Lovely place. Nice staff on the day! Read some reviews before going, not really sure what the one starrers saw or experienced but from visiting, looks as if they called to the wrong place. Maybe called to one of the nearby homes instead of the cafe and got bad service as a result? 😜 Eitherway, great service, polite staff, clean toilets, good options both for drinks, pastries and desserts. Reasonably priced too, I’d have expected higher pricing over the unique options available. Thankfully sense prevailed with pricing and you can get affordable, good quality food and well brewed drinks

Cafe Depeche is a great place to meet up with friends or a partner. There is a little room in the back to cuddle up and chat in. They play Depeche Mode all day. So, if you love Depeche music this is the place for you. Their mouth watering chocolates play with your visual senses and tongue. Your eyes lure you into a further investigation of what they offer. Then your tongue betrays your self discipline. You may as well kiss your diet good-bye. Their chocolate treats really are amazing.

Loveliest coffee to go , I love that they have a window where by you can order on the go . The two ladies are bubbly and remember you even when you are brand new. The flavours of lattes are amazing and makes you feel perky. I have observed the ladies there remember their customers as well. Inside is small but not a bother if you looking to dine. I would recommend it if you wish to stroll around with warm coffee to keep your smile on all day .

Staff was nice. Coffee was good as well but the vegetarian sausage, which is some kind of pastry, was simply awful. I didn't even finish it. I gave it to pigeons but they were not interested. Never again.

We entered in a lazy afternoon (or maybe that part of Cork is just always like this) and we were the only customer served right away and the large latte was perfectly good. Milk blended perfectly with coffee and enjoyable so much that I would have had another one, if I had time to. I was attracted by the shop window full of coffee, but I realised after I was seated that it was a Depeche mode themed café. Anyway recommended to go!

Stale pastry to go...two items costed €7. Inedible. And they never had depeche mode playing whenever I visited. Check out other reviewers..he's threatened to call the guards for honest reviews 🤣🤣🤣

A small cafe with a nice atmosphere, friendly staff and decent coffee. I stopped in for about half an hour to avoid the reason and get a pick me up. Its dark but cosy but there isn't much seating, I think about 16 people would push it to it's limit. There's a selection of savory and sweet snacks too.

Quirky cafe with good coffee. Espresso machine for our American friends! Cafe Depeche of course plays Depeche mode music. Cosy front room with more out back. Also has good food selections. Pardon part of my head in the photo.

Been going here since 2014. Lovely staff, relaxed atmosphere and good vibes all around. Get the nutty irishman latte. Be warned, you'll never want to get Starbucks ever again.

One of the workers there is honestly such a ray of sunshine. Was in a horrible mood over the weather but between the gorgeous gingerbread latte i got and her being so happy and lovely guess I can get over the cold and rain.

It’s starting to become a trend of mine to pop into this shop before work and get a coffee. The reason for me returning, is not only for the coffee. But for the genuine smile and warmth you receive from two ladies, whose names I remember. Even when the cafe is busy, they will always make the time for a chat and even recognise my order! To me, that’s customer loyalty and certainly good coffee! Keep up the good work!

I've only recently discovered Depeche and it's quite the find. There's a lovely kind of booth which is ideal to have a quiet chat at the right hand side as you walk in. The cafe owner is pleasant and good at her job. Plus there's a very impressive selection of sweet and savoury treats. I recommend the Baileys caramel shortbread (although that may not be the proper name for it). The only downside is that the take away cups aren't compostable or ♻ recyclable. When I asked the owner about this, she said perhaps in the new year, they might change but she didn't sound very convincing. The chai latte was lovely, every time.
