Tried hot chocolate. Indoor dining gave good experience and plug points available if you like working from a different place 😉

Very nice cafe. There are a lot of seats but it often fills up. Staff are always very friendly and the coffees are great. Cakes are a bit sweet for my liking but my friends love them. Also the coffees are reasonably priced compared to others in the area!

Good place to chill out with your friends. Staff is good and so location.its in city centre. But what I felt that they got more customers and staff is less so it take time to clean tables and etc. That's why I gave 4 star. But cappuccino was good and so the Tunisian Orange Cake.

The first cafe with gluten free cake I've seen! The mocca was also excellent, and the mugs are quite big.

Ordered a hot chocolate when I got it I started taking out the foam from the top. Got halfway through the cup before I got to some actual hot chocolate. Asked them just to top up with some milk but instead they made a mew one and didn't put any hot chocolate in. So I ended up with a cup of milk and I paid 4.20 for the privilege. No gluten free options available. Very bitter americano, barely drinkable. Long wait for the 1 toilet. We will not return.

This coffee shop is - as I tell my friends often - my happy place. I come here often by myself when I want to have some "me" time, read a book, work on some personal stuff on the computer or just to sit down and have a cappuccino before heading off for the rest of my business. Sometimes I bring friends in as well. Been doing this for years now! I can imagine that every shop has its good days and bad days, however the only inconvenience I have ever experienced was when it was so busy that I would have to sit outside (I strongly prefer indoors). But, honestly, it hasn't happened nearly as often recently. I also like that it stays open from early in the morning until the evening, though I do feel like sparing a thought for the folks pulling long shifts to make that happen! In short... nice place, good stuff, class staff. 👏🏻

Honestly I had rated it 4 for the quality of the cakes but changed to five because its probably one of the best coffee in the entire city center, I love the chocolate and there are not many places that close this late.

Travel October 2022-I seriously needed to use the bathroom (as there are no facilities in the area) and since we needed a caffeine boost anyways we ordered a chai and coffee. The place was very busy, and the bathrooms might need a bit more attention (but given the area and how many customers come through it might have been difficult to find a time to do a clean).

They are always in a rush and the customer service from the baristas is poor. Unable to inform you what is inside the veggie roll. I must say after eating it, I wasn’t able neither. Il seems a processed food without taste. The cakes are too sweet even the vegan oat. The red panini and balls were good though. But you don’t really plan to go there yo enjoy a break, it’s more a starbucks level when everything is already closed.

IV been coming here for a solid year now I get the same coffee and have seen the staff handle alot always with a smile on there face they are professional and kind. They have taken the time to learn my order and always welcome me with a smile and a quick check in with how I'm doing. This means alot in the customer service side. The staff are just fantastic and the coffee is always on point. I have never had to wait long even when the line is out the door they pull together and get you moving. This is my spot before work and it gives me a chance to collect myself before work and I love it strong recommend.

Best cafeteria in Cork, love the coffee here, it’s open late which is a bless for people like me. The selection of cakes suits me. All cheesecakes are great, and peanut butter bar make me want to have another one or 2 right after the first one. Only downside is a lack of sitting places, don’t get me wrong. There is a lot of tables inside and outside, but the place is busy. Sometimes you can’t get the table inside to have a cake and some latte inside.

Superb to be able to visit a local coffee house while on a trip to Cork. A really nice spot with loads of Irish produce. Good coffee and my chai latte was also awesome - with an option of spiced or vanilla and extra cinnamon ☕️ friendly service from the team too!

The place looks friendly but the coffee cake we had was dry and the coffee was undrinkable. Don't recommend.

We used to come here often when we were living in Cork. Today we stopped by again and met Anna, who was super nice and her kindness went beyond any expectations. We were supposed to celebrate my wife's graduation and found out I forgot my card in another pair of trousers. We had some cash but wasn't enough to cover the whole order. Anna insisted on paying what we were ready to give up. If you read us, you're welcome in Rome anytime! And please give her a pay rise, she totally deserves it

Lovely iced teas for those of us who don't drink coffee. The lime one is excellent.

Open until 9 which is good for anyone who works late - other cafes close too early. Friendly staff, good choice and tasty hot chocolate.

Came into this place for the 1st time ever. asked to use the bathroom, as i have a disability and really had to use the bathroom. Asked the brown haired girl at the till can i use the bathroom and she gave me the code. i was just abt to open the door of the bathroom but had another brown haired girl come towards the bathroom and refused me of using the bathroom and was told i wasnt allowed as i wasnt a customer and didnt buy anything. definitely not happy abt that as it was a disabled bathroom aswell im pretty sure. I understand that town has ppl in it with shocking behaviour but id disagree that me and my friend that was with me were of any harm. i just wanted to use the bathroom, im not a wheelchair user but i do have a disability and is clearly visible to see that when i walk. very disappointed abt this and wont ever be coming to this place ever again.

The coffee is amazing. The space itself is well kept and clean. The staff is extremely professional and organized.

Not a good experience, dirty tables asked for the table to be cleaned & ended up doing it myself, stale coffee cake served & dirty milk jug, when I looked for a different one was told oh it’s a tea stain… it was a piece of black dirt not tea stain, the other jugs had tea stains in them for some bizarre reason. I handed it to the girl behind the counter who put it straight back into the pile of metal jugs… would never go to this place again.

Crowded (very) and expensive. And using the (only) bathroom is a pain. On the bright side, the staff is kind, and the orange cake is delicious.

Coffee was good staff was just ok

  • 2/5 Chetan M. 1 year ago on Google
The coffee depends on the barista and the crowd. Usually too many of them don't even know how to prepare coffee or don't care. The quality post pandemic especially has gone down the gutter like where I feel I should throw the coffee each time it is prepared improperly

Great coffee shop, well located, excellent service. We are regularly renting their meeting room on the second floor, it is bright, spacious and comfortable.

Absolutely love this place! One can have one of the best coffees in Cork at Bean & Leaf. The snacks available are also very nice. And the best part is the pricing which is very competitive. They are at Grand Parade and Mahon Point. There is a loyalty app which gives yo a free coffee after every 7 coffees.

😠 The quality of the food and taste has gone downhill, and the prices have increased considerably. The menu has become very limited. The waiting staff are excellent and are always very pleasant. The toilets have become very dirty, and the standard of cleanliness needs to be improved. Unfortunately...
