Nice and approachable staff. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Pillows were quite firm, so probably bring your own :) However, the place itself definitely needs a renovation. There's a bit of an old, damp smell. The food was tasteful (classic Irish breakfast), but coffee was not as pleasant. Overall, because it's difficult to find some decent and not so costly accommodation in Ireland, for a short stay, if you're not too fussy, it will do :)

The staff at the B&B was highly accommodating and courteous, always willing to assist with any requests. The room was nicely decorated and equipped with the essential amenities. The semi-continental breakfast was adequate and set a positive tone for the day ahead. Although this B&B in Cork 🇮🇪 was somewhat distant from the downtown area, it was a convenient location for those with a car, as it was situated near two gas stations. If you prefer to have shops and other amenities within a walking distance, this may not be the best option as there are no such facilities within 2 km.

Lovely Bed and Breakfast located outside the city center. We had a wonderfully refreshing sun room in which I could lay on the ground read a book and listen to the Irish rains pitter patter across the glass. It was quite relaxing and I enjoyed it quite much.

After reading the wonderful reviews of the Belvedere we were excited to stay, only to find it being renovated and a bit of a mess. The beds were unfortunately the worst we experienced in our week in Ireland. The staff was friendly. The location was OK but it's on us for not realizing how far out of downtown it actually was.

I arrived late evening, warmly welcomed. This B&B was such a joy, and I had a beautiful nights sleep in the most comfortable bed ever! Even though the reception was in the middle of a new paint job, the gentleman in charge was extremely helpful and the check in was very smooth. The place is Victorian and very high standard. Very quiet and tranquil atmosphere. The tea room / breakfast room had gorgeous tea cups and saucers with a delicious perfectly cooked full Irish breakfast. Perfect. Thanks so much ! J

Rooms are nice. Staff were attentive. Breakfast was full irish, good food. Have to catch a taxi or bus to get to town center.

Staff were very friendly and helpful breakfast was fantastic. The place itself is in need of a little love and attention. I had to bleed the radiator in the room to get the room warm. Mattress could also do with being renewed. I'd say it was a fantastic place in its hay day. 3 stars for the room extra star because staff and food were so good.

A bit out of my usual price range but definitely worth it, room was spacious and well appointed, when I booked I thought breakfast was extra but when I arrived I was told it was included, what can I say?All the fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal and juice you want while you wait for your full Irish breakfast which was amazing and they still asked if I wanted anything else, the coffee was excellent as well,1130 checkout is also nice

Disappointed in the room. Mold on ceiling in the bathroom. Sheets clean but blankets and bed covers not. Breakfast good and Grace who checked us in was delightful and helpful.

A cosy and cute BnB located in a convenient spot, right beside easily accessible bus stops. Stayed here for 2 nights and would definitely recommend it. The staff was super friendly, warm and helpful. They let us check in early and also kept our luggage for a while after the checkout. The breakfast is quite good and the dining area is like one of those cozy tea rooms with a garden view. The room and bathroom were quite clean and tidy and the view of the gazebo in the garden was breathtaking. Definitely stay here if you can

My family and I were on a road trip through southern Ireland including Cork and booked a room for one night at the Belvedere Lodge. We arrived and checked into a room with 2 queens and 1 full, which was perfect for the 4 of us. The room itself was a little dated, but the bathroom was very modern. It was a little mismatched but we were comfortable and don't need any frills. Two of the important things, the coffee maker and television, worked just fine. One of the young ladies working there, Grace, was super friendly and was able to get us extra towels as well as called a taxi for us to go to get dinner. Breakfast in the morning was served in a cute sunroom. The food was a typical Irish breakfast as well as cereals, fruits, cheeses, and yogurts. My pescatarian sister had lox and scrambled eggs, and my other sister and I had plain scrambled eggs. And, I could drink all the coffee I wanted. For the price and one night, it was a wonderful experience. Thanks again Grace!

I stayed at Belvedere Lodge for a week on my return from work trip to Sweden. The house is located in a location. It's but far from the city centre & train station, it's easily accessible by car from the N40 & M8. Wilton, Douglas, Mahon Point & Blackpool are all easily travelled too. The house itself is at a guess an early 1900's property which is in excellent condition and has a lovely garden. There is also plenty of off road parking to the front of the property. My room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed, a sofa, armchair, table and a desk & a chair where I was able to set up my laptop & screens to work from. The bathroom was in excellent condition & contained a lovely powerful shower. The room had very good & reliable WiFi connection. Breakfast was served in the dining area every morning. The setup was very professional & setup to comply with the social distancing. The staff could not have been more helpful & courteous & always had a smile. The breakfast options were very good & the we quality of the food served was excellent. The booking process was very easy & simple, as was checking out. Would highly recommend.

Well located and friendly staff. Breakfast was good and they managed to adapt well to the current Covid rules. The beds were not too comfortable but still ok and the rooms were very big. Unfortunately we could not use our shower as it was not possible to change the water temperature - it was burning hot. Despite us asking twice whether it could be fixed, we were not offered any solution or compensation for it.

A little distanced away from the center, not ideal place for whose who doesn’t drive. However, it is a pleasant place to embrace the quintessential Irish hospitality.

Very nice cosy atmosphere, lovely people working in it, always ready to please you. A bit far from the city center, but fortunately the bus 214 stops across the road.

Great night beds were comfortable, room was more than decent sized, staff were super nice and helpful and the breakfast was amazing. Would stay again just for the bed and breakfast. Has parking and close but not to close to city centre

I just want to say thanks to Belvedere Lodge for a lovely stay last week. I only stayed the one night but the service was fantastic. I arrived late which wasn’t a problem, and the man who took my booking over the phone was very helpful and it was all very straightforward. No hassle at all. Beautiful guest house. Ample parking outside, which is great. The room was spacious and comfortable and had everything. I like the tall ceiling, and comfortable bed. Easy to use shower, warm water straight away. And before I had to leave the following morning, they happened to have my favorite coffee in the room that I drink at home, so that was a lovely touch. Thanks again to Belvedere Lodge and I hope to be back! Highly recommended. A+
