If I could give 0 stars I would. We ordered 2 toasted sandwiches, by the time we got them, which was a long wait, they were stone cold, dry as a bone. My partner ordered mine as white bread and was never told that they only have whole grain. The women serving him was rude to him. We finally sat to have our food and noticed that both of our sandwiches were from the heel of the bread.....who on earth wants to pay the prices that they charge for sandwiches to get the heel of the bread and a scabby 4 crisps on the plate. And my bread wasn't white as asked for. I took it into the manager, who honestly was the most rude women ever, serious attitude problem, nasty women. I explained it too her and she said it's whole grain bread that's all we have (which wasn't said when ordering for white) I said what's that got to do with been given the heel of the bread. It was dry enough without adding the heel. She went to snatch the plate out of my hand and said ill make another one, I said I don't want another, we're not happy so we're leaving and she said fine and walked away. There was one waiter working out in the out door area and he was very nice and helpful, it's a shame the same couldn't be said for the manager. Terrible management, rude staff, overpriced rubbish sandwiches won't be going back.

Absolutely shocking! This was €8.90 for a measly toastie with ham and cheese. Onion and tomato were considered “add ons” I assume it would have been €10 for a TOASTIE if I had went to the “add ons”. What an absolute disgrace! The prices ye are charging is daylight robbery!! Will NOT be going back.

Ordered a coffee (€3.00) and the very pleasant person on the till said they'd drop it over to me. Almost 10 minutes later I'm still waiting, so had to go get it. Not a huge deal, but still not great service. The coffee is pretty nice and the outdoor seating is spacious and has a retractable roof, perfect for Irish weather! It seems like a busy café and plenty people were having breakfast here. Overall, an OK experience.

Yummy and fresh. Very nice place to chat with friends, take a coffee... Breakfast, cakes, sandwiches... all you can pay by cash as well. Now, the outside Coffee Shack is open with yummy artisan waffles and cakes, fantastic place, its on your "have to visit" list.

Was I shock at the prices and the coffee isn't not great quality at all. €3 for a small bottle of water. To top it off some of the staff members were extremely rude, were staring very obviously at me and giggling to each other which made really uncomfortable and that's what ultimately made me do this review. Myself and my mother used to come here years ago and loved it, definitely won't be going back.

Got a cappuccino there this morning. The “ barista “ scalded the milk and to top it all off I paid 4 euro for the pleasure. The coffee in Tesco is better. I’d avoid at all costs

19 euro for 2 terrible small crepes and a bottle of water. Ordered 2 crepes. The cheese wasn’t even melted at all. The crepes themselves came out of a packet. Very small portion. 19 euro?!

We ordered lunch for a family of 5; something went wrong causing one of the meals to arrive only after a long wait - but the staff fixed everything afterwards. Thanks a ton!

Not worth the money. €8.50 for a very mediocre veg soup, it came with a small soda bread so we asked for another one each and got charged €3 for two slices. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

I used to love Jane Taylor’s but the new Spanish lady with black hair is so so rude. Passive aggressive every time I get a coffee and openly bullies staff. I hope they get rid of her.

Waiters more occupied styling their hair in cafe mirror on floor then cleaning tables. Shells and hair in food … horrible for the most basic of orders. More detailed: I arrived close to 12:00pm. I asked if the breakfast menu was still on and thankfully it was.y order was taken a dirty number pole was given to me and I had to sit at a dirty table. I scooted the items to the edge of the table and the waiter took one thing. He walked the floor (tall, beard, brown haired) as if he had. Nothing to do yet every empty table was full of stuff including mine. Food arrived…. Scrambled eggs beans and toast … a child could make it. Toast … sitting out and stale…. Beans.. boiling hot from the ramiken being put in the microwave Eggs… cold. Blonde hair and shells. Mind you it’s 10.50euro … not the cheapest. I gagged and left. Just literally go to any other cafe in the shopping centre

I asked for something that was on breakfast menu and lady on counter didn't even hesitate and said yes. If all places could be as obliging, it would make for a more pleasant dining experience. All staff were very efficient and friendly snd nothing was too much to ask for. Food excellent and served with a smile. We will be back.

I not always write reviews. This is one of the very few places where I was able to eat a DECENT salad. As a salad lover, thanks so much to actually do it how it has to be done. Yummy chicken salad with big portions. Not the small portions they give you for a huge price in other places. Please, keep going and don't change that.

Ordered eggs benedict and Eggs Florentine. The eggs florentine wasn’t the traditional eggs florentine that is served with spinach, rather it had smoked salmon. The eggs in both dishes were over cooked, the yoke was solid and didn’t oose. Disappointing and expensive experience.

Found this gem back in June, and now I call in every time I'm in Cork. The scones are fab. But my favorite is the porridge. It is served with fresh berries, seeds and honey. Delicious. The staff are lovely and super friendly. The restaurant is clean and spacious. And has a lovely outside dining area. They have a great selection of dishes. A must try when in Wilton.

Daylight robbery. Charged me €28 for two cups of tea . 1 toasty sandwich and 1 slice of quiche. If this place was a 5star ud say something. Never again will I be coming to this place again 😒 wouldn't recommend this place don't even deserve the one star ,if was able to give it a minus I would 🤬🤬

Staff are friendly but very disappointed with food. Ordered chicken crostini but was not expecting this. Literally rubber chicken reheated in microwave on top of a slice of white bread with 3 olives. Not even toasted very strange

Very busy restaurant with great choices of cakes and food. Staff at counter are friendly. Loosing *as didn't see much sanitisation of tables and little bit expensive.

Set in a dandy shopping centre Jaye Taylor is a very nice cafe with a good selection to choose from and an always cheerful and friendly staff. It has a very welcome outside weather protected area that originally suited smokers but which now accommodates those wishing to dine outdoors as an additional Covid19 precaution. Well worth a visit.
