I would rate this as one of the top 5 beer spots in Cork. Good selection, and really great ambiance. A decent amount of seating is outside in front along the road. There is a large section of bottles and cans, but the draft selection is better than most in Cork. The service was really good. They were helpful in explaining the beer options and really friendly. I will definitely be back.

Great venue. Excellent choice of beers on draft. Definitely the best range in Cork City. Allow you try before you buy. I went with the Orange Velvet (5.5%) which tasted like a Solero Ice Cream and the partner went for Lindeman’s Kriek which is a cherry lager (4.5%) which tastes like Haribo Cherry’s. The strongest they do on draft is 8%. Definitely worth a visit for any beer lover. Rhys is a brilliant barman. Great conversationalist and craic at the bar.

This is exactly what cork was missing. It's much like it's sister pubs such as Bonobo in Smithfield Dublin. The staff are lovley and friendly and have a smile on their face, very chill vibe and tasteful drinks. Fav place in cork now.

We went there following a recommendation of a friend and we had great time there. The staff couldn't have been more attentive and nice, there was a really nice vibe too. They have a great beer selection both on draught and cans/bottles and the cocktails were really good. I'd definitely go back sometime soon!

The place is actually OK, but the bar staff are useless. I was standing at the bar, and a staff member said "give me 2 minutes". This was no problem to me. However, 15 mins later I still hadn't been served and all he had done was prepare some weird cocktail for potential customers, and tell his fellow colleagues that he hated bar tending "sham". I gave up on waiting and left.

Two sided drinks menu. A mix of craft beers, ciders, spirits, cocktails, alc-free options all topped off with down to earth, easy to deal with, bubbly staff who manage incredibly well with the space they have available 🏆

If you want to man handled by the bouncer and told you are a fawking snowflake this is the place to go. What language to use towards anyone. Quiet Christmas drinks with friends ruined by one awful individual. Definitely a place to go if like being treated poorly.

Was here last night for my birthday, I cannot thank the bouncer and one of the bar staff members who looked after me last night!! They seen someone grab me and kiss me last night without asking and before I could even tell my friends, the bouncer and girl from the bar were straight over to make sure I was okay and brought me outside, they brought me and my friend two drinks and checked up on me for the rest of the night. Honestly, completely turned the bad situation around for me and I can’t thank them enough, sadly didn’t get their names but if they see this they will know who they are <3

Great selection of craft beers, and even the odd micro. Very chill atmosphere. Opens a bit on the later side, would happily be there from midday! They don't serve food, but you can pick up something up from one of the places nearby to eat there. No cutlery though so bring you're own.

Despite the fact one of the bouncers from New Zealand likes to think he owns the place, it's a very good spot for a drink early or late in the day, with a wider variety of beers.

Nice bar and staff but most of their beer is sold in 440ml glasses and not pints, but they charge full price so it's a bit of a rip-off and I don't think I'll be going back. When I asked about the glass size I was told the stronger beers are sold in smaller glasses. When I pointed out that my beer was 4%, he just repeated the same line. I wouldn't mind if it was advertised but I feel like I've been ripped off. Some other pubs do serve very strong beers in smaller measures but they tell you when you order.

Nice place for dating and meeting friends, but I’d you re looking for some quiet place it won’t be the perfect place but it’s a perfect place for the drink and they made the tasty cook tails price roughly from (10-12)

Lovely quirky place with friendly staff. Not only do you get free crisps but they also have a free & plentiful supply of period products in the loo's. Cannot fault the place.

We just went out for a casual few drinks after work. The minute we walked into Impala we were made feel more than welcome. We initially were unclear about what we should order, that's when Stephanie appeared and welcomed us, and made us feel right at home. She was incredibly helpful to us and gave us a great selection of craft beers and great cocktails. We had great fun and banter with her and really couldn't fault anything about the place. Definitely will return again 😊

We went in for a few drinks over the jazz weekend and as it was our first time here we were delighted to find such a comfy bar with very friendly staff. We're looking forward to coming back very soon. 🙂

Had a quick Friday evening pint. Good selection of beer, with plenty Irish. Had an Ambush by Trouble Brewing, which was very nice. Busy bar, but good service. Sat outside and nice vibe with mixed crowd.

Next level. Great beers, great cocktails, beautiful interior and sound staff. Could do with sterdier benches but no fault to this place. One of the best bars in Cork

My boyfriend and I were walking around Cork and wanted somewhere to quickly have ONE beer, we were refused service because of his joggers! I think it’s unfair to discriminate people based on what they are wearing. If you have a dress code the make it a notice before people walk in!

Great decor, wonderful beer and spirit selection but it’s the staff really do make this place special. Whoever is in charge of hiring for this bar is doing an amazing job, never had an encounter with a member of staff in this great bar that was anything less than lovely, even on their busiest nights.

Great bar with a great street buzz outside the front. Staff are super cool and very efficient. Was there on a busy Saturday night and never had to wait too long for a pint. Big selection of international beers. Good quality pint of Beamish too. Recommended!

This place was amazing this evening! Every member of staff was so welcoming and so happy to see people and interact. We even got two rounds of free crisps which was just such a delightful touch that made us stay for more and more rounds! The margueritas were delicious and I really felt on holiday! Keep doing what you’re doing guys!….super experience!

Absolutely fantastic bar with a huge selection of any poison you like. The staff are singular, so sound, so experienced and can guide you with any query you have. Ladies bathrooms are lovely which I would usually not notice about a place. Great tunes and loads of space to smoke either inside or out. So central and often opens later than other places.

Had an amazing night out here, staff are beyond sound and friendly, we asked for crisps and they ran out of tayto so we we're given a free bag of banshee bones. Tome. Such a large range of Pints and spirits. Bangin choose that everyone can enjoy too

Some great beers on tap and despite it being busy - managed to bag a full table. Bit loud in terms of music but not the worst by a mile - well worth swinging past.

Love this pub.. great selection of drinks. However it's impossible to get a booking! Did the form almost a week before I was told it was too busy. Got in eventually though for a walk in 🙂

Absolutely amazing time in Impala. The staff are all super friendly, attentive and very good at their job. Honesty some of the best bar staff I've ever come across in Cork. The atmosphere of the bar is great. The selection of beers was fantastic and the free crisps were a fantastic touch.
