Had one of the most delicious meals I’ve had in a very long time. The staff could not have been more friendly and the service was impeccable. I ordered the scampi to start. Would travel from afar for it alone. Sensational. The lamb madras for main was so tender, such tasty bites. A terrific wine list and a dessert menu where I wanted to order the lot! In the current economic climate, it’s a rarity to get to get such value for money. The whole experience was wonderful from start to finish. Will definitely be back on my next visit to Cork!

The manager (a red haired woman) was very rude! She believed we didn’t understand English, she was impolite and hasty. Very bad customer experience! The food was good and the turkish waiter who served us was friendly and professional.

Superb dining experience from start to finish. The restaurant itself is quite understated, but very elegant. Staff were all welcoming, friendly and attentive - without being overbearing. But the food was the real star of the show; I had the Vegetable Curry - which was excellent. My son and daughter-in-law thoroughly enjoyed their choices too. The soda bread (which I believe they make themselves) was by far the best we’ve had during our entire trip to Ireland. And trust me when I say that we ate a lot of soda bread! Highly recommended, and I’d advise you book in advance, as this place is always busy!

We'd only just arrived in Cork when we decided to have dinner here; however we hand't made a reservation so we were prepared to go elsewhere if necessary. The woman who greeted us said she'd check if we could have a table, as they had several reservations and they were preparing for a massive group of teachers to arrive (celebrating the end of the school year). She walked around the entire restaurant with her seating chart, counting and calculating. We were thrilled she was able to seat us, and even with such a huge group coming, our service wasn't affected in the least. We felt very taken care of and our meal was delicious. Once those teachers did arrive, though, the decibel level rose incredibly. With brick walls, high ceilings and open areas, there's nothing to really absorb the sound. So when it's packed with an enthusiastic very large group, it can get loud. But overall I'd say it was a very pleasant dining experience, we truly appreciated getting seated without a reservation, and our meal was great. I'd go again in a heartbeat.

A flawless experience! The ambience and the waiter was amazing. I ordered the Lamb Madras Curry - a must try if I’m completely honest. Also, ended it with a tiramisu as dessert. Overall, the value for the experience we had was great.

Popped in one evening whilst working away, had a wonderful homemade fishcake to start and a rather nice lamb madras although not spicy enough for me it was very tasty.

Absolutely delicious! Very friendly & accommodating staff for our table of 8. Ordered the fish & potato cakes, and my husband ordered the duck confit. 2 of the best meals we have ever eaten! Our group was all very impressed with the food and atmosphere. Made our stop in Cork worth it.

My family of 6 had a wonderful meal in Isaacs for my son's University graduation. The food was absolutely wonderful with loads of choice and good value. We all had different starters and mains, and each dish was as good as the next. The deserts were also excellent. The wait staff were very attentive and extremely pleasant. Overall we had a lovely lunch time. Well done, we will definitely be back.

The place is lovely , right in the middle of city center with man made waterfall. The biggest asset this place is his staff. To be more precise Ethan (hopefully i spelt the name right) is one of the best servers I've met ever. He was the most welcoming , most attending and much more. Dont want to waffle too much but this man deserves a good pay and is a true asset to this place. Well done. Will return !

Nicely surprised by this restaurant. Went there for lunch and got "lucky" to get a table whereas we did not book. Waiters were gentle polites and efficients The lunch menu was proposing several options and finally it was good on the dish I choose. I would come back to that place

Lovely staff, delicious food, well selected drinks, and fine atmosphere. Deserves the raving reviews. We only had 40-60 minutes to dine as we were late and had a train to catch—the staff at Isaac’s were able to accommodate us and were very quick and attentive with their service. I would definitely recommend coming here, and would consider coming again if I was back in Cork.

Had an amazing meal here at the weekend. Beautiful restaurant with a lovely calm atmosphere. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. A good variety of options on the menu, with some nice specials each day. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced for the high quality we received. Would recommend booking in advance. We will definitely return to eat here.

Stayed for 1 night in budget single room with bathroom, €75 excluding breakfast. Everything, including common areas, was spotless and comfortable. Kettle, iron, ironing board, spare towels, tv, available in room. Staff efficient and friendly. Breakfast (in my case a generous “small Irish”) for €15 was available in dining room downstairs, and was good. Great central location. Thanks to everyone.

Beautiful work lunch had last week for a group of approx 14. Service was efficient without being at all rushed or hasty. All food was brought out hot and within the same time frame for the group to enjoy. First time visiting here for a lunch and so pleasantly surprised I look forward to a return visit.

We had a lovely meal on Sunday, a set meal but with plenty of options. This place has an amazing waterfall and since the restaurantwasnt busy we got the best seat. The staff were very efficient and very friendly. The mushroom soup was amazing served with a variety of different tasty breads. I had vegetarian food and it was mouthwatering. My partner had a seafood meal and was very happy with what they ordered. The service was excellent. We had a bottle of very nice Prosecco. The total cost was about €120 and considering the Prosecco was €40 and the meal was amazing this was defintly worth it. PS I think dessert was included but we were full and in a rush. Look forward to visiting this place again.

Isaacs has never rested on its laurels. I was as pleased with my meal there yesterday as i was 20 years ago. Food was delicious, (deep fried brie and roast duck👍👍), staff professional and very attentive. Lovely airy room in the hot weather, and a great vibe. Don't pass it by👏👏👏

One of my most fave restaurants in Cork. We celebrated my moms 70th birthday last week here, and the staff were incredible. The customer service was absolutely impeccable. They went above and beyond for the entire evening, making sure we had everything. Which made the night out even more special. The food was just DIVINE. Absolutely mouth watering. 5 star service galore! Thanks again to all the wonderful staff :) Can’t wait to return

My partner and I enjoyed a delicious dinner at Isaac's recently. This was our second visit and we were equally impressed as we were the first time. The food was fantastic (I had the monkfish special and my partner had the steak) and although it was very busy, the atmosphere was still enjoyable. The food was fresh, tasty and plentiful. I would like to especially mention our waitress (her name was Liza on the bill). She was clearly a very experienced waitress and made us feel very welcomed. Her attention to detail was flattering and she came across as friendly, relaxed and accommodating even though she was obviously run off her feet. We really enjoyed our evening and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Isaac's to anyone!

Ate at this excellent Cork institution. Turbot fillet for 19 Eur was too good to resist. Food is excellent and you definitely won't leave hungry. Black pudding salad to start, then Turbot with buerre blanch followed by Tunisian orange cake. All excellent and great value.

Simply the best. Isaac's never disappoints. The food is exquisite. Thai Green Curry is historic. I could go on and on. Every dish is a treat. I miss the old lady who dined there every day. She dined and read her paper at the same table every day. The owners and the staff really looked after her. A great establishment in every sense of the word.

(Translated by Google) I didn’t like it at all. Inside, everything is crowded with tables so much that even taking off outer clothing without disturbing the neighbors will fail. Very noisy. When all the tables are filled, there is a strong buzz, a feeling is created that it is at the station. No hoods, very stuffy. The food did not like at all. With a large declared choice on the restaurant’s website, you will be offered an A4 piece of paper with a very limited choice of food. Refrain from ordering Irish coffee. They brought me something in a dirty glass that tasted more like old coffee, preheated in a microwave and lots of whiskey. There was no creamy layer at all. Of the good, I can say thanks to the waiter.

Fantastic steak. The meat was cooked to perfection, one of the best I ever had. Just a bit bland without any herbs or spice. Great wine available. This is one of the better restaurants in Cork, definitely. If only parking would be possible!

Good restaurant that is a little bit more classy then the typical Irish pubs in the city centre. The restaurant has got quite a broar range of foods ranging from local black pudding to nice fish dishes. Friendly waiters and reasonably priced.
