What a moment to be alive. I feel blessed to be able to coexist in the same space and time as this restaurant. Pedro Hennessy did a great job! Really enjoyed the burrito he prepared for me. It was huge! Me English is not so good, so it was a plus that I could talk with him in Spanish. Made things much easier.

This is our go-to healthy lunch place. I love their Burrito bowl with pulled pork 😍. Prices are also reasonable. And most importantly they are available on deliveroo

Not great, stick with boojum if you're looking for a burrito. It's expensive and you get a tiny portion, and the rice is really overcooked and stodgy. Me and my friend ate here yesterday (both veggie chilli option) and we have had stomach problems since... I cannot recommend.

I ordered veg Nachos, which was disappointing. The guac had not many flavors except salt. I had huge portion of beans and cheese, which when heated made the nachos too soggy. The sour cream and veggies were fresh but again not many seasoning going on. My Partner ordered pulled pork burrito, where he said the pulled pork was rubbery and rice felt a bit uncooked. Also the nachos are too thin. The atmosphere , service is definitely good. I do not like to give bad reviews, but this time it felt my money was not well spent.

I love this restaurant. I eat here regularly. The ingredients are fresh & great quality. The staff are always lovely. I highly recommend Zambrero. In addition, Jessica recently gave me a very generous voucher for the Christmas raffle of Don't Give Up Homeless Group. Many thanks!

An absolute disaster this evening. Driver couldn’t use his GPS so returned my food to the restaurant. The restaurant don’t want to deal with it so I had to contact deliveroo, who cancelled my order and refunded me . I then reordered and slightly changed my order so it would be made fresh . But no they decided to chance it and sent me the original food which by now was cold and soggy, obviously didn’t look too closely at my new order missing the change I’d made . Again the restaurant don’t want to deal at me so I have to ring deliveroo again and explain everything again and wait for another refund. So I’m now €50 out off pocket and have to wait 10 days for it to be refunded and no food . Minus 1 million on customer service

The chief burrito technician, Peter, makes an outstanding burrito. A pristine example of the mexican cuisine experience. Overall, a beautiful moment of which i will cherish forever. I love you so much.

i ordered a small burrito, i didn’t really get many pinto beans, it just seemed like they put the gravy of the pinto beans. the chicken was not much either, but it was marinated well. it was around 9€. you get what you’re paying for i guess.

Maybe the best burrito in Cork. Saw some reviews here complaining about serving sizes but, as at September 2021, I can tell you that the burritos are hearty. If they were any bigger then they’d be too big. Love the black rice and the optional crushed tortilla chips. The chipotle sauce is a winner. The spicy options are also legitimately spicy, but not overwhelming. The tomato and red onion salsas are the business too.

Left standing waiting for 20 mins looking at their Zambrero store of the trophy,while a very understaffed (two people) catered to 3 different delivery systems and once I thought I was going to get served, manager asked staff member to take care of a flipdish order first.So I left never to return again. If you treat in the flesh customers this way just open a dark kitchen so to save being rude in person. If this is the store of the year what are the rest like.

UPDATE: Decided to try again after a year. The staff were still delightful, however the portion sizes are laughably small for what you're paying & the food is just not very good honestly. When compared to other mexican places just in Cork, this place is pretty horrendous. original review: Staff were great. The food... is decent enough. However its pretty evident management/company have them using pretty tiny measurement spoons for each ingredient leading to a stingy meal to be honest. Probably wont go back because of this. Real shame. Over management trying to save every little penney, and losing customers edit: Just got around to reading their response XDXD See what I mean? Haha Naw I was already paying through the nose for what I was given, I definitely dont want to pay a real crazy sum just to get an actual meal. Always fresh ingredients, always very tasty. Delicious tortilla chip dips - salsa, guacamole, etc.

Stingy portion sizes. I paid €11.60 for a burrito bowl that wasn't even two thirds full.

We often come here for Ice Cream with the kids. We get great service and good vibes from Jess and the gang. You have very good leadership here and we really appreciate the attention they give the kids. It's a good spot

The food is really nice and the guy working there was friendly but I ordered online and they forgot both of my drinks and gave me beef in my burrito bowl instead of chicken. Disappointing when I had been looking forward to this food all day and spent over €40.

i went up to the icecream stall and asked for a cup with toppings… i was expecting it to be like the pictures….. icecream swirled over the top instead i was scammed by some bushy sloth looking bure and she filled the cup not even half way.. as if she was calling me obese. this is a fecking scam DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY GO TO TESCO AND GET A MAGNUM… 5.30€ for this piece of junk. i wouldn’t even feed this to my dog. i am SEVERELY UPSET with this. what if this was my last meal. what if i died and the last thing i ate was a sad excuse of a cup of icecream. i will not be purchasing again. rot in hell and die slowly if you do this. i hope this shop burns down and this sad excuse of an icecream stand goes down with it🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Not the first time and always nice to come back. The girls are quite friendly and serve pretty fast. Perfect size nachos and quesadillas.🤙

Stingy, small burritos.. No gluten free options when it comes to burritos either (real Mexican places don't use corn instead of wheat flour)

Waffle from the window is actually not served so if you were aiming for that you would be disappointed. Other than that nice place to eat.

Brilliant Food! The burritos I had were awesome and the service couldn't be better! The staffs were super friendly and helpful, would definitely visit again!

Food is lovely. One of the best burritos, if not the best in Cork. Bursting with flavour and packed to the brim is probably how I would describe it. Only issue is it came cold as a delivery but I feel this is down to the Deliveroo driver.

Liked the food, had chicken bowl and it was delicious. Fresh and perfect seasoning. Not a very big menu option but they have kid's menu/ small portions available as well. Would recommend

Called in last week to get ice cream as I always enjoy the burritos and was rudely told by one of the staff they were no longer serving. Opening hours say til 9 but this was before that. Turned me off as the service is usual excellent. Never had this issue before and think it’s unfair to customers they pick and choose when to serve.

Have to say I was quite impressed with both the burrito & a bowl that I ordered last Saturday & Sunday. All the ingredients looked & tasted fresh including their daily made guacamole. Both times I arrived late afternoon so can’t say what it’s like during busy times. But all my visits the place was clean and staff extremely helpful & friendly. Thank you Zambrero for bringing delicious Mexican and adding the feeding the hungry initiative!
