πŸ‘ Great atmosphere, we went for brunch πŸ˜€ πŸ‘Œ quiet busy but nice food. The Chai latte it didn't taste much and the pancakes were dry, the cream portion that they serve with it wasn't enough for 3 huge pancake, it doesn't have the wow factor. But it's a nice place over all. People often mention good, staff, great, friendly, service, Great, delicious, nice, menu, breakfast,

This place is the best of the best in Cork. The environment is really cozy and welcoming. The food is amazingly good. From entrees until dessert everything was delicious and tasty. And the staff are very nice and kind. Alejandro was very pleased and give us really good recommendations. Will be back per sure. Highly recommended.

What a fantastic place! Service is one of the best I have received so far! They care and strive for a a wonderful and wholesome experience for their customers! I was there alone and was going to order one main dish and soup. Upon speaking to the girls, she, herself, offered to substitute the soup for mashed potatoes (included with the main) so I wouldn't feel gross after a huge meal. How thoughtful and sweet! If I lived in Cork, I'd definitely come to this place regularly! It was indeed an enjoyable experience and I highly recommend coming here!

Great atmosphere and food. I went for a brunch and they have a good selection of plates. All of them are nice and made on the spot. Coffe was good and orang juice was superb. It is very busy so you could wait a bit before be seated and once you finished will be queue of people who want to sit. Only one thing: how it is possible they don't have brown sauce?

An absolutely fantastic dining experience. Ww had a wonderful window seat, lovely staff, a varied reasonably priced menu, delicious food. The best meal we have had in a very long time. We had starters, mains, desserts, wine, stout and coffees, all different choices and everything was amazing. We will definitely return and recommend.

Whenever I ask for recommendations on where to have breakfast in Cork City SpitJack is always at the top of the list. I think the popularity of this place is due to the fresh ingredients they use in their food. Fresh orange juice is exactly that, freshly squeezed. The ham is not deli ham but real ham. Haha, the only letdown in this place is the water. Tap water in Cork City doesn't exactly taste good. 🀣🀣🀣

Five stars all round for SpitJack Cork. The staff are friendly but very non intrusive on your dining experience. Very fast and professional. Lovely setting decor and atmosphere especially upstairs. The food just wow. Get there early for the pork porchetta its divine. The crackling and apple sauce combination is mouth watering. Portion are huge if your not a big eating forget ordering the starter. It was so reasonable price wise. 2 starters 2 mains 3 glass of wine and a coke €94. Very reasonable for the experience and portion size. Book this place weeks in advance there's a reason its impossible to get a table here.

A really gem. We went on a Tuesday night and it was really busy which reflects well on its popularity. We were served by Ming, who was lovely, helpful, and attentive. A real asset to the restaurant. We had starters and mains, and as we went for happy hour between 5 and 7 pm, we got a deal. I had chicken, and my husband had steak. My chicken was really moist, and my husband said his steak was juicy and cooked perfectly (medium rare) Great local larger, too πŸ‘.

Everything about The SpitJack was enjoyable. The ambience/atmosphere when you walk in is great, a real buzzy space. The interior is so well thought out the details in the decor are fantastic. We were seated upstairs. Staff were extremely courteous and of course the food was excellent. We had a good cross-section of the menu between 4 of us and there were zero complaints. A very worthwhile experience, I'll be back again next time I visit Cork.

Had been meaning to go here for a while and I can say, it was worth the wait. Everything on the menu is absolutely delightful. Food: Very tasty and flavourful. Pancakes could have been a bit better. But love every dish we ordered. Ambience: warm and cozy Service: quick and friendly Overall: Must visit for breakfast, lunch or dinner

My friend came here for lunch just after the exam, and I really liked the egg dipping sauce, which was very satisfying. It's a little crowded indoors.

The staff and service are amazing. They have a great 3 course menu for dinner with a very good value for money and their brunch options are also very delicious! Their drinks and cocktails are also something that you shouldn't miss, and the presentation of their cocktails makes them even better.

Cosy and Great dining experience for the perfect business dinner I have visited the SpitJack restaurant for the first time and it was our team Christmas dinner. Reservations team : Very good response from the team. We had specific meal requirements for our team members and SpitJack reservations team were conscious about it and managed to arrange it for us. Reception / Dining team : SpitJack welcomed us warmly and did a great job by organising a nice private cosy room for our entire team. Food: All their food items including their set menu was yummy. Vegetarian and vegans options are awesome as well. They have managed to provide us Halal meal requests also. Ambience and service: Their room is just perfect size and kept warm with clean, neat and nicely lit room. They had a specific time for our appointment since it’s Christmas time. But they did a perfect plan for starter, main course and desserts. Their drinks menu is also very good. We will definitely go back again shortly. Kudos to the entire team. Keep up your good work.

Spitjack is a very relaxing place to have breakfast. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We ordered chocolate buttermilk pancakes and eggs Benedict on sourdough, both were delicious and perfectly done. To drink we had a chai latte and cappuccino again really nice. I think that it’s a little bit expensive for breakfast.

Wife and I went here last week for my birthday. Ming was a great waitress and was able to provide good recommendations. Tried their pork belly and thought it was fantastic. She was very attentive and did a great job taking care of us. My only complaint was catching a cook eat french fries out of the bowl that was being used for customer orders. Once he noticed we were watching him, he took the bowl in the back of kitchen to avoid being seen.

One of my all time favourite dining experiences. Every member of staff was attentive, polite and friendly. The restaurant has a unique style & story with rotisserie food that's got incredible flavour. Very generous portions add to what is already fantastic value. Highly recommended!

Have been to the Spitjack a good few times and always enjoy it. Their chicken Cesar salad is unbelievable. The last time I went I had their chicken burger and it was so delicious! My dining companion had fish cakes and said they were delicious also. Staff are so nice and the decor and surroundings are beautiful. They have adhered to Covid guidelines throughout the pandemic. Looking forward to going back very soon!

Came here on a Friday and ended up doing the three course meal. The French onion soup was fantastic, the pork porchetta with mashed potatoes was delicious, and the raspberry cheesecake to finish the meal off is my new favorite cheesecake. Food was great, service was amazing, and the building itself is really cute.

I heard great things about this place so I went here for lunch on my break. I got the pork belly sandwich with fries and a Coca Cola. The sandwich was tasteless and dry and the ketchup was far too sweet, it was like the ketchup you get from a takeaway. The Coca Cola was flat and I waited 35 minutes for the food. Now maybe I just got the wrong thing on the menu but I was very disappointed in the service and the food.

We popped in for brunch and now have found a new favourite. The staff were attentive without being hovering. The menu's selection was wide without sacrificing taste or speed. The surroundings were sophisticated without feeling snobbish. A true gem in Cork. What my partner and I really loved was the management. They were communicating regularly with the staff, getting hands on if needed, and genuinely there to support their staff. Honestly, it's hard to find folx that lead their staff and manage their tasks let alone as elegantly as they were doing here.

Ate here at around midday on a Saturday so relatively busy but got seated right away which was good. Staff were all very friendly and service was good. I ordered the Full Jack which is essentially a full Irish and was allowed to substitute tomato for extra mushrooms which was a plus. My friend ordered the vegetarian eggs Benedict. The food was tasty and it was clear that good quality ingredients were used which made it that much more unfortunate that the food just wasn't hot. Some of it was warm and others just cold, while my friend remarked it seemed like hers was taken from a fridge. The plates were not heated which seems like a pretty standard thing to do in any restaurant to ensure the food stays warm before the customer eats. Just a pity because the restaurant itself is quite nice and this unfortunately does let the whole experience down. Would be willing to try once more, maybe just a once off but a top tip would be to heat the plates. I cannot remember the last time I ate anywhere, for brunch or dinner and the plates were not heated to avoid this exact situation.

Saturday11:45am(12/09), it was not bad, we booked a table, we waited for 30 minutes, coming from outside. We ordered vegie and spitjack breakfast, sausages, juice and coffee, flat white was delicious. Everything was great, aside from the fact that we didn't get any butter, nor did anyone from the staff check that everything was okay. The problem arose when I wanted to pay the bill. I went to the counter to ask for the bill. The girl couldn't speak English at all. I asked a tall, thin, blonde waitress next to me. She came to the table with the tablet and was intrusive, she showed me with her finger that here I have the option to add a tip. I was freezing, always giving tips but this time not because I felt like an ATM. Lovely decor but staff should be more polite,

First time going and went for the ribs. Succulent and falling off the bone. Very tasty and more than enough food served so you won't leave hungry. Staff are super friendly. Only negative was the lemon posset desert which just didn't hit the spot, possibly the heavy jam instead of a nice coulis ruined it. Lovely spot regardless, clean and nice atmosphere

I ordered a family meal for 45euros on deliveroo for my family's dinner over 2 days and was missing a couple of things that I paid for. I found out the following day, called spitjack and left a message. Its been almost a week and never got a response back. Very very disappointed. Paid a lot of money just to get chicken and potatoes. Considering the times we're in not everyone can afford to throw money away. Don't waste your money or time!
