I
was
on
a
solo
trip
and
I
booked
an
individual
double
room,
the
toilet
was
outside
the
room,
I
already
knew
that
when
I
booked
it
but
it
wasn't
as
I
expected
it
to
be.
The
hostel
has
a
pub
downstairs
(by
night
I
was
expecting
some
irish
music
but
they
had
house
music
so
it
was
a
bit
of
a
bummer)
and
from
my
room
I
didn't
hear
anything
so
that's
good,
the
receptionists
are
busy
with
the
pub
but
friendly
and
helpful.
The
hostel
doesn't
have
an
elevator,
so
if
you
have
a
room
on
the
2nd
floor
be
prepared
to
use
the
stairs
with
your
suitcase.
The
room
was
very
clean
but
veeery
small,
and
outside
my
window
there
was
a
big
extractor
that
made
a
very
loud
noise
from
9am
to
9pm.
Also
I
had
to
close
my
private
toilet
outside
the
room
with
the
key
because
I
was
told
that
other
guests
could
sneak
in,
no
problem
with
that
but
gave
a
general
feeling
of
insecurity.
Noise
in
the
corridor
at
night,
but
it's
a
hostel
so
it's
normal.
The
hostel
is
very
close
to
the
bus
station
and
to
the
center
but
I'd
say
that
it's
not
the
best
street
of
Cork,
a
bit
dodgy.
Summing
up:
hostel
was
clean,
staff
was
friendly,
but
the
rooms
are
very
small
and
the
breakfast
is
quite
small
too,
no
elevator,
price-quality
ratio
definitely
not
up
to
standards.
I
wasn't
very
happy
with
the
room
given
and
the
general
vibe,
but
I
guess
that
it
depends
on
what
you're
looking
for
in
a
hostel.
