Lovely and cozy B&B in the centre of Cork. Rooms are perfectly cleaned and comfortable.

This B&B is perfection. It's a B&B experience with Hilton inspired rooms and a beautiful homemade breakfast. Located two minutes from Kent train station and 10 mins from Cork city centre, it is an ideal place to stay. The rooms are clean, warm and quiet, and Lorraine and John make your stay personal and memorable. I would highly recommend staying here.

Lorraine is a wonderful host who shared lots of history and good suggestions about this most interesting County Cork. Spacious room with super comfortable bed and delicious breakfasts. I was very happy to stay here on my first visit to Ireland.

I made a reservation to stay at the Kent House B & B in Cork months ago. As I was confirming my travel plans, I discovered that their staff cancelled my reservation without any notice, instruction, or provocation from me. I spoke at length with the staff to try to ascertain what had transpired in causing this to occur. All that I was told was that they cancelled my reservation based on the larger room that I had reserved for a total of two occupants. Now, this same room is more than double the cost, with less than a month to find an alternative hotel to stay at. What's more, is that even with a reservation number, the Kent House B & B does not at all feel obligated to correct their mistake by honoring the same price for an equivalent sized room. This practice is not only dishonest, but it is price gouging in the worst possible way. Do not let this same thing happen to you if you are planning a trip to Ireland. Do not stay at the Kent House. You might show up and realize that they cancelled your reservation, and you don't have an alternative place to stay. Buyer Beware!

The female host (can't remember her name) was very accommodating and friendly. Decent size room and a short walk from the city

Wonderful stay here in 2015. Will stay again when I am lucky enough to return to Ireland.
