This is an interesting and badly needed resource for Cork City. The walk starts at Cork Dump and runs alongside the link road which can make it a little noise polluted unfortunately. The start of the walk incorporates a little municipal fitness area. This is a nice touch. Informative little signs decorate the walkway and provide interesting information on the wildlife and vegetation. Thankfully there aren't too many bicycles on the walk and children can run freely. The only complaint I would have is I wish people would clean up after their dogs.

Started coming here for runs and walks after work. A really nice peaceful park close to the city. It's open late in the summer too. The only downside is no pedestrian access, you have to drive here.

Paid for the children's rides as we had two girls under 4, was really good fun. The girls loved it and are at the main restaurant was tasty. Free packet of Taytos on the way out sealed the deal!

Even though I live 5 minutes away from here, it was my first time visiting since it was officially opened. Lots of different paths, seats and green areas. So different from the time it was the dump. It still has a recycling facility on the grounds. Would recommend for all the family to visit

Really good sized park. Not enough done to promote nature. No nature trails, tree planting non existant. It's surrounded on three sides by motorway. More needs to be done to introduce more indigenous flora and fauna.

Lovely park, but hard to access without driving. Pedestrian and cyclist entrance is another 1km from start to actual park. Nice to do loops but lacking in plenty of amenities.

Tramore Valley Park is a park on the southside of Cork in Ireland. It has an area of 160 acres and covers massive areas of grass and fields. This park is ideal for playing sports, picnics, dates, walking, running and cycling. This is because this park doesn't have any building or playground blocking its scenery.

Lots of clean green space. The bmx and pump tracks are rad. Needs a playground at the top section. Good spot, we’ll definitely be back.

I had a big hopes for this park: lot's of cycling paths, hills etc. Sounded like a great place to visit on a bike. What this place is missing is a access on a bike! If you want to cycle here, you need to bring your bike with your car! Huge waste of many Cork City council. You can do better than that.

Been waiting for half moon lane to open up for years, it's Finally been done and I'm Delighted. I don't drive which made using the park and facilities basically impossible without a lift. That's no longer the case.

Lovely park, needs easier pedestrian access from the West and a coffee cart would be a nice addition

This place used to be literally a dump. But now it's a pitch and park. Now I don't know what kinda materials were dumped here but since I played here last week end my pen15 grew 2inches in girth and now I smell colours. Not a bad set of super powers.

  • 4/5 Helen S. 1 year ago on Google
Lovely amenity. Pity there isn't a coffee/tea/snack/ice cream concession. It would add to the place.

  • 5/5 Zoe-Louise D. 11 months ago on Google
A lovely spot to bring the dogs for a walk! Particularly love the open, field walkways. Lots of wildflowers and plants for the dogs to sniff but with well managed trails for the humans to stroll on. Great spot for long line work, park rangers always abouts too which is reassuring. Bins for dog poo located around the entrance and across the trailhead!

Great place for a walk, run or with the bikes. Just saw they have a box with equipment to rent for free as well. Brilliant idea.

  • 5/5 Bernice M. 8 months ago on Google
Beautiful area for a walk. The grounds are very well kept. There is so much ground to cover and footpaths the whole way round. We stopped here for an hour with our dog as we were passing through, and it is a lovely spot to go and stretch the legs.

Fantastic amenity close to the city centre on the southside of Cork. Great place for a walk and if you have one bring your dog 🐕 along as well. There are pitches and a green area for play and also bmx bike track, public toilets and a bring centre if you want to recycle ♻️ for free or dump general waste stuff at a cost. They also accept electrical items and old batteries. Plenty of parking 👍

  • 3/5 Peter P. 11 months ago on Google
Great place for a walk, there's a few goals for the kids to play football, the council could do a lot more here.

  • 5/5 katie c. 10 months ago on Google
Great place for all. There is beautiful walking space as well as fields for sports. Also toilets on site

  • 3/5 Grahame D. 1 year ago on Google
Nice park, good 2.5km running track but needs a lot of work and has potential to be so much nicer still!! Needs some trees, shade, wildflower patches, picnic benches etc etc etc!

  • 5/5 Stuart T. 9 months ago on Google
Pleasant open space on the outskirts of the City of Cork. There is a well organised and attended Parkrun at 09:30 on Saturday mornings. A strange feature of the park is numerous teddy bears attached to a fence after being reclaimed from landfill.

  • 4/5 Fiona L. 9 months ago on Google
Lovely walk, improved since it was fully paved. Really feels like you are miles from the city, calm and green. Some benches along the loop would be nice.

  • 4/5 Sean S. 1 year ago on Google
Very large park,B.M.X. track is a members only facility.Pumptrack is good but wind can be an issue. One Rugby pitch other grass area is meant as a multi purpose green space...not a soccer only area.Badly needs a playground as they end up using outdoor gym as a playground Great place for kite flying as it gets wind no matter what direction also there is a wind sock to check strength and direction.

  • 5/5 Owen M. 1 year ago on Google

  • 5/5 John Colohan (. 1 year ago on Google

Fantastic place but should be developed similar to ballincollig Park if possible. Still Fantastic great for run or walk. Possible should have bicycle lane

  • 5/5 Catherine m. 1 year ago on Google

  • 5/5 Martina O C. 2 years ago on Google
Tramore valley park is a gorgeous amenity to our area great for kid's to just run and burn off steam the cuddly toy display is a great idea for the kid's too..dog friendly too.. There's toilets which are kept really clean.. Only downside could do with a little shop to buy water /coffee.. But most people bring picnic... But if your a visitor to the area you wouldn't know this...

  • 3/5 Sean F. 3 years ago on Google
This park is the sealing dome on a former landfill. It's generally open grassland, rather windy, a combination of playing fields and wild meadow. Not all the pathways are paved. There is plenty of parking and toilets. But not very many benches.

  • 5/5 Bernard D. 3 years ago on Google

Great public park. They've done a really good job of turning the place into an amenity that is used by everyone young and old. It's kept in great condition and definitely worth a visit.

Great facilities to have in the city. Good for family and friends to walk, run or cycle. Have a coffee Dock would be perfect

  • 5/5 Adam O. 3 years ago on Google
Great park, large tarmac and stoned tracks perfect for cycling or running around perimeter or park. Smaller tracks are cut into grass around the center of the park which are great for running, can be quite steep on places.

Took my two boys with their bikes over there. My eldest is usually there every Saturday as he plays for Dolphin Rugby Club so it was nice to go over there for something else. Everyone keeping to social distancing. Great cycle paths.

Always enjoy our walks in Tramore Valley Park. Last Thursday evening our son experienced a seizure on our walk. Anthony, the park ranger and his colleague were extremely helpful in assisting us . Many thanks

I love to spend a hour or so walking around this parkland. There are playing fields and some tarmac Walkways. Public toilets are available with wheelchair access. The only thing lacking is a play ground for kids.
