The hotel has a great location, near restaurants and transport. The staff was really friendly, giving many indications to enjoy the city. The breakfast was really nice and so were the pints at night. Would totally come back to this hotel. Really enjoyed the city!

It's a nice hotel. The staff were very friendly. We had an amazing view of the river and city from our room. The breakfast was alright with multiple options to choose from. The location is great as it's close to everything and a short walk to St. Patrick's street and most bus stops. There was some problem with the heater in our room as it would make some loud impact noises every 2 minutes, even while turned off and this impacted our sleep a bit. The overall experience was good and I would recommend it to someone going to cork and need to stay in a not too expensive hotel.

The staff were very polite and friendly put this is not a 4 star hotel. None of the rooms have air conditioning and the one window that does open , barely does so for safety reason. If there is no air circulation, how can this be hygienic? It was 15c outside but 23c inside the room. No air was coming in. The shower curtain did not look clean and no one did our room. However they did pass with fresh towels. I asked for two fans but that barely helped. Location is good to visit Cork and the breakfast was good

This is definitely not a four-star hotel, nor is it, as their description says, 'spacious.' There are a total of two small drawers, so don't expect to unpack, but there's no room for you to leave a big suitcase open, either (let alone the two that we had). There is no air conditioner, only a tiny AC unit left for you to plug in and run. You can't open the window more than a few inches, and their photo of the standard room is very deceiving - the round table is up against the wall and touching the 'desk,' and you can't sit in the chair without blocking the way to the window (and there's just the one chair) The bathroom is a joke as you literally bang the front of the toilet when you open the door, and they have a old, high-step-in tub about two strides in the door. There are no words for how utterly disappointed we were with the room and their incredibly deceiving advertising.

Stayed here for a night, staff friendly and welcoming. Rooms have everything you need, dinner menu is not great but breakfast is fantastic. Ideal for exploring cork city, attending hospital appointments as is well located. Parking is extra and only card payments are taken.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From the moment we arrived until we left the staff were welcoming and accommodating especially Julie on reception. Our only fault was our room was very warm .The desserts are fabulous, the icecream sandwich is huge..Breakfast is substantial and having the choice of chocolate muffins went down a treat for the smallest in our group. The hotel is so central to the city centre so it's very easy to walk everywhere. We will definitely be returning.

This really is a great hotel for exploring Cork. It's easy walking distance to shops, bars restaurants, bus stops and even the train station. The hotel was clean, the room was super comfortable, the staff were really helpful and informative and it had a welcoming feel about it. I would have scored this a 5 star, but the breakfast was quite disappointing. Had we paid the 14.50€ each required to partake I would have been even more disappointed. The first morning they ran out of brown sauce and there were no baked beans as it stated on the available produce list even though I asked. No big deal you say, BUT. The rest of the food was so dry it made it all so difficult to eat. The sausage, bacon, black and white pudding although tasty were dried up under the heat lamps of the buffet service and even the fried eggs were solid, so no solace there. Copious amounts of coffee and fruit juice (which were readily available) were required to swill it down. We ate at 9am, so most definitely not late to the party. Unfortunately the next morning exactly the same situation presented itself. Surely to goodness they could have sent a member of staff out to acquire these basic items. (Shops were less than a 5 minute walk away). A pretty poor showing for a hotel chain of this size. (The English Market serves an excellent breakfast for about the same price just 10mins walk away). Other than that, I would recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay again.

The Hotel is grand, I stayed here before a good few years ago. I stayed again last night. The place feels a bit unloved nothing has changed in all that time. The menu is poor with very little to choose if you are vegetarian. I got a pizza which was over done and hard like a biscuit. I couldn't get the attention of the staff and no one checked in with us to see how we were. The rooms are good and everything is clean. The location is perfect with just a few minutes walk to the train and bus station. The hotel is situated on the quays in the city centre and not far from the main streets for shopping and night life.

Very nice hotel in the Cork City Center! Staffed by professional, attentive hospitality staff. My only dislike was the mattress and pillows - very uncomfortable. Otherwise, well worth the stay.

Very family friendly. Nice big rooms. TV , fan and hairdryer in the room I stayed in. Very close to the train station (10-15 minute walk), close to several pubs , clubs and restaurants. Breakfast is served in the morning , in the form of a buffet. The hotel is a good price for its location and the amenities surrounding it. Beautiful view of the river Lee from most hotel rooms. There is an awful lot of traffic outside the window though , so if you keep the window open you will be woken in the morning to the sounds of traffic and cars.

Stayed 2 nights, very comfortable room. Friendly staff. Superb buffet breakfast. Great location, easy walk to shops, pubs, restaurants. A special shoutout to housekeeping. We often leave the "do not disturb " sign out in hotels as we don't require daily housekeeping. This is the only hotel ever that left a bag outside our door with fresh towels, paper products, and coffee supplies. Respecting our wish to not be disturbed, yet still supplying the items they knew we would would need. Very much appreciated!

5 minute walk from the main street. Nice clean rooms. Didn't eat here but some of my friends had the breakfasts and said they were fine. Doorman on overnight to allow access. Rooms at the back look over the car park but very quiet. Front rooms look over the river.

Excellent place to stay. River facing rooms where you can watch the activities. Restaurant is also good. All staff are very polite and friendly. I like the service from Aadra and David from restaurant staff and other as well.

This is an excellent place to stay. Alot if the rooms look down the river, where you can watch the activities. Trawlers boats ships and yachts are a constant attraction and source of amusement. Could not fault it

I stayed 1 night, travelling by myself, at a cost of 212 EUR not including breakfast (which I added at an additional charge of ~12EUR). The hotel is handy to the bus and train station, and within easy walking distance of the city centre. After 10PM, the doors are closed, but watched by a number of security staff who were amicable when I arrived after being out.

A great hotel. The location is brilliant, we had lovely rooms facing the river Lee. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was brilliant . The staff were absolutely fantastic and so accommodating and friendly and did everything they could to ensure our group had a great stay. Rachel at reception was just amazing. So kind, helpful and welcoming. Thank you to the team, we will be back again next time we come to Cork.

Great location, some rooms have a really nice view of the river. The only thing is there is a really busy road next to the room I stayed in and everytime a bus or lorry went by the room viberated. The staff were really friendly especially those in the restaurant both for breakfast and in the evening. Overall would recommend.

This was a pleasant stop on a 2 week trip to Ireland. We were here for 2 nights. After the first day a smell developed in our room. In 20 minutes we had 3 staff members, including the hotel manager, in our room. As soon as the manager walked in, she picked up the phone, got us a new room and helped moved our stuff. EXCELLENT resolution! The food was quality and the staff were the typical helpful lovely group you find in Ireland.

The rooms are standard but a little bit smaller than in some hotels around the area. Overall rooms could use an upgrade and de-cluttering, especially at current rates. The parking situation is also annoying but it is what it is... or isn't... Food at the restaurant is ok nothing to write home about and service is hit or miss.

I would like to compliment Megan Hegarty the Reception and Food and Beverage Manager for her excellent service and also her staff. The quality of the food in the restaurant is first class - particularly the full Irish breakfast- delicious! All in all a great experience- we will be back

Pricey! But, I slept like a log. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, in room 131, at least. The breakfast is very good too. The beer in the bar is reasonably priced. I'd recommend.end the hotel without hesitation .

Great location, friendly staff in every area. Room and facilities were quite clean, breakfast was very good but dinner was really disappointing. However, the bed was the worst we ever encountered in a hotel. Neither of us slept well and left with painful backs in the morning . Small double in room 310 is way past it's best.

Very comfortable hotel. Maybe a little too expensive for every stay, but once a year around St. Paddy's it's a great place to put your feet up. In addition, I'll give you three extra points: 1. Very good mattresses (usually run down and saggy in other accommodations. But at the Jurys Inn (applies to both Cork and Galway), the mattresses have always been very comfortable! 2. Sometimes my wife and I like to get two separate duvets for the same double bed (especially on Paddy week). Obviously, it's not always easy to get that across to the Irish. But that had worked out great after a call to the hotel beforehand. The only time in certainly 100 accommodations. 3. The location is of course also great, train station, bus station, river, north side and Oliver Plunkett St. with many pubs and restaurants are just around the corner.

Staff helpful but some didn't wear masks properly. Room needed some small repairs, two lights not working, bathroom door had to slammed closed, bath didn't drain at all while showering. Breakfast was lovely and service very good. Location is the best part but I would stay somewhere else next time. Staff opened my room door with out knocking and closed it again quicklyas I was changing and said nothing, luckily I was leaving that day.

It was a girly christmas nite away, 8 girls. From the minute we arrived at reception everything was fantastic. Checking in was soo easy,The receptionist was extremely friendly & helpful & advised us 2 out of the 3 rooms were ready so we could take them & get freshened up before we headed out on the town. Def recommend this hotel for value, friendliness, assistance, service & food.

An excellent hotel. Staff friendly and helpful, rooms are spacious, clean and have all you could want, including a roomy bath, fan and heater! Only one problem, grilled chicken and salmon were both on the menu as mains meals, but on each occasion we asked for them they were unavailable! (Plenty of chickens and salmon on sale in the English Market nearby!)

Lovely hotel and very central however parking is an issue with spaces very limited..couldn't work heater in bedroom.. seemed to be off room just needed boost of heat for an hour or so...tea coffee and bottled water in rooms which was lovely..bar food was really good and staff especially chantelle was very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was buffet style and was brilliant. All in all a good stay and we would reccomend it ....

No proper parking , we had to pay a small fortune upon leaving for the car park which is a walk from the hotel . The worst thing has to be the fact the hotel doesn’t take cash !! We didn’t bring our cards with us , I’ve never ever heard of a hotel who refuses cash . We couldn’t eat or drink in hotel because of thid(we didn’t want to in the end anyway staff were so cold) . They made us feel very below them because we were walking around hotel in our comfies(10pm) . Cash is king!!! Don’t give these guys your hard earned money , hotel around the corner take cash no problem.

Hotel staff from front desk to maintenance to restaurant were the best. All were friendly, welcoming, helpful, professional. I was pleasantly surprised at their genuine care and concern. My flight was delayed but hotel held my reservation and had my room check in ready as soon as i entered the hotel. They knew who i was. Amazing. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is quiet. I had beautiful view of Lee River. Location is great, 5-10 minute walk from central shopping center, tourist bus pick up spots, and train station. Very good breakfast. I only ate dinner there once, food was good but not spectacular. If i ever return to Cork, I’d definitely stay at this hotel again. It’s a jewel!

Excellent! Stayed for 3 weeks due to work, staff were amazing. I arrived early for check in, the staff could see I was knackered so did everything they could to get my room ready early for me. The bar staff were great, very friendly. Checking out was good, staff made sure everything was great for me. Hotel is 10 min walk to city centre, right next to a lovely river and very high cleaning standards!

Me and my daughter spent 3 nights in Jurys In , great location, great warm room with a beautiful view, great breakfasts with large selections and a super Christmas dinner. Rachel at the reception greeted us with a big smile and we got a room without any problems. very friendly atmosphere, I highly recommend! thank you to all stuff for a wonderful Christmas in Cork ❤️

Rooms were ok but the beds we not that comfortable. The road traffic was very loud as you had to keep the window open since there is no air conditioning. The staff was nice except not as accommodating as you would prefer. We asked for an extra pillow and was told no. What’s that about? Not a bad stay but could have been better

Reception staff/ lady very sweet, helpful, polite, sincere. She was on night duty and went out of her way to be helpfully. Hotel outdated, a bit shabby! I arrived at midnight, woke at 5.30 for a shower and left at 6.30 as I had a hospital appointment, it cost 200e for the room for 6.5hours.

Great location between the train station and the shopping street, about 10 min. on foot. Polite staff, nice breakfast. Our room was nice and spacious, but more attention should be paid to the dust in the room, it was not cleaned at all.

A beautiful hotel in the middle of Cork. The room me and my friend stayed in was a triple room. The beds were comfy, the room was clean and there was a kettle and TV in the room. It was a lovely room and there was a vending machine in the hallway which was handy for a quick snack. The bar downstairs had great prices and the seating was very comfortable. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel. Its very close to the train station as well so it was easy to get to.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! Kind and charming staff, clean tidy and neat rooms and a lovely all you can eat breakfast buffet! It didn't have much parking. But overall really enjoyed and would definitely come again!

We were overlooking the river and the traffic was loud but with the windows closed, you could barely hear the outside noise. Girls on reception were lovely and chatted away to you. Breakfast was really nice, and I heard someone complain that there wasn't much left to eat, but breakfast finished at 10am and this was at 9:55am, also it was the following morning of a big rugby match, hotel was very busy. Definitely worth staying here.

  • 5/5 Tracy M. 1 year ago on Google
Lovely hotel, beds comfy, though a small double, (we are used to a super king-size bed) they did have a single in the room too. food was really tasty too. Didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on that. Only 5 min walk from the city centre, would definitely stay again

  • 5/5 Steven C. 1 year ago on Google
Great location- slightly away from the noise of the city, on the waterfront, but still central. And right next to the bus station, in case you are doing any day trips, as we were. Rooms as you'd expect, and good value compared to its competitors. We didn't have the breakfast.
