Without hesitation, this was the best dinner I have ever eaten. A 6 course taster menu that gets better and better, the service is exceptional, the staff are really proud of the experience they are giving, the courses come at the right rate, the attention from the staff is perfect and the food is exceptional. This was my first time eating in this restaurant, it was a gift from my wife and I loved it, the atmosphere was perfect and the restaurant is full of like minded people, we had a lovely chat with the people on the table next to us. Paradiso = paradise and I doubt you will find a review from anyone that hasn't loved the experience.

This is one of the best restaurants that I have ever been to. Not only is the food incredible, but what really makes it is the friendly and enthusiastic nature of the staff. There is a wonderful atmosphere in Paradiso and we had a fantastic evening! I even tried some “orange” wine for the first time, after the manager recommended it, and it was delicious. We will be back as soon as we possibly can!

This is my favourite restaurant in cork by far! I have been going there for the last 25 years (my mum used to bring me there as a treat when I was a teenager) and it’s still my favourite place to go all these years later. The food and service is unparalleled anywhere else. And you absolutely do not have to be vegetarian to enjoy the food! So please put this place top of your list of places to eat, you won’t regret it!!

I would definitely eat here again. I truly enjoyed each dish and was happily full by the end of the 9 sharing plates (but not too full). The service was also great with our servers joking around with us throughout the night. I'd be interested to try the vegan set course as well. For next time...

Great restaurant and food is always good. Having been a patron since its 1st year of opening I always enjoy my yearly visit but not 100% sure about the new set menu. Some of the dishes were taste sensations, others just average. Next year !?

Great spot for vegetarian food. I always wanted to try stuffed courgette flowers and they were worth the wait. Well suited for meat eaters and vegetarians alike (trust me) Layout of tablets is great as they are well spaced out which helps with social distancing.

Wonderful experience. No fuzz on the menu as it is one menu for the evening. Just need to advice them if any dietary requirements. In our case, the whole menu is made vegan for us. The restaurant is a vegetarian restaurant anyway. Attention to detail is outstanding. Staff (all of them) are knowledgeable to their food and wine list which in these days is rare. This makes a very enjoyable dining experience. Special mention: wine list is outstanding. Some small vineyards bottles that you are not likely to find elsewhere.

As a true meat eater but absolute lover of vegetarian food also, I have been trying to get to this restaurant with years. Unfortunately,could not convince anyone to join me as there was no meat option...until last night!This restaurant is fantastic. From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. The service is top class, and the food is incredible. I loved the idea of the sharing menu for two. This place is absolutely fantastic! Staying in Cork for work and took some vegetarian friends out for dinner as a thank you. I'm not a vegetarian but honestly wouldn't miss meat it was that incredible, both in taste and aesthetic, the food was amazing. The staff were super friendly and helpful, explaining all that went into each dish. We were there of a Thursday night but the atmosphere was buzzing, with an overall great vibe.

Overpriced. Dined here in late 2022 (amazing all around) and again in early 2023. While the food and service was yet again amazing in 23', the price had increased by 20 euro and the amount had reduced by approx. 30%. We initially got 9 courses and now got 6. We were hungry when we left. The food was excellent but I don't feel anyone should leave hungry at this price.

What’s not to love about Paradiso? Between the incredibly conscientious hosts, the diversely stocked wine selection (with ALL wines available by the glass), the thoughtful slide-away of the menu, and the beyond-delightful courses, I couldn’t find a single fault. I’m hoping to afford a night back here in the near future.

I live and France , and for years I raved about Café Paradiso unparalleled approach to vegetarian cuisine. I loved the complexity of each plate and the way colors, textures and tastes were combined into exquisite and creative dishes. I came back to Cork after two years and was quite disappointed by the menu. I t is good but the service by small plates to be shared does not lead to the refinement and creativity I was expecting. I t is more ordinary vegetarian cooking although I finished on a high note, the chocolate sorbet was incredible. Looking forward to coming back to a full menu.

Just back from the most incredible meal at Paradiso. It was the first time my husband and I have eaten out in over a year due to covid, and we could not have had a better experience. We have wanted to eat here for years, and it did not disappoint! The food here is exceptional, the flavours are incredible. Each dish is so full of care and thought. They also ensured the plates were dairy-free for us. The service is second to none. Stephen did an incredible job looking after us, and there were also two other ladies serving us who were both so lovely. We can’t wait to come back to Paradiso. It was absolutely worth travelling down from Dublin to go here, and we are already planning our next visit!

Fantastic food and atmosphere.

Such quality, in season veggie food. One of our party has a food intolerance and the waiting staff highlighted the menu for us to show which foods contained it and which didn't. The waiting staff worked with the kitchen to modify some of the food which was really above and beyond. I've never experienced service like it. The tasting menu is the best option and it was incredible. Will be back very soon.

My wife lost her sense of taste and smell in an accident a few years ago (well after we were married), and she absolutely loved the food. Great service. Great food. Highly recommend. If heaven was a restaurant this is it.

My partner and I come here every year for our anniversary (with the last 2 years being an exception and we've really missed it) - we were there last night and the food was the best it's been. We love it every year but this time it reached a new level. From the in-season vegetables to the charming and friendly staff we had a perfect experience. I was skeptical of the new sharing menu and not being able to choose your dishes but we both really enioyed getting to taste every dish. There was nothing that wasn't delicious. The two asparagus dishes were our favourites with the vermicelli noodles being a close second. Were really looking forward to the next anniversary but hopefully we can bring other people along before then.

The food here is insanely good. And the staff is very kind and helpful. I'm not a vegetarian myself and this was one of the best meals I have had. Highly recommend!

We still feel that higher management (here’s to hoping the FoH guy wasn’t higher management) should be made aware of how we were treated.* We were excited to check out this place because of how good the reviews are. After we enquired about a table for two the front of house man who was on shift around 5.15pm condescendingly informed us that it was a minimum of 65 euro a plate. He did this in the same way someone would break some bad news to you, it was as if he was saying were no tables available at all, heavily implying to us that the menu was out of our price range. Without going into detail this was the first day of our holiday and well within our budget so it wasn’t a problem at all. The issue here is that it was assumed by the guy that we were too poor to dine there, whether that was how we dressed or sounded, he met us with hostility and suspicion. It was pretty shocking and put us off straight away. We turned and left as we didn’t feel comfortable eating somewhere where the staff unashamedly cast assumptions about peoples’ finances. The dress scene in Pretty Women immediately came to mind. We feel lucky to have avoided eating there. I can’t imagine how this would have made someone feel if they were insecure about how they dressed or sounded. We’re not sure why the guy couldn’t have been more tactful with letting us know the cost, he really couldn’t have been more unabashed with his bigoted supposition. A real shame.

For some reason Google thinks this is a hotel! It is not it is an amazing restaurant. I do deliberately not say a vegetarian restaurant, this is my favorite restaurant in the world. I am not a vegetarian. The food here is unbelievable what they are able to do with simple boring ingredients is amazing. What is even better is they are all reproducible at home. The range of cookbooks are fabulous. I have most of them from the very first 'yellow' one to the latest 'turnip' one. I make at least two meals per week based on Paradiso recipes!

The most excellent meal I have ever had. Came here for a special occasion and it was exceptional. We had an incredibly attentive and charismatic waiter Steve which made the meal a feast and added more colour to the array of flavours which we tasted. I shared a wonderful experience in Cafe Paradiso. From the moment we stepped in off the street, we were met with a feeling of welcome and warmth. There is a real sense of care and thoughtfulness gone into every aspect of the design from the decor, to the furnishings and table ware. The sound scape and acoustics have been well considered too, with ample sound absorbing surfaces and textures. The sound does not bounce around, making it a very pleasant space to be in, even on a busy night. Service was great. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The menu was a treat; a journey through tastes, textures and pairings which were unfamiliar but worked beautifully. A real adventure for the taste buds! Would highly recommend to all: whether vegetarian or not!

Paradiso is a gem in corks culinary Crown. The tasting menu is always unique, fun and delicious. A few dishes tonight were exceptional and the service super as ever.

All vegetarian restaurant with great vegan alternative for everything. Food was amazing! However was quite displeased with the waiter. For our first course we had an amazing waiter who was friendly and explained everything thoroughly. However for the rest of the meal we had a male waiter who was very short with us and would say little to nothing when they came to the table. While the food was great I was disappointed by the service given the high price point of the restaurant.

Both me and my non veggie boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here. I had the satay starter, feta and couscous cake for main and the chocolate and chili mousse for dessert. A wonderful and extensive wine selection too. Beautiful food. We were served by the very friendly and helpful 'Maria' 😄 I will definitely be back.

My only complaint would be that i wish the mains had a little bit more of a substantial texture to them but that's only if I'm being really, really picky. Great cooking throughout.

An absolutely fantastic place. The food is awesome and real (not this typical all kinda same taste vegan/vegetarian food), the atmosphere is cozy - like a living room. The people who are working there are absolutely genuinely kind and customer- focused. Although we were almost the last people that evening they organized some furniture for us so we could smoke outside. We tried to go back the next day, but they were fully-booked. 10/10!!

If you are a meat eater you will not feel deprived in any way after eating at Cafe P. It's both mine and my husband's favourite restaurant in Cork and he likes his meat normally! The food is always delicious, seasonal, a treat to look at, and healthy ... what more!!

Probably the best food I've eaten in Cork. Very fresh ingredients, full of flavour and relatively healthy. Early bird is good value. The only downside is that they don't allow children, not even small babies, which means we won't be able to go back for a long while.

Absolutely in love with this place! The dishes are stunning, creative and delicious. So hard to decide what to eat. I drove all the way from Dublin just to eat here after a client was raving about it. Everything was so fresh and locally grown, much by themselves. I even bought the cookbook and have enjoyed trying some new dishes. The staff are really helpful and friendly.

Food is nice but not worth the price, service was bad too considering how much you pay. Kitchen very loud, waitress drying and putting cutlery away making so much noise.

Overall, great food. A little disappointed that there weren't more thoughtful vegan options considering the whole place is already vegetarian. It wasn't clear on the menu and we were given the modifications they'd have to do. That being said-they were more than willing to help and SUPER friendly.
