After buying a sandwich and coffee CoMix Cafe Restaurant I was never more insulted in any restaurant: they refused to serve me a glass of tap water, offering only bottled water, which out of principle I refused. This is my first and last visit. Any restaurant that would refuse a glass of water to a customer who has bought food and drink does not deserve to be supported.

Hidden Gem!! Dropped into this place for a quick lunch with my wife and 2yr old was we were in the area. They do a lot of authentic polish food and Irish staples including an all day full Irish breakfast. My wife got the potato pancakes, I got the burger and we got the kids bowl for our son. All of the food was delicious and huge portions. The staff are super friendly too. Glad I finally stopped in here as it's a hidden gem! Definitely recommend! Prices were very reasonable too.

Busy restaurant offering authentic Eastern European food as well as Irish breakfast. Not a great location! A staff is a bit rude. Very big portions for a reasonable price!!

Breakfast expensive at €14.95. Overall not worth the price. High quality food but not so well served. Beans cold, black pudding overcooked. Fresh ground coffee very nice. Toilets dirty.... Amendment after reply from owner... on reflection considering owner comment, 14.95 is probably reasonable - it was a large breakfast and I'm comparing to City Gates Cafe on Bachelors Quay which is exceptional value for money. In answer to owner's q, I visited Comix this morning at around 10.30 a.m.

Had a nice chicken sandwich with chips last week. Frequented by Eastern Europeans. The menu was in both English and Polish. The food was very good and the staff were friendly.

Chicken noodle soup was very good and potato pancakes with pork stew were okay. Service was terrible though. The restaurant was busy this day and the front staff seemed like they were doing us a favour. No smile, no kindness, no thank yous. I was trying to erase their attitude and ignore it, even excuse it with how busy they were but at every interaction i got with the staff i felt like an intruder, not a guest. Cobwebs in the corners on the ceiling, and layers of dust shows the staff does not like to overwork themselves. Pity, I wished prior to going that this place would be somewhere I'd like to go back to but unfortunately it wasn't.

I got the 1/2 Irish Breakfast and it was not only a huge portion but also very tasty, especially the mushrooms. The place is very cozy, tidy and clean.

"The System is We like Over Price"!!! Bad value for money! Stealing from customers by over pricing and over charging customer's! Be careful what you order here! Their "System" is to over Charge you when you order a Irish Breakfast. I ordered a Irish Breakfast and asked what was in it before paying. My friend I was with ordered a Irish Breakfast and pointed out to me that the only thing different was a tomato that I got and he didn't. Then checking the receipt I realized I was over charged for a Full Breakfast which I didn't ask for anything extra or ask for any Full Breakfast just a Irish Breakfast and was over charged! I didn't say anything at the time of paying because I just thought it was inflation getting out of hand every day thing's is going up. But to my surprise this Cafe is Boosting Prices for what you order! When I complained the manager slipped up and admitted that their "System is to Over Price" is when You order a Irish Breakfast that they Charge You for a Full Irish Breakfast. Be careful!!! Ripoff Ireland is Back!

Food was very nice. 45 minute wait, no acknowledgment of the wait. It was busy but hungry can turn to hangry pretty quickly after 45 minutes. Have to say I didn't like the vibe there, it's got its clientèle I'm sure I won't be missed.

Food was delicious!! Its a small and busy cafe thus you will find it crowded especially in the weekends. We waited for a bit for a table, good thing some people are sensitive that they leave immediately after finishing their meal. The staff were great. Come if u miss Eastern European food. Recommend the goulash soup! Will be back to try more.

Perfect place for any meal of the day. Food is really good, fresh and portions are always very good. Price is also very good. Place is small and very busy at times so hard to find a table but you never wait too long for something to open up. Definitely recommend

Very good food, but one of us had to wait quite a while to be served. Does not seem to be a regular occurrence, but in our case, it happened.

Lovely little cafe behind Harvey Normans store on the kinsale Rd in Cork. Spotlessly clean, friendly accommodating staff and chef. Food was beautiful well presented and served by a lovely friendly female member of staff. The cafe caters for mostly the workers in the industrial estate where it is based we make a point to go there for a meal anytime that we are in Corks Southside District. The cost of living has as we all know driven everything crazy price wise but we thought that 15 euro was over the top for the full Irish breakfast. We go to other cafes for breakfast on a weekly basis to meet old friends and family members we have the same breakfast ie full Irish which includes an extra egg and fried tomatoe more than we got with our breakfast in Comix Cafe in Cork and it still only charges 11.95€ a 2 euro rise on its original charge of 9.95€. Why other establishments charge more than 11.95€ confuses.

I absolutely love their food. I usually get the polish dumplings which are delicious and the pork escalope which not only has a lower price that I'd have expected but it's huge. Definitely worth it 🙂
