We were demanded to pay up front before having access to our room in cash. The owners elderly parents hang out all day, everyday in the front room. The last day we saw the owner walking in the front door stumbling drunk. The breakfast was mediocre , powered orange drink and freeze dried coffee. The staff was nice and helpful.

This ‘bed & breakfast’ could use a good, thorough cleaning and some TLC. The fellow working the reception was pleasant but the accommodation itself was not. I do not recommend and wish we had stayed someplace else.

Stayed here for 1 night! Card machine was out of action. Had to pay cash upfront. Room was filthy dirty carpet hole in wall cracks on walls same key opened all doors ( front door bedroom probably all bedrooms) felt very unsafe staying here slept with chair wedged to door as their was no way to lock door. We didn’t stay for breakfast first light and we were out the door. Conditions are not acceptable for this dump to be called B&B .

We were told there was breakfast in the morning There wasn't,well area was all locked up,no sign of anyone and we had said we would be up at 6.15 for 7 bus and assured it would be fine. There were holes in the doors and walls. The walls separating the rooms are so thin, you hear everything from next door. Clean bed linen only thing.

Simple and neat place to stay. Breakfast of buns n cereals provided. Staff very friendly n helpful. Very clean room. Faces the train station. N near to city centre.

They scammed us for more than €150 extra by charging all three guests for the same room. Do not stay here but if you do, pay cash only and do not give them any cards or they'll scam you too

Awful at the price. If you thought the rooms were basic. Wait until you arrive down for the very basic and terribly bland breakfast of cheap white bread, cereal and dire coffee. All ingredients from the pound shop. Best to go elsewhere for breakfast if you do have to stay.and have no alternative Can't believe places like this still exist

Booked 2 rooms for staff, when arrived they had given rooms away - no apologises no call no bother we book b&bs all over Ireland will not be booking this and will advise all crews to stay clear. Reading reviews here looks like a common occurance.

Clean and cozy room.Breakfast included.Shampoos and towels are available.Good rate and brilliant receptionist to handle room for single female.

Unfortunately the room was quite dated and there were various repairs needing to be made to the door and walls. I wasn't brave enough to use the shower but the water from the sink was hot enough to peel the skin from your hands.

Stayed here for just a night while in Cork, and the room was clean and comfortable. The owners made us breakfast early because our bus was leaving early the next morning, and it was much appreciated!

Made a booking my flight got delayed and they decided they would give away my room when I rang nobody there to help us if you had a choice of somewhere else to stay don’t stay here

Great location and the hosts were very hospitable. Our shower was a dribble and the rooms decor was a bit dated and the paint was flaking. But the sheets were clean and the beds were comfy and thats all we needed!

Rang during week to confirm our booking all was okay for that weekend to stay 2 nights. Rang the Friday to explain we were coming but that we would be late only to find out he had given our room away!

Stayed in this bed and breakfast for one night the room was terrible, dirty sheets, dirty carpet, the old man on reception was anything but nice the card machine was filthy with dirt, I wouldn’t recommend for anyone to stay

What can I say? Breakfast is a disaster.. Told on arrival its continental and its not.. Irish B&B is a hot breakfast normally.. Coffee was disgusting.. Some of the residents gave me the impressions it's a hostel.. Residents while we were there were very noisy.. We won't be back. Oh forgot to. Mention the dodgy door locks as we had trouble getting out.couldn flush the toilet which I fixed and also the dirty glasses in the bathroom covered in toothpaste.. . Lol

Rooms were very nice and clean Location is just right front of Kneat Station Near to city center walk Wifi was poor network Breakfast was good

Does exactly what it says on the tin, Bed and Breakfast (Breakfast is Cereal, coffee, tea, fruit, no fry) 2 lovely Cork men will greet you and you are only a short walk from the city and just across from the train station
