Fabulous fresh falafel and veggies . The meal deal is really good and filling . Loved the cauliflower fritters.

This was my first time in here and it was fine but I don't think I'll be back even though there was some things on the menu I'd like to try. My own wrap was fine, the wedges were fine but my wife's Baba Ganoush was just disgusting. The thing is, I'm not sure there was anything wrong with it but the taste just didn't suit my wife or myself. Maybe it's a cultural thing for foods from different countries but it just wasn't very nice. There was also very little available of a glued free nature and even the bread that came with the Baba Ganoush she couldn't eat. Plenty of vegetarian options and the soup looked really good but just not for me.

Food was fine, service okay, but what concerned me most of all was that there was no soap in either guest toilet, so I checked the staff toilet to wash my hands there and there was no soap in there either. Pretty disgusting. Do you really want people making your food with their unwashed bathroom hands? 😑 Gross. Come on team Umi. Be better.cork

We Ordered “meal option 2” but there was a confusion with the young girl who gave us a wrong meal twice apart from giving our own meal. Not only was she rude but she kindaa blamed us and gave us that extra meal (which was surely pathetic) as if she was doing a favour. While I liked the food but staff behaviour needs to change. Please check the receipt & then serve food to people seating in outside area if you have so much confusion as people like us who are new to your restaurant or trying new cuisines might not know. That said behaviour needs to change as she was unapologetic and said “ You should communicate” we felt rude & might not return again even though we liked the good

My first time there after reading some great reviews. They were all right. Food was really good. I had the Lebanese falafel with chips and coke. Soooo good and filling too. I was there for lunch. I'll be back to try other things on the menu for sure when I'm In the city again.

The best in town!! Has your chef changed? Whoever is cooking for you now please give them my appreciation. Your food was good before but lately is even better. It went up a level. The Palestinian wrap is super delicious and so is the lentil soup and I love your baba ganoush. Well done. Keep your chef because he/she knows what he's doing and he's cooking from the heart!

I didn't like the service very much, I'm learning English and I didn't feel they had the patience to explain the food to me. In a country where many come to learn English, I hope they get better at it. The food is delicious, I recommend it. Good vegetarian food :)

Mind blowing flavours served in a take-away format. This food is good enough to be served in a high end restaurant at three times the price. Staff are loveley.

The Umi plate for two is a great value. Loved the Falafel Bites. The Stuffed Vine Leaves and the Couscous salad was fine. The only item I didn't like was the Hummus, I usually do fine with food without a lot of salt but this one was a bit disappointing for me. Also, the bread is not entirely covered when they deliver it which I understand is to prevent moisture build up but probably should improvise on the hygiene aspect.

Umi falafel is a very nice place right in the centre of town. My favourite vegetarian restaurant in the city, has lovely food and service is very prompt. A meal is 12.50 which is great value for money and well worth the money. Enjoy the food each time I'm there :) Definitely recommend

Very tasty and affordable vegan/vegetarian food! You can choose from a variety of dishes or put together your own falafel wrap/pocket. Furthermore, you can choose 1 out 4 meal-dealz for under 10€ which include a main + salad/soup and a drink. This place is highly recommended!

This place is great- food is cheap, serving staff are friendly, and anyone who can make tasty, not dry falafel (as they can) is a legend in my books. Only detractor is the baklawa is not good - Izz café have better desserts in that regard. Not enough syrup - too dry

Very good food! Very filling and tasty! I don't frequent vegetarian places that often, but the food was just amazing. I got the Lebanese falafel wrap with wedges and my partner got the Halloumi wrap with wedges, both were incredibly flavoursome. Will be returning again.

The food is good value for money and we were served quickly. The restaurant is perfect for vegetarians A quiet and calm atmosphere but not exceptional, the ballet of couriers coming and going in the restaurants is sometimes disturbing but it shows that they are successful

Tasty, quality food. Friendly staff, rapid service. Palestinian falafel sandwich was delicious! A must visit for vegans/vegetarians. Our toddler was very happy with hear meal too!

  • 4/5 Brian S. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice food; the lentil soup was authentically Lebanese, served with a wedge of lemon. Falafel was slightly over cooked for my liking but still very nice. But……..please turn the music down- it’s too loud and a bit overbearing.

Amazing interior design. Small tables and hard chairs, but still comfortable. Quirky atmosphere. Falafels have melted cheese in the middle and definitely the star of the menu. Extremely reasonable prices

Really delicious, healthy food. I would highly recommend it. Especially for vegetarians, which I am not, but very enjoyable all the same. We will definitely be returning another time.

I liked this place and would come again, I wished there was more comfortable seating. But other then that was really nice and food was good.

Healthy food, decent seating and great service. Could be improved with providing more vegetable options. Will definitely recommend to try this place.

  • 3/5 Mark G. 1 year ago on Google
Overall decent but mixed review because of consistency. Their falafel is sometimes very good but sometimes the vegetables inside aren't that fresh (eg. mushy tomatoes) or the sandwich falls apart so I don't order it much anymore. Also, the sauces could be improved.

Best Falafel in town, don't miss this place! We got the vegan plate for two for 18 euros and the food was super delicious and filling as well. We had the taboule salad option, highly highly recommend!!

Incredible service! They're always very quick, even when there are many customers, and the food is truly God-tier. Never knew that a vegetarian restaurant would satisfy me this much. Thank you for existing, for real

I entered Umi Falafel on late evening, tired and frozen, a little bit brainless. In fact, I really wish I had a brain. I asked if they can feed me concidering that am vegetarian and also allergic to gluten. The waitress pointed on the board saying - pick from this category, I look into the direction he was pointing at, and couldn't make a choice. What's your best? - I asked without much hope in my voice. The cook who were close to the counter helped me make my choice, simply asking for my likes and dislikes. I felt looked after, sat at the table and served food with emphaty and sympathy. The food was amazing, so good, that I didn't even make a picture of it. I have a great memory of this place.
