This
is
a
beautiful
hotel,
set
back
in
a
nice
secluded
setting
that
is
close
to
the
city.
We
have
been
travelling
for
a
year
now
and
have
stayed
at
many
many
hotels
over
that
time.
I
like
to
rate
hotels
mainly
on
the
beds,
service
and
just
getting
the
basics
right.
I
don't
understand
how
some
hotels
can't
do
that.
The
checkin
process
was
simple,
we
were
given
the
key
to
our
room
and
we
immediately
did
the
5min
trek
to
the
room
only
for
the
key
to
not
work,
so
we
had
to
trek
back
to
get
a
new
key.
That's
kind
of
annoying
straight
after
checkin
and
sets
a
tone
for
the
stay.
Whilst
the
bed
was
10/10
comfortable
the
room
didn't
really
function.
The
soap
and
shampoo
in
the
bathroom
was
on
the
floor
of
the
shower,
so
anyone
with
any
back/mobility
issues
would
have
had
issues.
There
was
only
one
facecloth
and
there
was
no
kettle
in
the
room.
The
chair
for
the
desk
doesn't
fit
under
the
desk
so
you
have
to
uncomfortably
lean
over
to
use
your
laptop
or
put
make-up
on.
There
is
antique
style
furniture
in
the
room
that
you
have
to
pull
at
to
get
open,
none
of
the
drawers
are
on
runners
and
there
is
close
to
zero
hanging
space
for
clothes.
The
breakfast
was
simply
chaotic.
The
staff
were
unprepared,
and
a
little
rude.
We
went
to
get
seated
and
other
groups
came
in
after
us
and
the
server
stood
us
aside
to
deal
with
4
groups
that
came
in
after
us,
I
had
to
intervene
and
ask
him
to
seat
us
first
instead
of
leaving
us
standing
there
like
plebs
in
the
hallway.
There
were
too
many
people
for
the
tiny
space
of
the
continental
breakfast
area,
people
were
leaning
over
each
other
to
grab
food,
and
it
was
a
terrible
experience
to
be
honest.
The
menu
was
not
explained
and
the
full
irish
that
we
did
get
was
not
edible.
The
eggs
were
rock
hard,
and
it
tasted
like
the
food
had
been
cooked
the
day
before.
To
be
honest
the
breakfast
experience
probably
lead
to
such
a
detailed
review
because
it
just
showed
how
unorganised
the
service
was.
We
were
however,
given
some
free
coffees
from
the
server
who
made
us
wait
for
a
seat
which
I
suppose
was
a
gesture
of
apology
but
it
didn't
make
up
for
the
chaos
or
the
fact
I
couldn't
eat
anything
that
we
paid
for!!
I
would
only
recommend
this
hotel
for
a
short
stay,
anything
longer
than
two
nights
I
think
you
would
be
frustrated
by
simple
things
just
not
being
as
easy
as
they
should.
