Possibly the worst place i've ever stayed , wall so thin you can hear everything that happen in other rooms around you , half of what's inside the room doesnt' work (bed light , bathtub , heater is an absolute joke , and seems to not work even when turned on for hours , and works at random times) , beds are uncomfortable , if by any chance you can sleep with all the noise around you , the bed quality will quickly wake you up , staff is available that's a good point , and the noise from neighbours is not really the establishment fault , but the fact that you can hear so well every room around you is an issue. I do not recommend this place at all , if you feel very tired after a long travel it's not the place where you can rest in peace , you will maybe even be more tired than before you came.

The staff were welcoming and so friendly. We were given Room 6-6, a one bed apartment in the Crawford House part of the complex. This was perfect as I had a couple of hosp appointments so my hubby was able to relax while I was busy. The rooms were spotless! The facilities included a large fridge freezer, mini dishwasher, hob, oven and microwave. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk were provided, as well as cleaning products for the kitchen. A small private patio was available for smokers (not needed by ourselves) or to sit out in summer. Our daughter works in Cork so she joined us for a take away on the night of my op. Plenty plates, glasses and cutlery available. Plentiful private parking was available and there was easy access to public transport. I recommend Killarney Guest House 100% and it definitely will be our 'go-to' home from home when in Cork. Also, it was excellent value for money ā˜˜ļø

Installations are really old, carpet was stained, cracked walls, old furniture. This hotel needs a full renew. I really donā€™t recommend anyone staying here. You can find them in Booking.com, and possibly other reservationā€™s web, just run away. Photos are not up to date in the web, no elevator. I booked there and left after seeing how was the hotel. This is a scam.

Positives: Very friendly staff. Always there to answer questions for you. Manager is super nice. Breakfast is very tasty and fresh Bed is very comfortable. An ideal recommendation if sleeping for a few days Very close to the downtown area Negatives: Lots of background noise, but not too bad to disturb you from sleep. Breakfast choices are limited

Very welcoming place with super helpful staff. The breakfast is great with lots of options, but most of the time it's not included in the room price, so be aware of that. The guy who served our breakfast was very friendly and chatty, it made us feel welcomed. The room was big and clean with a comfy bed. The bathroom was small but it was ok. The place is a bit far from the city centre, so be prepared for a 20min walk or to get a taxi if you go out for a drink.

Located within Crawford building we were upgraded in a flat instead a double bedroom. Our bedroom was on the back side and quiet. Bed was 140 cm width. Hot water was not clear: issue with the tank? Wifi was really unstable. Welcome is good, and the ratio quality/price is not so good.

I was blown away by the quality of this place. We stayed in one of the apartments, and the furnishings were tastefully appointed and in excellent condition. We were only there one night, but I would have loved to stay here a month, as a very comfortable retreat at the end of the day. The price was quite reasonable and it was a short walk from downtown. Lastly, our host was endlessly friendly and accommodating to our needs. Part of me wants to recommend it to everyone; part of me wants to keep it secret and precious.

Bathroom is tiny, and very different from the pictures. You can clearly see effort was put into photography. Subpar in every regard, except in price - but we've had better and much cheaper.
