The street of the Deck of Cards Houses remembers us of San Francisco. If you go to the closest outermost street you can climb a wall and take a cool self with the church and the colorful houses on the background or take a really nice shoot. If you walk around the neighborhood you can visit a small Titanic Museum and also take a boat to the Spike Island, which was a prison some years ago, it's known as the Alcatraz of Ireland, the visit price for adults costs 20 euros. If you walk around the harbour you are also going to find nice restaurants, so that you can try local cuisine, most of them serve dishes with seafood, it's worth to try.

Google has a location where you need to take the same photo they did on Spy Hill (Street). However, there is a 6 foot + wall you need to extend your camera over to get the same photo, over private property. This will give you the St. Colman's Cathedral as a backdrop. Where Spy Hill meets with West View, with a wide angle lens, you can capture most of the "Cards".

The streets of Cobh are adorned with charming, brightly colored houses that create a picturesque scene. The vibrant hues truly breathe life into the surroundings. While the steep hills may pose a challenge for some travelers, this sight is undoubtedly a must-see in Cobh. Given the city's compact size, you won't have any trouble finding it! Right alongside this captivating view stands a magnificent cathedral.

There is a little pocket park across the street from the houses. Go there for the best shot.

The deck of cards is as beautiful in real life as it is un the photos, what you don't realise from the photos is just how steep this hill is or rhe fact that it's practically cobbled, makes for an interesting drive down. What you don't see from the photos is the lovely little public garden about half way down.

For the view itself was amazing but for a basic camera user, it would be a challenge to capture the amazing scenery. plus, there was a tree covering the view when we were there. Also, it is a residential area that tourists need to expect the cars and bins on the street.

Point of notice for anyone like myself who has a Cardiac condition do not try to walk up the hill. Fantastic views

The city is very up hill, lots of hill roads, some are steep to even drive but manageable. There is a car park but I donโ€™t think itโ€™s needed as there is lots of free parking along the main church road. We parked here and ventured around the city. Very nice very relaxing, there was a musical festival when we arrived so plenty of stalls and food. You can get a boat over to another island.,

Quaint and charming! The deck of card houses in Cobh is a delightful glimpse into the town's rich history. These colorful and slender houses stand as a testament to a bygone era, offering a unique and picturesque streetscape. Walking amongst them feels like stepping into a storybook village, each house with its own character. A must-see destination that adds a touch of whimsy to your Cobh experience.

Always pass this place when I go to the train to get myself to work. It's incredible to see all those off the cruise ship taking photos of these colourful houses. I moved to cobh last November & I'm still in aw everytime I pass these beautiful houses & amazing views. I'm extremely lucky to live in this particular location. Love โค๏ธ the views & love โค๏ธ going down this particular hill with these colourful houses on display.

The 'Deck of Cards' houses in Kilgarvan, Cobh are delightful. Built on a steep hill, the colourful houses appear to be stacked. The rest of the picturesque town is also wothy of your time.

A wonderful attraction. It's great to sit on a bench for a few minutes and just relax. As mentioned earlier, for the โ€œclassic lookโ€, you need to go up to the street above, there is a fairly high fence, but with some skill you can remove this perfect shot

You want get the nice view of these houses in front of the church until they demolish the house that stands in front of them. In order to get this view and picture is by holding your camera above the fence line or holding a selfie stick up. There are supposed plans for the future to give a better viewing experience.

Absolutely stunning. This is a must see if you are visiting. It is a steep walk up hill and you have to look over the stone wall to see.

The Deck of Cards is row of old houses on a steep hill, with Cobh cathedral in the background and a lovely little park just off the road less than half way down the hill. Houses are painted in all different colours and is worth a visit as there are beautiful views all around โœจ๏ธ

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ We booked on the day and we're a bit concerned about the weather for our 12noon cruise which lasted for 3.5hrs. The weather turned and we had a lovely sunny afternoon and flat seas. Cost was โ‚ฌ23pp . As the tide was out we took a longer route to get to Spike Island , the trip back was a lot shorter...
