Great walk for family with kids. It's safe (no cars) and in the shadows. You can reach there by car or taxi or by walking (20-25 minutes from city center). You can rest at the marina market (eat, drink and more)

A great amenity for families and people wanting to exercise. Every Sunday weather permits a group of modellers meet and sail their model boats. These models are scaled down models of the real boats or ships and most would be scratch built from just plans. Well worth a visit to see them sail between 10am-12pm.

Known as the Atlantic pond a nature reserve home to many species of wildlife and surrounded by great walkways adjoining the River Lee and Pairc Ui Chaoimh there is open cafes parks and greenways in this location and is also undergoing work at present. This part of the walk way is an open pond with nothing protecting it so if visiting with children and pets caution is advised. It also has some fascinating history attached to it and on its creation and formation. Public Parking also close by. Got to love the name The Atlantic pond very fitting. When works are complete it should be a great addition to the new South Docklands and Blackrock Railway Greenway.

As the Atlantic model boat group we meet every Sunday morning at 1000hrs to launch our radio controlled scale model boats and ships. It is a great way to spend the morning with like minded friends and onlookers πŸ˜€

Beautiful spot. Definitely check it out! Just don't feed the ducks bread. Feed them vegetable cuttings or duck feed. So many lovely spots to chill out and watch nature

Nice enough for a walk but could be so much nicer. A lot of litter around the benches and the footpaths not in the best condition on the south side of the pond, two buggies would have difficulty passing each other in parts.

Lovely walk near the Marina. Lots of ducks πŸ¦†, swans and other wild birds to be seen here. Especially nice on a warm September afternoon.

Beautiful place to walk or just sit on one of the benches and listen to the sounds around. Was saddened to see that people had left beer bottles and box's thrown around and in by the bank of water. Common Occurrence unfortunately.

A great place to take a walk, run or take a cycle anytime of the year. It's close to the city and a good place to relax in with it's calm surroundings.

This is a public amenity, unfortunately the pond itself is a very neglected area. Still pretty in areas but not looked after. Nice for walking along, but do not feed bread to the birds! Plenty parking by Shandon boat club and The Marina, with parking areas in Blackrock Village also. For the infirm, it is mostly possible to park next to the pond right by Phairc Ui Chaoimh itself. More stars will be awarded when the area around the ponds is upgraded, but we are waiting a long time for that.
