Loved the delightful breakfast. Bed was very comfortable and clean with a private bathroom. Owners were very nice and friendly. Great location and close to City Centre. Only negative is a small one as we rarely were in the room except to sleep but we looked out over the parking lot and trash cans. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We stayed at the Anam Cara for 3 nights for our 1st wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. On arrival the hosts were very welcoming and friendly and offered many recommendations on places to go. We had a ground floor room facing the river which was nice and the bathroom looked new. The room was very clean. On our anniversary the hosts gave us a bottle of prosecco which was a very kind thought and it was greatly appreciated. I would stay again 😁

Truly a great bed and breakfast, its location is pretty practicle as it is very close to the city centre. The hosts are extremely friendly and bubbly. We really had a great time with my mother and my brother over there last summer break.

I booked in November to stay at the end of April for one night. It seemed like a nice place and I still think it is, but just arrived the host stop me and told me that it was a problem with my booking!! What?? I have booked month and month ago... She took us in a more expensive hotel saying that she would pay the difference. Well the hotel is OK but absolutely no more expensive, we probably paid more than it cost. Anam Cara is 4,6 stars on TripAdvisor and the hotel is 3,5. Bad experience.

Lovely location in Cork with parking on site. We very much appreciated Tim's recommendations, especially to visit Reidy's just 200m down the street for a beverage. The kicker here is the breakfast next door at the Serendipity Cafe offering a menu of your choice included in your stay!

We stayed here for three nights whilst visiting Cork. Tim and Aideen were really welcoming and gave some useful information of places to eat and drink. It’s really well situated for Cork and has good car parking, despite being in the city centre. I would definitely recommend walking from there to the park behind (Fitzgerald) and seeing the shaky bridge. Such a lovely atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious and I was craving Tim’s French toast for days after. Would definitely recommend the deluxe room at the front; not too noisy even considering the busy road.

Great spot! Tim was very welcoming and helpful with recommendations nearby. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast in the morning was quick and delicious. No complaints at all!

Had a lovely warm welcome from the host. She was so kind. The carpark at the rear was full, but she kindly let us park in front of the B&B. The room was lovely and clean as was the bathroom. Although we didn't avail of the breakfast it smelt good and the host told us to come back for the breakfast if we changed our mind, very thoughtful of her. Would highly recommend.

We had to cancel our trip to Ireland because I broke my toe and wasn't able to walk, so I have never been in this b&b. But it was a little bit disappointing that we still had to pay the full amount and got nothing back.

Aideen and her husband were welcoming and lovely hosts. She was quick with the jokes and he made amazing breakfasts. The facilities were clean and well cared for. Pubs and restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend a stay here if you are looking for a quiet place to stay in downtown Cork. You will not be disappointed. Its simply lovely.
