🫤 Staff were really nice and the restaurant decor was really cool and comfy. Unfortunately found more than a few hairs in my food which disappointing. Would like to come back again to give the place another review, but couldn’t give more than 2 stars after finding multiple hairs in the meal. Good food and great service. The sea bass special with risotto and goat cheese was just right and well balanced.

Great experience at the River Lee! Beautifully appointed dining space, staff extra friendly, surprised us with a “birthday plate” at the end of the meal! Food really lovely, would highly recommend for a big group dinner or a chilled midweek catch up! Well done to all at the River Lee! Will be back :)

Delicious lunch served in upmarket restaurant. The set menu is expensive - 45 euro for two courses, 55 euro for three courses, plus tea or coffee. The Brunch - Lunch menu is much more reasonable, with a great variety of options on offer, with most main courses costing around 20 euro. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Recommended for that special occasion. Paid parking underground.

Wonderful setting & ambiance, sitting outside looking down on the river. The food was delicious, I had a pepper & courgette salad with a hummus sauce that was so creamy it was hard to believe it was vegan! And the service is absolutely first class, all the staff were warm and friendly, as well as attentive and professional, a hard balance to strike so even more impressive that all four staff I interacted with struck it with ease.

To start off, the restaurant looked great! I can't say much since we just went for drinks and a meat/cheese board while sitting at the bar. I was not a huge fan of what was on the board, mainly because it did not mesh too well together and one of the three meats was more like thick cut a lunch meat (tasted/looked much like pastrami). Also, It was pricer than other spots around Cork. Though they are upscale, you will get some hotel bar vibes, mainly because you see a lot of the hotel guests coming and going. All in all a nice spot but probably wasn't worth our venture out of the busier area.

Every single time I eat at the River Club I’m blown away by the incredibly progressional and helpful staff (shoutout to JP who did an amazing job serving us this weekend). We enjoyed their new Sunday roast and it was absolute perfection. The price for what you get is SO worth it- three different pieces of meat, 3 sides, 2 sauces and a fantastic experience. An absolute Sunday treat that you need to try!

Grill room at river lee club is only good to look at but the quality of food served is not the best. It was my daughter’s birthday and decided to book this place for dinner.honestly speaking the food tasted very bad and unhygienic except one main dish ‘whole dover sole’ which was served at last. ‘harissa gambas pil pil’ was served with digestive tract( did not devein)which could trigger severe allergy…..and was made in some smelly reused black oil.upon asking to the waiter why was this not deveined, he answered this is how Europeans eat. Not mentioning the name of the waiter. ‘Chicken karage’ had bad smell inside as I could see blood spots inside marination and smells terrible as it was not washed. “soft baked bread”was served without butter and not toasted or no dill as mentioned in the menu. It was a bad experience and our evening was ruined, in the process the general manager stepped inn and tried to fix it but if the chef is not talented and not of high ranking the GM’s efforts were not justified.also the waiters just drop the food on the table they are not trained to serve properly.i guess they are students hired for part time jobs but not trained.

Outstanding service! The hostess was the sweetest girl ever! The whole experience was simply perfect! Lovely atmosphere, delicious food! We truly enjoyed our dinner and would definitely come back! P.S. The separate vegetarian and vegan menu is such a thoughtful touch!

My friend and I dined in The River Club. The food in the Terrace was sensational to say the least along with the comfortable and aesthetic interior. But what really made the experience fantastic was the service! Our server Ruben Tareja was not only attentive to filling up our drinks and checking in with us all night but was so friendly, funny and engaging. We laughed the whole time with him and he definitely made the experience one to remember! I couldn’t recommend the River Club enough and hopefully when anyone comes to visit you get the pleasure to be served by Ruben! Eleanor and Theo :)

Fab cocktails, delish food, lovely atmosphere with a beautiful and comfy environment. Thanks to David and his colleagues for tending to us, providing honest and helpful guidance to select our ideal menu choices, and for the banter! It was our favourite meal/night out of our whole trip , and they really made a fuss out of us as it was our honeymoon!

Lovely atmosphere, great cocktails, service was lovely. But the food (at the Sanctuary Bar portion of the River Club) was somewhat lacking. Small lackluster portions for a big cost. Would recommend for cocktails, though!

One of the absolute best places in cork. Been here many times. Consistently excellent. Booking - friendly efficient Arrival - professional Service - it depends on who you get, some excellent some putting in time. Food - top class Price - expensive, top end, but appropriate Overall - a must

Had a gorgeous meal here last week as part of a graduation party. The food was delicious and came out hot (which doesn't always happen in hotels!) The service staff were excellent and nothing was any trouble. The room design is opulent and seating was comfortable. Would go again and would recommend. Only suggestion would be to have an allocated smoking area as gathering at the hotel entrance is not a good look.

Excellent food, fantastic standard. Great wine list, lovely ambience. Just what we needed. Cecile from Nantes was our Waiter and she was superb on so many different fronts.

A little bit pricy, but very good food and cocktails! Location is very fancy and comfy! If you're seated in the terrace, you will have a blanket included ( loved it!) Service is friendly and fast!

A wonderful experience. Comfortable dining inside and out. The ingredients are prepared in a way that allows them to shine without overly complicating the seasonings. The tomahawk is just enough for two, but order it slightly undercooked from your typical preference as it tends to be cooked one level up from the order as most places do in Ireland.

From the moment we were escorted to our table for cocktails before our meal by Tom, to the time we left, we were treated superbly. The staff we at all times attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was excellent and the food was delicious. It was one of the best dining experiences we have had to date. We will definitely come back to The River Club and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for somewhere in Cork.

A good restaurant, especially for dinner. Especially good produce. Courteous staff and a nice meal - especially if you are staying in the hotel.
