spots of yellow crust on the burger and the chips were reheated frozen chips. And for a place named "eco" they weren't economic on packaging, my bin is now full. I would have made a better meal from the old frozen bits in my freezer and my poor cooking skills. I really hope this review inspires better quality overall for this restaurant, we used to love this place. Now I can't justify spending money on a meal where the chef took no pride in his work.

Well it has been many years since I ate in Eco. That all changed two weeks ago and again on Wednesday night. Two of the most enjoyable evenings had in a long time! The food was amazing both nights and what a friendly atmosphere from the staff. We couldn't have been happier. The food perfect and prices were not at all crazy. Thank you Eco. Sean
