Food is average at best. We ordered the whole fish, seafood orzo, and the honey marinated Mediterranean chicken. Food wasn’t bad but for the price, it wasn’t anything to write home about. The vegan chocolate mousse was not to our taste but we ordered it as there wasn’t much more of a choice in dessert. Excellent ambiance and service all around!

Lovely café with nice ambience and furniture. Food is immensely affordable, especially considering alternative city prices. Food was delicious, fresh, and great to hear it is mostly locally sourced. Staff were genuine, helpful and welcoming. One thing that did disappoint was the coffee, which was very below par, but overall a very satisfactory experience!

Myself and my Partner had dinner in Orso recently and it was not the best experience. We had booked the dinner for 9pm, and at 8:50pm ( en route to the restaurant) we got a call asking could we postpone our booking to 9:30 which we agreed to. When we arrived we were asked to wait a further 20 minutes before being seated. At this stage we were very hungry and had to wait another 10 minutes before we were given food menus. The table next to us, whom was seated after us, was given menus and attention before us. At this point I called the waiter over and asked could we please have some menus, and he responded asking me to be patient and he would get us menus in a moment. We were then told that many things , particular the most popular items on the menu, were sold out which was also quite disappointing. The host Gavin was very friendly and had initially offered us a drink each on the house for postponing our booking to 9:30 which we did appreciate. At the end of all of this we kindly added a tip to our bill which we thought was beyond generous considering the evening and we did not even get a thank you or a goodbye from our waiter . They also forgot to bring us our coffee which they had also added on to the Bill. Nice Atmosphere but could definitely do with some customer service improvements.

Food: 2/5 less than average food for breakfast. The flatbread for the manoushi was dry along with the egg was over poached. Price: 3/5 cost was average and what you would expect. Environment: 3/5 completely normal and decent dining experience. A little small, but nothing overly special.

Nice Mediterranean style place. There is outdoor seating at the.moment with covid. The menu range from some hot food options like Korma and Koftas to salads and baguettes.

Really superb. Staff lovely. Atmosphere is great. Do yourself a favour and order the fried courgette side.. Delicious. Dining at the bar as I type with a beer and a reggae soundtrack... Could do worse!

Unfortunately food here was not so good. Tiny portions, too expensive for such amount and quality. Free tap water and nice vaiters. Not recommended for food.

Decent food. Just seemed like slight twists on standard dishes.

Welcoming place to go with friends, a couple or on your own. Beautiful food and drinks. Friendly and attentive staff. I had the baked cauliflower as a starter and the chicken supreme as main dish, both were amazing, also the "surprise me!" mocktail was perfect. Even though I was the only guest outside, they turned the heater on for me. Thank you for the lovely experience. I'd definitely come back. 🌟

Food is grand but forgettable. Staff were lovely but the place was so crowded and warm because it's such a small restaurant. Cocktails were great though! Think this place is really give or take. Some will love it and some won't and that's okay!

Very flavorful main course with the mushroom and coconut curry. Cauliflower app was ok but drinks were also great. Cool vibe and decor inside and fab service.

Lovely meal, the food was delicous and staff very attentive. We had a full vegetarian dinner with melted provola for starter, cannelloni and dahl. Each dish special in its own way, very rich and with generous portions. The only small downside was the music which didn't add much to the nice romantic caldelight atmosphere. Personally prefer a quieter place to talk, but didn't hinder too much the experience all the same.

Delicious food, lovely service and vegan friendly! Super tasty cocktails available and the staff were very knowledgeable about allergies (vegan) and listed many options!

I have dined in this restaurant many times. The food and service is excellent and would go as far as saying as I cannot fault it. I visited again recently for lunch and indulged in a fresh chicken schwarma that hit the spot. The interior is cosy and the coffee is great. Definitely a favourite of mine which I will continue to return.

The ambiance, vibes, and staff were fantastic, but the food was pretty hit or miss. I had the mushroom satay. It tasted pretty bland, wouldn't order it again. Wife had chicken saag and she enjoyed it. My son had the braised cauliflower and beef kibbeh. The cauliflower was very tasty, but he did not care for the beef kibbeh.

Cozy, intimate, modren and nice place for a meal. Lovely atmosphere. Visited on a Saturday night with reservations recommended as very few tables. Some outdoor covered seating available. Very good appetizers promptly served on nice plated. Dinner was also served on nice plates with ample portions. Perfect temperature dishes of fish and chicken. Very good tasting dishes. Very good service. Also, great music was playing over the sound system throughout the place. Restrooms upstairs along a windy staircase. Overall very nice experience.

Menu - was much smaller when we went in today. Lunch options are limited for vegetarians. Unfortunately, since the chicken used isn’t free-range, less option for those who choose to avoid unnatural chicken with hormones and growth promoters. Accessibility - The seating outside makes it very uncomfortable for one to weave in through to enter and exit the restaurant.

Food so good that I couldn't resist eating it before taking a photo. Possibly one of the best brunches in Cork. The manoushi is off the charts.

Nice place but probably my least favourite of all the "lane" restaurants in Cork. Staff were great and it looks well, the food was good at the time and certainly filling. Ultimately it's all a bit forgettable and a tiny bit pricey. When you compare it to what you'd get at the more focused Elbow Lane, Goldie and Market Lane it's hard not to be disappointed
