Always had a good experience when visiting Wabisabi. The foods that we had were always great and the portion is generous too. Last time, we visited during lunch time and they have amazing choices for lunch sets. This time, we had a sashimi boat and it was great and taste fresh!

The staff is quite rude in the restaurant. Everytime I come to wabisabi and ask for water I have to repeat asking for water multiple times because they don’t bring it. Another time raw chicken was served to my mom very disappointing as I wanted to take her to a nice place to eat. My friend wanted to sit-in yesterday with her family (3 people total) and one of the staff said no, she did not follow up with a reason as to why she could not give them a table to sit at even thought there was a free table by the sushi counter. I am very dissatisfied with the customer service everytime, always having to repeat myself for water, and the staff takes down the wrong order sometimes too. Once I asked for kimchi soup with no prawn, and I got served kimchi soup with prawn. Although the food is tasty, the staff are not friendly. When I came with my friend who knew the staff, they kept coming up and talking with her, It was quite uncomfortable as I wanted to spend time with my friend and not be disturbed by the staff.

Lovely place! Just we weren't lucky to be seated near the window and it was so cold :( I felt the wind blowing on my hands and legs that made me shivering, hehe. We had to wear our winter jackets on to be able to finish the food. Thanks to a girl who came to us 3 times to refill our cups with hot green tea :D A bit disappointed about sushi - too much rice! Too many shrimp tails... But seafood ramen was excellent, as well as green tea ice cream and cotton cheesecake - best desserts!!! The restaurant was full of people even on Monday evening so pre-booking is recommended. Overall I would come back again, nice place and food.

Excellent meal. The udon dashi base soup has all the umami flavor you'd expect from an authentic Japanese restaurant. Sushi portions are decent as well for the value. There's a good variety of dishes from noodle soup and yaki noodles.

This is one of my favorite restaurants (Japnese ) in cork so far.. I loved the taste of the food served with tea on a regular basis by the staff serving the food . The view from the window is too good and the atmosphere around.. Try the seafood kaizen yoko Saba ( fried noodles ) with sea food and for a starter tempora and sushi platter if you are two in number Ginger pickle is topnotch #Wasabi #Food #Japnese #Sushi #Noodles #Beer #Yoko Saba #Cork #Ireland #Tea #Wasabi #Wabisabi #GingerPickle

First time visitor. Lovely atmosphere and staff are polite and attentive. Food was nicely presented, prepared and very tasty. Would highly recommend. Fresh produce cooked to perfection at a reasonable price. Staff were nice enough to box up leftovers

Lovely place and tasty food. The portions are definitely great. The chairs are kind of uncomfortable. They bring tasty chocolate with the check.

Nice place for sushi. They will give a complimentary tea for drink when you dine in. A good place for ramen too if you are craving for one.

They serve green tea like water. And the plating and quantity is really good. Very asian vibes✨ You've got to try the crepe cakes and plum wine. There's a wide variety of food options which is really good whether you're a newbie or familiar with Japanese/Asian food.

Arguably the best ramen in Cork and I've been coming here faithfully for a year now. The Tori Karaage Chicken Ramen is my personal favourite, a staple if you can appreciate spicy, tasty broth. The service is somewhat iffy, some days staff are quite rude but if you're willing to look past it, the ramen is worth it.

Food was nice but not amazing, the noodles were a little bland. Kimchi soup was under the vegetarian section but had fish in so wasn't vegetarian. The service was very slow. 3 tables who came in after us got their meals before us! I think we were forgotten. The atmosphere was a bit canteeny. I don't think it was worth the money.

100% recommended I generally don’t like Japanese food, but I can say that I have turned now after coming here. The best Japanese I have tried so far in my life. 😊👍🏻

This is located upstairs and we hardly brought our baby buggy in. Food was nice but not the best. The staff was friendly and supportive. We were there on a holiday and it was busy there. We even had to wait for a table.

Have visited Wabisabi 3 or 4 times now and it’s always been great! Tasty Japanese food and good value for portion sizes. Their gyoza, ramen bowls and katsu curries are great. The waiting staff are attentive and as a bonus there is complementary green tea! I would advise to call ahead and book on weekend nights as they do get very busy and walk ins aren’t always possible. Highly recommend!

Excellent meal, service was great, would go again. We got the spicy seafood chahan, squid karaage, and gyuniku sirloin beef. The chahan had plenty of seafood and was presented very well. The squid was perfectly fried, crispy outside and tender inside. The beef in the ramen was a bit tougher than expected but still lovely overall. Would highly recommend this establishment.

Wabisabi is one of my family’s preferred restaurant in Cork when we want to eat Japanese food. The pictures below are chicken teriyaki yakisoba, salad, fried squid and fried rice, but all of their menu are great. Another favorite is the Tonkatsu Curry and the Bento Bix

It was busy lunchtime, but service was good. My third visit here and I always happy with the foods and prices are reasonable.
