It was our first time in Cork and we wanted seafood. We decided to come to this restaurant and I was glad we did. The staff was friendly and professional. Our food was fresh and delicious. My favorite was seafood chowder, I told my husband I can eat it everyday.

Great place! The restaurant interior is really cool - industrial style but cozy! Food is amazing! We had shrimps for starter, salmon and crab claws for main and baileys cheesecake for desert. Everything was delicious! Very friendly staff! For sure we will come back! MUST-EAT in Cork :)

Fantastic service, fantastic food, walked in for lunch for a table of five without a reservation at lunch and were seated immediately. Food arrived quickly and was cooked perfectly. Our group had some allergens which were dealt with efficiently and professionally confirming the allergies were not present when presented. Atmosphere is hip and venue is beautifully decorated. Bathrooms were immaculate, although a door foot handle was not present. The entrance on Oliver Plunkett Street used to be a betting shop so delighted that this has been replaced with something so positive.

This is by far the best seafood restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. The service was great, there is plenty of outdoor seating and the seafood is unreal (and reasonably priced!). We had the seafood chowder, mussels (highly recommend), fish and chips (massive) and crab claws. If you like seafood, you definitely need to go here.

The food is amazing! We loved the option to choose the fish for the fish & chips. We chose hake and that was one of the best we’ve had so far. Price is very cheap for the quality of the food. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We will certainly come back!

I had dinner here with my husband for our anniversary. Very fresh and delicious fish, plenty of choices. Very good service and the correct price for the quality. Right in the middle of the city center, nice location. Check out always for the special of the day.

Recommended by our hotel reception. Fabulous little find with an excellent choice on the menu. The 'ordinary' fish and chips were slightly greasy on the batter, but still a nice meal. Other meals we had there were just super. Excellent service. Well worth (several) visits

Superb! The food was incredible. The parking is a little tough, but where is it easy? The crab claws are incredible, as was the sticky toffee pudding. Food is outstanding.

Nice spot for seafood in Cork city. Quinlans are also fish suppliers so you know the fish is going to be of good quality. Great you can get different types of fish with your fish & chips. Outdoor seating as well.

Really nice seafood bar. Leah our server was very friendly and a great help when it came to suggestions. The food was top class. The crab claws were sold out when we arrived so we will have to come back to try them next time.

Too bad that this place was recommended by one of my friends and I didn’t like it at all. The seafood food didn’t taste fresh to me at all. The Thai fish cake is way too sweet and didn’t have enough lime leaves flavor. The crab claws don’t taste fresh at all. Others dishes are just ok. Service is really. We waited for ages before our main course we’re served.

Loved it, what a beautiful seafood restaurant, planning our next trip to Cork around this restaurant 🥂 congrats to the owners on putting on a cracking display of Irish cuisine. Sea bass risotto - 10 out of 10 Scallops with parma ham - 10 out of 10 Crab meat starter - 10 out of 10 Salmon main 10 out of 10 Service 10 out of 10 Staff 10 out of 10 Definitely in my top 5 favourite places I've eaten over the years, very accommodating staff, price was on point and the staff were very informative. We will be returning very soon, I've so much more I want to taste on the menu 😋 Edit : return date set, cannot wait. I'm making sure I'm going in hungry and thirsty 😋

Everyone enjoyed the fish and chips. Hot and delicious and fresh. The seafood chowder was amazing. I’m on the hunt for the best seafood chowder in Ireland and so far this one is winning. Super hot, packed full of fish deliciously creamy.

By far the best seafood we’ve ever had. The bursts of flavours in every bite. Enjoyed 2 nights of dining. Would have stay longer just to eat there again. Great cuisine. Bravo to the chef!

❌Do NOT miss a great seafood experience when in Cork at Quinlans Seafood Bar. ✅ Casual We just came from our 2 hour road trip from Dublin and needed someplace casual and we found it ✅ Freshly caught The first step through the door, we were hit with the delicious seafood aroma that cannot be mistaken with anything else than fresh out of the sea ✅ Friendly Latisha and Rita are amazing servers and made our experience even more memorable

Called in for dinner on Tuesday night. Scallops to start and prawns for main course. Lots of flavour in the prawns. Scallops just slightly tough, hence the 4 stars but still quite nice. Staff very friendly and prompt. Would definitely call in again when in Cork

Got the sizzling crab app and it was tasty, also got the fish & chips, very good. We were given 2 menus with 2 different price points and were told the more expensive menu was correct lol. There was someone singing outside and they were ok, but their music choices sometimes conflicted with the music in the restaurant…

Quiet restaurant where everything was strike A. French dessert was the real one cooked the right way, tuna sashimi was a discovery remembering the Mediterranean beef carpaccio turned seafood asian like. Start to end everything was delicious a it leaves a great memory

Best Fish and Chips I have ever eaten. Lovely and efficient service. Cozy atmosphere. Good price relation.

Good food, friendly staff, and was able to get seated immediately outside, saw multiple dogs so can be dog friendly. Indoors was all reserved. Scallop appetizer was lovely, but only got 3 so felt a wee robbed. We got the crab claws and salmon, both good. Not the most memorable thing I ate while in Cork, but still had a good time.

Love the vibe of this spot. Looks small from the outside but comfy, spacious seating inside. Food and service were great. Would go back again the next time I'm in Cork!

This looked like a really interesting restaurant and it looked quite busy. However we we moved to an after lunch area that did feel as nice. We ordered the Thai fishcakes, fish and chips and a prawn pasta dish. I have lived in Thailand for 15 years and was dining with my wife, the fish cakes were just that, fish cakes. The word Thai should not be there. One of them was like warm in the middle, possibly cooked from frozen. The fish and chips was nice and the pasta dish was ok, not great, just ok. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would eat there again however.

Ate here on my first night in Cork. We didn't have a reservation, but they were able to accommodate us fairly easily. Ordered some drinks, the Scallops, the Pan fried Tuna, and the Fish & Chips. One individual kept coming by checking in on our meal and drinks. We found out later that she was the manager of all Quinlan locations, and during a few spare moments, she explained how they get their product locally. Needless to say, the fish and chips were some of the best we had, and the Tuna steak was well executed. If I'm back in the Cork area, I'll definitely make another trip here (or one of their other locations)

We went here recently for food. I had the fish pie and my wife the mussels. Both were so good . Manager apologised for the slow service as they were a little short staffed, however we had found the service A1 and got served quickly. Definitely come back here again 👌🏻 second time eating here and both times were excellent. Easy to see why the place was constantly full.

Great little chippery in the heart of Cork. Everything was fresh and tasty. Besides the fish & chips, try the crab claws with an amazing garlic butter sauce and perfectly done sticky toffee pudding
