Issac's
and
the
Terrible,
Horrible,
No
Good,
Very
Bad
Stay.
This
was
one
of
the
most
disappointing
hotel
experiences
ever
but
I'll
start
with
a
disclaimer:
the
location
is
great
and
the
vast
majority
of
the
staff
here
are
so
nice
-
helpful,
friendly
and
attentive.
They
made
the
stay
bearable.
The
shower
is
also
decent.
Now
on
to
the
ugly:
The
bed
was
the
worst
I've
ever
tried
to
sleep
in.
I
vaguely
recall
a
bunk
bed
from
Summer
Camp
that
might
have
been
on
par
but
I
was
twelve
at
the
time
and
sleeping
better
in
general.
We
stayed
in
a
'cozy
double'
which
means
tiny
and
cramped.
There
was
a
makeup
mark
on
one
of
the
hand
towels
and
a
hair
in
one
of
the
mugs
in
the
room
on
arrival.
The
radiator
click
click
clicked
and
something
in
the
bathroom
drip
drip
dripped
ALL
night.
One
of
the
morning
reception
staff
looked
like
she
was
being
forced
to
work
there
against
her
will
and
exhaled
audibly
before
answering
even
the
most
routine
questions.
At
breakfast,
they
ran
out
of
both
bread
and
croissants
and
served
rock-hard
scones
as
a
replacement,
which
were
definitely
more
than
a
day
old.
We
risked
dental
injury
eating
them.
Their
juice
is
of
the
synthetic,
long-life
variety.
There
is
a
€2.50
surcharge
on
cappuccino/latte
at
breakfast
and
the
alternative
is
bad.
The
gave
us
little
Bonne
Maman
jam
jars
which
had
been
refilled
with
cheap
marmalade
(I'm
pretty
sure
this
is
illegal).
There's
no
bottled
water
in
the
rooms.
If
you
request
it,
it
is
charged
at
a
whopping
€5.75
a
bottle
(!)
One
of
the
kind
staff
advised
us
to
go
the
bar
and
ask
for
a
jug
of
tap
water
instead.
We
reserved
a
table
at
9am
for
breakfast
for
our
group
of
6
and
they
asked
if
we
could
come
down
in
two
sittings
instead
-
2
at
8.30am
and
4
at
9am.
We
obliged,
only
to
come
down
to
an
empty
breakfast
room.
The
heating
system
has
two
settings
-
boiling
hot
or
ice
cold.
Their
parking
system
is
complex
and
doesn't
work
half
the
time.
The
parking
is
a
short
walk
from
the
hotel
and
they
provide
two
separate
phone
numbers
to
call
to
open
the
gates,
advising
"if
one
doesn't
work,
try
the
other".
The
numbers
don't
work
unless
you
call
from
the
phone
you
booked
the
space
with,
and
sometimes
they
don't
work
then
either.
Since
there's
no
third
number
to
"try",
you
may
just
have
to
wait
for
someone
to
activate
the
sensor
from
the
other
side.
I
wouldn't
stay
here
again
if
I
was
paid
for
it.
