Been recently down to the wonderful village of Kinsale I was lucky enough to book a Forging Food tour with Kinsale Food tours. It was in fact my 2nd time as I loved my 1st time so much I really wanted to do my 2nd one but this time along the coast learning and foraging about the bountiful seafood food that is on our coast. Suzanne created a wonderful picnic for us all to enjoy before providing us with all the knowledge to seek out and cook all the coastline food we could want to eat. The weather was great though it did get a few small drops of rain but none the less we all had an excellent time as we not only enjoyed the food but learned that when next time we take a walk along the coast we will with thanks to the food tour and what we learned on it be able to forage and cook our own food. Highly recommend folks if you are looking for something a bit special and love food too! Many Thanks Suzanne.

Had an amazing afternoon cruising around Kinsale harbour on this catamaran. Suzanne organised loads of wonderful food and drink from local producers and shops and she was an incredible host full of knowledge for our trip. She was really informative and easy to be around. Suzanne also allowed us time to relax on our own and enjoy the stunning scenery and time with friends. Would highly recommend a yacht tour with her.

I discovered this by accident whilst eating at a nearby restaurant. Brilliant experience, delicious tasting menu of locally made food and drink at various restaurants and shops in Kinsale. Our guide Siobhan was really lovely and very welcoming, knowledgeable about the area, and incredibly helpful. I was traveling solo and she was very kind and helped a lot with transport and logistics, thanks very much for a great tour

Loved the yacht tour of Kinsale Harbour. Suzanne is an incredible guide, we learned so much about Kinsale and its fishing history, the local wildlife and the many health benefits of all the seaweeds she foraged to show us. The local foods and drink were amazing which we had the pleasure of sampling on board. James invited us to help with the sailing if we wanted or to kick back and enjoy the views if that was our preference. It was really chilled and both Suzanne and James are so natural and friendly. It was an incredible experience - highly recommended.

I'll begin by noting that I rarely write reviews, but as I think back on the highlights of my trip to Ireland, I know that one of my enduring memories will be the time my wife and I spent touring Kinsale with Suzanne Burns. Simply put, the experience was delightful - we were introduced to Kinsale's history and the city's food scene through Suzanne's skills as a researcher, her wit as a guide, and her warmth as a community member. Expect to be taken to four stops through the city, and to be greeted heartily at each location. Along the way you'll learn bits and pieces of the city's past. It's a highly personal experience, as evidenced by the fact that after she learned it was my birthday, Suzanne snuck word to one of the chef's and I was treated to a surprise dessert. Kudos to Kinsale Food Tours for going above and beyond in creating such a pleasant experience!

Suzanne was the best on our food tour in Kinsale! We ate yummy food (definitely come hungry!), learned about the history of the town, and got great recommendations for the rest of our trip in Ireland. Highly, highly recommend!

This was the perfect honeymoon experience! First off, it seems the low star reviews are not even about the food tour. This food tour is owned and operated by Suzanne, and Suzanne is awesome! We had a magical time learning about the history of Kinsale, experiencing the different food around town, meeting lovely people, and going to the beach to forage for seaweed and learn about the biodiversity of the Kinsale coast. We've been on a lot of food tours, in fact, our wedding reception was a food tour in Asheville, NC. In terms of the Kinsale Food Tours, I wish I could go beyond 5 stars because this was one of the best food experiences we've ever had. The food was exceptional, the company was grand, and the chocolates were unreal. If you find yourself in Kinsale, this is an experience you cannot miss. Thank you so much for a wonderful time and making a magnificent honeymoon experience!

Kinsale is an amazing place and the Kinsale food tour is the perfect way to learn about the town and enjoy the amazing restaurants. Suzanne knows so much interesting history about the area and is so delightful. Considering there a four different stops on the tour, the price is very reasonably. Arrive hungry!!

This food tour seemed like the perfect experience for a chilly afternoon and it didn't disappoint. Suzanne was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. Although I'm fairly local, we visited 4 eateries I'd never visited myself, the food in all 4 was absolutely amazing and I'll certainly be visiting them all again. It was great to share the passion for food with the restaurant/shop owners and Suzanne, and we felt wonderfully well fed at the end of it. Thank you Suzanne!

We were in Kinsale for a course and our daughter treated us to the tour. An absolutely fabulous afternoon was spent in Suzannes company and the food was delicious. Suzannes knowledge and obvious pride in the town makes her a terrific ambassador for Kinsale and the food businesses she includes in her tour. An absolute must do activity in Kinsale. The Holy Trinity of a perfect day, great food, great company and great craic.

Mairead runs an amazing foraging tour! Incredibly knowledgeable and informative - my wife and i did the foraging tour just outside of kinsale and really didn’t know what to expect - it’s turned in to one of the real highlights of the entire trip to Ireland!! Could not recommend more highly. Definitely sign up - you will love it!!!

Suzanne is AMAZING! An absolute MUST if you’re stopping in Kinsale. My husband and I had an incredible time with Suzanne on our honeymoon, and we still talk about the history we learned, the food, and the yummy lattes we had. I’d give her 10/5 stars if I could! Also, Suzanne, I wanted to shoot you a note and say thank you SO so much for your Kinsale Mead gift. We are drinking it right now, and thinking about the magical time we had. You are a gem!!

As all the other reviews mention, Suzanne is what makes this walking food tour EXCEPTIONAL! Suzanne is friendly, knowledgable, and you can tell she takes great pride in Kinsale and all it has to offer. We were a group of 5 and we all unanimously decided the food tour was a highlight of our 8 day stay in Kinsale. The mussels at Kitty O'Se's were the best we've ever had and I'm still dreaming about those amazing sausage rolls. Suzanne - thank you so much for making our visit even more incredible; we will certainly recommend your tour to any of our friends and family who are lucky enough to visit Kinsale.

Suzanne is a delightful lady and led us on a delectible three stop tour starting with an Irish scone, creamed and jammed, and an entertaining quiz on Irish animals, bees, and so on! The food stops were delicious and the chefs/ preparers passionate about their creations. A definite highlight of our stay in Ireland.

👍👍 I've been a Mead lover for a while now and found the availability of Kinsale Mead, which I also enjoy. Today, we visited Kinsale Mead and met Dennis and Kate - two warm and friendly people with a passion for Mead and Mead making. We did the tour (which we came especially for) and really enjoyed our...
