We
visited
Maryborough
multiple
times
for
lunch
and
afternoon
tea,
and
our
experience
was
a
mix
of
highs
and
lows.
The
front
desk
staff
left
a
positive
impression
with
their
welcoming
smiles,
professionalism,
and
well-groomed
appearance—exactly
what
you'd
expect
from
a
4-star
hotel.
However,
the
bar
service
left
much
to
be
desired.
The
overall
uniform
of
some
waiters
appeared
unkempt,
indicating
a
lack
of
proper
management.
It
was
disconcerting
to
see
some
staff
members
wandering
around
without
apparent
tasks.
The
slow
service
further
highlighted
the
need
for
better
organization.
During
our
afternoon
tea,
we
noticed
an
issue
with
the
flowers
on
our
table—they
had
visible
mold.
This
is
an
easily
addressable
problem
that
should
be
promptly
rectified
to
maintain
the
hotel's
standards.
On
a
brighter
note,
the
food
served
during
our
visits
was
excellent,
and
the
presentation
was
top-notch.
Despite
the
shortcomings
in
other
areas,
the
culinary
experience
was
a
standout
positive.
In
