A really nice park, well kept and in the heart of the community, just beside.Tory Top Library. There's a possibility of walking/jogging/cycling, playing team sports/ball games (two pitches - soft ground and artificial grass), skating in a skate park, performing on a little stage as well as playground fun with the kids. All these and more in a green scenery with trees, bushes and grass lawns relaxing your head.

Excellent facility with full pitch size field in the middle. Multiple walking areas around the main field with an all weather football and basketball area plus swings and slides for kids. There is also a skateboard area that can also be used for roller skates. A park that has everything, lots of people walking dogs here and there is even a lad selling coffee on Sundays. I dont know if he is there during the week. Facility kept very clean.

This is not a big park but it's perfectly formed. Mad about it. It seems to fill so many different needs. People walk dogs, a lot. There's a pitch in the middle as the focal point, really good surface too and well maintained. Just the other day I came upon a big bunch of kids training, Kilreen Celtic I think. Apologies if I'm wrong. Whoever runs these sessions deserves a clap on the back. Never seen so many happy and well drilled kids, boys and girls. Parents waiting to collect the kids all seemed equally happy. There's a path running just beside the pitch and a tarmac one further out. There's a bandstand, I've yet to see a band but it's kinda nice. Very old school. There's a skatepark with one raised side which small kids seem to love. There's a basketball/ five a side court which seems to be the domain of the teenagers but again great to see kids having fun. There's a Men's Shed next door I think and I think they also do work in the park. Please forgive me if I'm wrong here. I've noticed a crepe van working alongside in recent times and this morning there were a few more vans setting up for I think what might be a small market. Not that I'm especially religious but there's a grotto on one outside corner and I recommend going there at night to see how the shadow of the nearby tree falls across the rock behind. Really nice. Like a Japanese garden. This is a community park, I love it. It's all things to all ages. Old and young in perfect harmony. Old lads with Jack Russells and young fellas with skateboards and everything else in between.Credit to all involved.

A nice, spacious, tidy and well run park which is good for walking and taking exercise or for just having a coffee in the open air.

One of our favourite parks in the city, pitch to kick a ball, skating ramp to play on, shop across the road and toilet in centre next door and library across the road too. Great spot

Nice park for dog walking. Usually quiet. Could do with more rubbish bins though.

The park is nice. Including playing pitch, small skating area and a playground. The park has walking tracks to allow access and provide a pleasant place to exercise. At time of writing, the playground could do with a freshen up.

Nice space though a bit limited by the sports pitch at it's centre !! More trees and wild spaces would be welcome instead of the pitch. Popular with dog walkers Grand play area for smallies. Nice to have the basketball court there. Unfortunately it seems constantly occupied with particular youths during the limited opening hours. Fast food wrappings and rubbish thrown on ground by teenage group at times is disgraceful even though plenty bins are provided. A water feature would be nice there Maybe one that dogs could have a drink from while humans enjoy the surroundings which are quite bland at the moment.

Nice, mature park with a lot of trees, a playground and a soccer pitch and a separate corner away from the crowds.

such a large garden would be nice to have a dog area. so that it can become a park suitable for everyone.
