Staff always lovely and friendly. I was here this time for the Cork International Film Festival and I also visited the gallery space. Glad to have time to visit and although the benches are not comfortable to sit down after a while, the entire space was comfortable temperature wise

Unusual place to watch a movie, the seats are originally church pews, they are now cushioned but become uncomfortable after about an hour. Also as this was originally a church the seating is not tiered do your view will be blocked by others. The screen should be raised to help alleviate this

The Triskel is a fine spit to pop in for a coffee, beer quick bit or beer in a relaxed setting. Also the entertainment there is fabulous. Whether a gig in the old church or a screening of a movie this is a great place for date night or to spend with friends.

Update: June '22 Great place to visit when there is an event on. The auditorium is quirky with the bum-numbing-est seats in Cork city, butt, I won't hold that against themπŸ˜œπŸ‘ When no event on you can visit the glass enclosed crypt for free, enjoy a coffee, and go for a free-weeπŸ‘‹ Nice little coffee shop attached to Triskel called 'Scrypt' Pleasant staff, great scones and other baked goods, there is also a small lunch menu. Toilets upstairs are spotless.

Last of jazz music a problem for me Good line up at cork jazz prices but these quality concerts are very costly at the extent of being prohibitive especially for people on a fixed income such as myself Why is the art centres cafe closed The bar was open during the jass festival and perhaps operated by the festival itself The cafe and bar has not been open for a few years now The cafe had super and good priced food It was a great place to eat and sociise and dance at the weekend What a pity that closed!

The centre itself is a magnificent venue. The acoustics were pitch perfect. Support was Cannith(?) and O'Reilly, their Christian names escape me just now. I'm a bit suspicious of instrumental only music in general and didledieye in particular but these men were creme de a creme (C fiddle, O'R box). Martin Carthy was an experience and, dare I say, an acquired taste. He is unique and long may he play his guitar and expose his voice to audiences.

One of my favourite music venues in Cork. Always something different on and the vibe is so cool. Seats are and always have been not the comfiest

Been to three films here so far and I have to say it's great. The staff always seem friendly and the film selection is great. The seating could probably be comfier - you do start to feel it by the end of the film - but it's not too bad, given that they were once pews. On which note, if it were busy I could imagine it would be easy to be caught behind a head because the seats are all on the same level. However, even at the busiest I've seen it, I still had a good view

From (classical, jazz or traditional) music to cinema, Triskel offers unique shows in a fantastic decor. One of the best venues in Cork.

Great Arts Centre, theatre and Cinema in the heart of Cork City. A really vibrant and eclectic programme of music, cinema and exhibitions. Housed in a historic building with its own fascinating stories, the performance space was formerly a church and makes for an amazing venue. Staff always lovely. It's a shame the cafe has closed, hopefully will reopen soon

Serious music venue. Good acoustics enhanced by sensitive sound engineers. Bar and snacks too.

Elegant venue for gigs and cinema. But be careful to not select a seat where emergency light distracts you.

Excellent sound and ambience for an intimate concert experience. Book tickets online as seating is limited but all seats great. Indoor and outdoor cafe available. Restrooms clean and roomy. Also was able to see free arts exhibit before a musical event- nice.

Gotta love this place! Very good selection of movies, wish there were more though hehe *hint hint. Anyway 10/10 would recommend to watch a movie at a church. Somehow good that the chairs are not super comfy so you can’t snooze off

I give up... Trying to purchase tickets online is impossible! So frustrating as I always love the Japanese film festival and live gigs! Why oh why can't you sell tickets at counter ...argh!

Stunning location we were there last night for a jazz concert. Steinway piano was extra special as was the musician playing it . As were all the performers fabulous evening .

Very friendly staff and great to have a cinema that shows films not seen in mainstream cinemas. And just love that they are putting a former church to some good use.
