Very bad hotel. Do not stay at this hotel. The rooms are very noisy and not clean. Even very ugly. It was a horror to stay here. Never ever again. Do not let fool you by the price it is not worth staying at this hotel. The picture of the rooms next to us give you An impression what they did to us. We asked for a refund because of the noise but they refused. Even a bad after service and they did not give any empathy for this situation. Four stars is what they give themselves. It is not given by a qualified company. It is even not worth one star

Staff at reception at breakfast etc very sincere and efficient. Having a lovely stay here plenty of car parking (private). So central to everything in Cork City . I find it a bonus there is no bar ( not worried about bringing in my bottle or 2 of wine) And nice and quite late at night( I don’t sing after wine)

Rooms are nice quite basic but clean. Double bed is comfy. Big star for breakfast ! Good coffee and menu. You have to dine in town. No restaurant on site.

Pros: the location is within walking distance of lots of shops, bars and restaurants. The room was clean. Parking was available and included. The staff was nice. The wifi connection was great. Cons: the bed was very firm, which some might like but I did not. The pillows were pretty flat. The shower was really awful - there wasn’t a full door to keep the water in, but a half door that leaked water all over the floor (and my clothes). The water pressure was pretty low; the shower came with what looked to be an adjustable shower head, but after several minutes of trying to adjust it I was unable to. Possibly user error, but also not a very intuitive design if it was. Biggest con was the kitchen was not at all willing to accommodate my allergy for a meal we already paid for as part of our stay. I have a severe tree nut allergy and i asked for pancakes, but was told they couldn’t make any guarantees. I tried to ask for eggs (which is usually a really safe bet) and was still told that they could not say with any degree of confidence that there would not be tree nuts in my food. My allergy will send me to the hospital, so if the chef says they’re not confident, I won’t eat at an establishment. This was really disappointing - I am pregnant, I slept very poorly on the bed, I woke up nauseous due to poor sleep, and then I couldn’t eat to help my nausea - not even eggs. We stayed at the Vienna Woods the night before, and I genuinely wish we we would have stayed there again, their beds were incredible (we over slept and I got 12 hours of sleep!) and their kitchen staff could accommodate an allergy. Overall, I would not stay here again. Given how many hotels in the area offer a good location, wifi, and parking I think there are much better options out there. Being clean and having a friendly staff are bare minimum expectations.

We stayed from here for two nights. The rooms are really dated. The beds are hard. The curtains seem to be old as well and the carpet. The location is great and for the money it's an ok place. They could update a bit to be a true 4 star hotel. The hotel staff are Really the friendliest.

Staff were very polite and accommodating. The room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel was just a short walk into the city centre.

Nice hotel. Located at the edge of the city centre. Near a major road but still quiet. Large rooms, with good space for work. Good WiFi. Breakfast is good, made to order, so plan for a bit of time to allow them to prepare it.

Great location with everything in walking distance. 4pm checkin is very late but the reception staff kindly reshuffled rooms to check us in at 2pm. Slightly dated rooms but very clean and has everything you need.

It’s actually just a average hotel with ok beds. No mineral waters in the room and you have to pay for them. The construction site next to us gets really noisy in 7 am so good luck. I don’t believe they are actually 4 stars to be honest.

Stayed here for the weekend while attending a concert in Cork. Hotel was clean and staff friendly but they obviously price gouged knowing that ppl were coming for the concert. €528 for a double room for 2 nights with no breakfast, was absolutely sick paying it and only for the fact we needed a place to stay I wouldn't have. I would never stay there again as a result, way too expensive for what you get. As for it being a 4 star you seem to get a lot less than any other 4 star I've ever stayed at, no leisure facilities, no bar, no restaurant, no room service. All in all a clean place to stay but too greedy to make me want to visit again

This was a great location for walking into Cork and had a free car park, which was a big bonus. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was really good and cooked to order. Would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were very helpful and recommended local bars and restaurants which we enjoyed visiting, especially Dwyers just up the road.

This is in an excellent location, the staff are super friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable, just what you want for a short city stay. You can walk into town and see cork (if the weather is nice).

Hostel very good one bad thing i happened. An African European woman worked at the hotel reception. In the morning I ask her to order a taxi for me at 2 pm. Taxi did not arrive at 2 p.m. I asked her or you can call a taxi again. The Aglinskas taxi did not arrive. I'm very late for me to already panic. I raise my shoulders to show that I am unhappy. She told me a taxi is not the same as a company hotel, pease don't bullying me. I picked up my bags and got off the taxi as soon as possible. In that situation I was left to blame, she watched me as a racist. In my opinion, she has to apologize for his situation and explain and supervise the taxi and so on.

Excellent hotel! Clean, fresh, nicely decorated and excellent breakfast and service. Exactly what you want in a hotel at an affordable price. Couldn't recommend it enough!

This hotel exceeded by expectations. The room was clean and nicely decorated in a simple modern fashion. Bathroom was spotless. Staff were absolutely excellent. Parking was ample and there was always an available spot. You do have to drive into the core to get here, but it's easy once you do it. Many places are within walking distance. A great coffee shop right across the way (so we didn't do the breakfast at the hotel). Quiet at night. This was a great price and great value.

Location: A+ walking distance from city centre. Price is higher for the services. Top floor rooms are too tight for the same price as on the third floor. Clean, comfortable and good access to City.

We stayed in a suite which was very spacious but the bathroom very dated and shower very small - in a large bathroom with also a separate bath! Needs updating. Breakfast generally good but on last morning - after we had to ask the waitress to take our order - it was served to me stone cold and as we were ready to leave I just left it! So left hungry! 🫤

Great location right in the centre of Cork City, with ample parking on site. We purchased a room that had a view of the river and that was nice. The room itself was clean and spacious, the window opening wide was an added bonus. The bathroom does need updating though, I have seen other reviews also say this. Overall a very enjoyable stay, and the staff were very friendly.

Stayed for one night on business. Very comfortable room, friendly staff, and an excellent breakfast menu. Highly recommend.

After a very long drive from the North West , my stay at the Lancaster Lodge was exactly what was needed. I loved everything about my stay from the very stylish and comfortable room, the secure parking and the breakfast. There is no bar food or restaurant for evening dining however Cork City center is only a short walk or drive( whichever you prefer) so you won't have to far to go to dine out!

Very cozy place to be at the center of Cork. I was there one night, business related. Staff is professional, rooms are very clean and very well minded. WiFi is stabile and ok to have meetings. I hadn't have a chance to be at the breakfast, but I am sure that is at the same level as everything else.

Nice hotel in a good central location, plenty of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Bathroom a bit dated, needs a bigger shower cubicle

B&B with Breakfast not included! I’ve paid for a Mini Irish Breakfast and a self service coffee 16 euro. The blonde receptionist a bit arrogant. Well done, cleaners - the room very clean.

Top class for what they provide. Doesn't have a bar or a restaurant apart for breakfast, Doesn't have a pool or a gym but if you need a room for the night at a very central to everything location then this is perfect

My partner, my son’s girlfriend and myself booked this hotel for Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th March as my son had a tumour removed from his brain in Cork University Hospital on the previous Friday. We live in Dublin. We were advised by the hospital’s medical staff that it was likely that he would be discharged no earlier than Wednesday 15th. I had informed the hotel management of this after booking the 2 rooms. However at lunch-time on Tuesday we were told by the hospital that he was being discharged on Tuesday afternoon. We were all delighted with the news. Immediately I informed reception at the hotel at 13.15 and I looked for a refund for the second night which we had booked. After a discussion with the Duty Manager (Catriona?) I was informed in a cold, totally lacking in empathy that no refund could be provided as it was not policy. She explained that the room cleaner had finished for the day. This was totally false as when we went to pack our cases, the cleaner was outside our room in the corridor. Again I approached the Duty Manager on my way out of the hotel. However again I found a manager who lacked any grain of compassion or understanding and could not give me a final receipt as I left. The following day I was sent a receipt by email with a refund of €30 for 3 breakfasts which we did not have on the Tuesday. What a pittance!! There is a total absence of hospitality exhibited by this hotel. Certainly I will never darkened its door again.

We selected this hotel because of its proximity to the airport since we had a very early flight the next morning. It was kind of difficult to find. The staff was friendly. They were having cars machine issues, but that was easily resolved. There was a lot of street noise, and since it was very warm in the room we kept our window open. It was fine for what we needed but it was just an average hotel room.

Perfect location for the talk I was giving about my writing in UCC. Friendly staff all round, very clean and welcoming place, spotless rooms, warm and comfy. Recommended.

Location good. Free parking. 15 min walk to city center. 10 min walk to Fitzgerald Park (in the other direction). Friendly staff. Nice, clean good sized rooms. Seems like they were recently renovated. Great shower. Lots of water pressure. Gave us 2 free bottled water when we checked out. Free breakfast very good. There was a lot of continental selections plus a menu with made to order fare. Slept with window open and while there was some street noise, it didn't keep us awake. If we are fortunate enough to visit Cork again, we would definitely stay here.

My husband and I found ourselves in the middle of the big freeze needing a bed close to CUH last Saturday night for a 7am appointment Sunday morning. We checked in at the last minute and I just have to say that the lad behind the desk was so lovely, kind, caring and understanding of our circumstances. I can honestly say we will definitely book with you again in happier and healthier times. Thank you again, wishing you a wonderful Christmas season.

Nice hotel for a short stay. Nice location near the centre but just far enough to not get any noise from the nightlife. Rooms are a dated ans could use a update into the 21st area.

Location was convenient and rooms were ok. But we were quite unimpressed when the staff rang us less than 10 minutes after check-out reminding us that we need to leave.

Clean and tidy rooms. Hairdryer & coffee facilities in room. No water though, have to buy 500ml in reception... In a 4 star??! The room was very warm and a barely basic fan is provided, luckly! The lady who checked us in was friendly, other staff rather aloof, didnt really raise their head from the computers in front of them. No food facilities other than breakfast, again in a four star? Would certainly have expected a little more oomf or extra. Would not stay again, as (possibly due to Central location) it was ridiculously expensive for the lack of what you get.
