Absolutely wonderful! The room was simple, yet clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious We enjoyed made to order scrambled eggs, salmon, grilled tomatoes, beans, toast, cappuccino, and juice. Several other options also available. Olive was a delight. She is warm, friendly, and helpful. We highly recommend staying at Auburn House.

Olive & Karan (hosts) are seriously the nicest people. We really enjoyed our stay here. They recommended some amazing food and pub spots along with details of what is open with new times. 10/10 would recommend to everyone we know simply for the hospitality.

Olive is the kindest and most caring host. She is a wonderfull person. The room was wonderfull and in the centre of the city with parking space near the church. A magical place! Lovely breakfast.

Such a gorgeous stay. Just in the city centre, beautifully located, very economical, delicious breakfast, comfy bed. But the best thing about the stay is the hosts, Kieron and Olive. (And their sweet pooch Pippa!) They’ve been doing BnB for 30 years, and will give you all the tips and directions and recommendations you could need in Cork. This is where you want to stay.

We had a perfect time at Kieran and Olive´s, the B and B is so lovely, near to every city’s attraction, with very comfortable rooms. The breakfast is amazing! And Olive is so sweet, always available to give useful recommendations about places to visit so you can enjoy at the most your time in Cork!

Thank you to Olive and Kieran for a welcoming stay. Kieran provided my brother and I with maps marking where we were as well as recommending some restaurants we could go to like Market Lane which we highly recommend. The guesthouse is a 10 minute walk away from central Cork and not far from the train station which is convenient. The room, toilet, shower and place as a whole was spotless. It was handy to be able to use the downstairs fridge to store drinks. Overall the guesthouse had a nice vibe to it. As there was some work being done on one of the nights we were staying by their next door neighbours, Olive gave our breakfast on the house which was a lovely gesture. I have already told my mother about this guesthouse and plan to visit again in future.

We had a lovely stay at Auburn House while visiting Cork. Olive was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, and good value for the price. If we come back to Cork, we will stay again!

Lovely family-run B&B! The host is extremely friendly, serves whatever you prefer for breakfast and helps with all sorts of valuable advice about what to see and how to get there. Perfect location between the train station and the city centre (both only a few minutes away by foot), fair prices. House not modern, but charming. I can only recommend this place if you wish to visit Cork.

Lovely little guest house, rooms are lovely, comfortable, spotlessly clean with plenty of tea and coffee and milk. The location is excellent a five or so minute walk into Cork city centre, even less to the bars and restaurants in the Victorian quarter. The breakfast was a treat, cooked to perfection, my wife loved the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. The owners are so helpful, friendly and accomodating , Olive suggested a stop off in Cahir on our return to Dublin which was so well worth the time. I would highly recommend this little gem of a B&B.

Olive and Kieran are the best! They were both so welcoming and helpful. They choose to go out of their way to help guests, treating you almost like family! Please note that you do have to go up a big hill, which was tiring with our luggage. We’ll definitely stay here again but might take a taxi from the train station. The room and bathroom were great! it felt comfortable and homey.

Lovely helpful hosts. Olive and Kieran made us so welcome and they were great about sending on the keys we left behind. Breakfast was lovely and we had everything we needed. Pity we couldn't stay longer as the hill from town would certainly have improved my fitness level.

This place is a little gem just outside town centre. You know when you've found a vibe, and that's here. I've had my eye on the place a few times but chose elsewhere. Chose here this time (spoke to a friend who lives a few miles away and said the B & B has been here a good long time) and now regret not choosing here before. Would recommend. I'm in room 5. It's a very good room.

Very welcoming and considerate hosts Olive and Keiran. Decent breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere. Very central to good bars and restaurants. Room was clean and well serviced if a little on the small side. All in all very good value for money. Thanks guys!

We had a great stay here the owners were both great and friendly. They gave us great recommendations for places to eat and visit while we stay and traveled in Cork. The breakfast was great, it was better than most places I've been. If I ever come back to Cork I will most definitely stay here again.

Me and my friend turned up at Auburn House as the youth hostel we were staying in only had vacancies for the first part of our stay in Cork, and we were trying to find somewhere to stay for the rest. The host, Olive, was extremely compassionate and helpful and cleared a room for us that she had planned to do decoration work on, setting aside her time in order to help us and our needs. Olive was a very kind and lovely host and assisted us with everything we asked her. On the day of check out, I fell ill and Olive allowed us to stay a few more hours after checkout so I could rest, which I was especially appreciative of. 10/10 would definitely stay at Auburn House again, and will certainly be booking for my next visit to Cork! Thank you Olive! Kit and Ruth

I cannot recommend Auburn House B&B enough. All because of Olive, the loveliest host I have ever encountered. Really kind, helpful, accommodating, and just so friendly. She made me feel like we were old friends! The accommodation is great too. Great room with kettle, comfy bed, lovely clean bathroom. All the breakfast you could want with a coffee machine ☕. I will be recommending Auburn to anyone who will listen.
