Went here recently with friend to play pool and the lad upstairs wouldnt tqke our cash for pool sent us downstairs to the manager who was no help atall told us we had to book online even doh we had been there previously and had no problems tbh i think it was down to our ethnicity will not be return as felt very insulted and defamed

If I could give 0 stars I would, went their couple times me and my friends recently , went their today they said it’s bookings only for now on, customer walked in and was left up the stairs to play pool without booking and we where turned away , and when we asked the man did he book he told us no and when he went in she told him to say that he booked, lady working on the till is very racism, and very angry for no reason this place is not a place to go for a night out with your friends, very shaming and we feel very embarrassed tbh over what happend, please avoid at all cost!

Best place for birthday parties and a day trip 9d cinema definitely recommend Same with the bowling and ... Laser tag and play area Food is great There is a lift witch is very handy Great workers they all are lovely And ya a lovely place to go if bord for cheap 🌺😁

Nice place for kids, planty space, good menu good with nice prices. Just 9D cinema very poor quality need to b change beacous its so cool if you like fly or go on Rollercoaster. Staff very helpful and friendly 😊 🙂 ☺ 👌

The kids activity centre is a good spot to let the kids burn off steam on a rainy day… Activities in the kids playzone include 2 bouncy castles (for different age groups), 3 zones for differing age groups and a small electric kart track (extra charge - €2). The largest climbing area has a mix of climbing routes, slides and other padded areas. There is a balance beam too where kids can overcome their fear of falling. Separately there is a small (2m max height) climbing wall with mats. On this occasion it wasn't too busy (dispite being a damp Sunday afternoon). I suspect it's a bit crazier when there are lots of parties happening at the same time. There is free (reasonably fast) WiFi for the adults. Note 1 - the food offering is very poor. €4.50 for 3 cocktail sausages, a tiny portion of chips and a juice drink is not good value. The adult offering while better value is poor quality in my opinion (but they are going for cheap and cheerful here). Note 2 - Parking is very tight at the front of the complex (spaces are under-sized and turning is difficult). There are additional spaces to the side that have the same design issue but easier to get in and out of. There are 4-5 disabled parking spots at the front door.

I was there today with my kids, first time visit. I was very impressed by how well organised everything was. The staff were lovely, very kind and good natured. A great experience, kids can't wait to go back.

I come to planet world alot as I have a toddler boy who loves to run around. Well everytime I am here I have a bad experience of something. So I'll start from first. Put money into the paw patrol machine & it took my money machine wasn't working. My child was upset. With no warning the machine is broken.Then was using the vending machines another day drinks machine first used my card and it worked half way never let my drink out. Same happened the chocolate machines it moved but the chocolate bar wouldn't come out. I said to the girl check the camera if you don't believe me. Came in another day looking to order food while we were using the toddler area & they only said they were dealing with parties at the moment and that happend more than once. Then we got the food & chicken was like rubber. Barley any cheese or garlic over the chips. For the price of it. Sitting here today wth 4 kids and I went to ask for a jug of juice willing to pay for it and they said again it's only for parties we give them out. This was before we came in I spent 30€ outside after she said the timing slots wernt starting till 3. So I asked again can we just go in for the last hour as my toddler was upset to go in.she left us in after she explained it wrong to me. So spent €70 within an hour and I couldn't get a jug of juice only for parties. Spilled some water on my table and I asked for blue roll she couldn't find it. Other than the kids having fun and running. I wouldn't recommend it.

Great place to take kids of all ages. We went with kids aged 3-78 and all had a blast. The prices are reasonable, with the possible exception of the 9D cinema and the variety for little kids is unparalleled in Cork.

I like it. The manager is nice and the staff are good. Good prices too :)

I cannot recommend The Planet enough. I work in a special school and we went here on our school tour. From the very outset Denis was so accommodating. On the day all of the staff were so kind and helpful. They were so understanding of the different needs in the group. They asked if there was a need to adjust lighting and sound which was very helpful. They even showed us the bus stop for the way home in case we didn't know where to go. Denis also allowed us to exit through a side door to avoid crowds/distractions for the children when we were done. The whole staff were so accommodating and understanding. I really commend them on their awareness of differing needs. Thank you to all the team.

Due to the nature of my job as a social care worker, I and the teenagers I work with are frequent patrons at the Planet Entertainment Centre, in Blackpool. I want to use this medium to appreciate all staff members. We are always greeted with a big smile, they are always pleasant, and accommodating. I have nothing negative to say about the Planet and I can not recommend it enough. Thanks

We had my daughter's party there on 16th April and we had a lovely time. The kids enjoyed themselves and the food was great. Kelly was our party coordinator and she was so obliging and accommodating. We had previously been for another birthday and that was excellent too.

Great for entertaining kids or adults, great bowling area with bar and snacks available, pool and snooker tables all up stairs. Downstairs is a kids play area with various machines to play with ,there's also a 3D cinema with short movies that use movement of the chairs, wind blowing machine to creat a virtual experience

Fairly clean and well kept Lanes and equipment; all use able and reliable. Ample parking available onside, which is a big bonus.

Planet Entertainment is a great place. Very organized and tidy. The staff is very nice and helpful. Definitely an excellent place to go more times 😊

My son loves this place. Brilliant for Playing pool and bowling. And the Basketball practice machine 10/10

A nice indoor entertainment facility in Cork, definitely worth a visit on a rainy day. Contains bowling alleys, pool tables, an arcade, video games, and a soft play area for a range of ages. A tasty diner for food afterwards, reasonably priced and good quality food.

Went today with my kids, was told my son is too tall even tho he is as measured at home... on your board be the entrance he was measuring good 3-4cm over the limit even tho he is under the heigh limit ( measured twice by two different measuring tapes). Very disapointed boy with his brother and friend today.

Have had great nights out here. It's a great place to come too for fun.

I went to a birthday celebration at Planet yesterday with my 7-year-old and 6-year-old sons. There were plenty of activities that both children and adults could enjoy simultaneously. The 9D cinemas and games were particularly enjoyable. The only issue I encountered was that the balls were too heavy for the 7-year-olds, as they weighed 12kg. I would suggest including some lighter 6kg and 8kg balls for younger kids..

Had our sons birthday party at the venue, ten pin bowling laser Tag and 9d cinema. Kids had a great time 👌 Our host Kelly was excellent and patient, fair play to her.

Bowling lanes are awful, bowling balls hop down the alley like big rocks. €29 for an hour. Beware, they'll tell you they don't own the games downstairs, so any issues with them it's not their problem. Absolutely terrible!!!

Charging parents to come in an sit down is a bit excessive. Play are is great and good options for coffee. Arcade is cool too.

Came here for the soft play.. they said there is a huge ball pool in here but there isn't and it's definitely the worst soft play I've been in in Cork. AirTastic and the one by model farm Road are much much better

Wonderful staff and well worth the price for a party. Our little girl had a ball for her 8th birthday, highly recommend!

A good area for bowling and other fun activities. Very good behaviour of the staffs and very neatly kept place. They also have Play Stations, Snooker and gaming arcade as well.

There is plenty to do here, the pool tables are well kept but the ques are not brilliant, it would be a good idea to bring your own, the ten pin bowling is good as long as you get a working lane, if you don't you can be bounced around the place until you find one that works. The annoying thing is you are not given extra time to make up for time wasted. It seems to me the difference between an enjoyable couple of hours and an expensive waste of time is very slim but All in all if you go with some great company you will make it worthwhile.

This is a well run kids entertainment spot. It features bowling, pool, and a number of other activities for kids. It's well suited to children's parties and reasonably priced. I think the offer food also as part of a "party pack".

The kids loved the area but we couldn't get hot food till 3 o'clock we were there since 1 o clock Just tea and chocolate

It's Okay. However the bowling is a bit expensive as they are just hanging on to strings! it should be alot cheaper. Pay for like 30mins or an hour instead of 1-2games! Pool is 10euro for 30min that About 2euro every 5mins

Great facilities, cool bowling lanes, pool tables great food, good selection of arcade games for kids, friendly helpful staff.

Bowling lanes are ok, but not suited for professionals (a bit bumpy). Be aware that you need to prebook the laser tag and it is a minimum of 6 people.

Great place for birthday party , however small bit annoyed we were moved table and then had to ask for drinks 4 times, not staffs fault per say, it was just busy. Also forgot a meal for one of the kids , but overall a positive experience as our party coordinator went above and beyond

Had a fantastic 5th birthday experience at Planet. Jenny was our party coordinator and she was so lovely and attentive. Great value for money overall, I would highly recommend for a stress free party.

I recently attended a bowling competition at the Planet. The Staff were very friendly and there was a lovely atmosphere.

we went bowling thought it was really good , great atmosphere, staff was really friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend people to try it out.

Good pool tables. Staff very helpful and courteous as well. Possibly need to book bowling in advance as can get busy.
