Our first experience of glamping was Legan Castle and what an experience. From the moment we arrived it was special beyond our expectations. Beautiful scenery by day sky full of stars at night, comfy and relaxing the perfect getaway. Our host Caroline was brilliant. Can’t wait to return. Absolutely loved the place.

What a lovely weekend experience! We were spoiled from the get go with Caroline's prepared Grazing plate, which was exactly what we needed after a long drive. We stayed in a glamping tent which was super comfortable, very charming, and was just a perfect experience. Caroline is not only a fantastic hostess but a great cook and baker (the pavlova! to die for), and we highly recommend taking advantage of the food offers on the website.

Two nights of pure tranquility and nature! Loved every minute. Caroline is an amazing host who makes you feel so welcome and relaxed. She has good knowledge of the area and can give great tips on things to see and do. The glamping pods are like stepping into another world. So cosy and have extra blankets if you get chilly in the night (we were toasty and it was early May). The self catering area is spacious, clean and has everything you could need. Arthur the dog is an added bonus, so well behaved and always happy to see you. Highly recommend staying here and we will be back

Caroline is an exceptional host and the whole property is just a paradise. We have stayed in the farmhouse suite and we could not ask for a better weekend away from the busy life we have. Besides the most amazing settings of the farmhouse suite, décor, spotlessly clean place and service, Caroline is amazing cook as well. We had a Friday BBQ and she accommodated me with vegetarian options, which was so kind. The food was delicious, the breakfasts amazing and grazing board with cheeses, dips, fruits and much more was so tasty as well. We are going to be coming back for sure. Thank you so much for your hospitality, kindness and being such a superb host Caroline, your place is one of a kind and I highly recommend to everyone to visit. The stay was beyond our expectations.

The Legan Castle Farmhouse was our first stop during our honeymoon this past May...what an incredibly special start to our trip! From the beautiful setting to the expertly crafted BBQ dinner and tent-side breakfasts, Caroline creates an experience that is unique and restorative within a backdrop of lush rolling farmland. Legan is way beyond the typical glamping venue. The large plush mattress, stylish tent lighting, and comfy lounge chairs allowed us to truly refresh, and you won't find more delicious and high-quality fresh food. Caroline has also transformed a charming stone outbuilding to a lovely bath house and self-serve kitchen. This place is perfect for nature-lovers and foodies who also want some luxury. We will definitely be back! U.S. travelers - THIS IS A GEM!

We had such a beautiful & relaxing stay at Legan Castle Farmhouse. Caroline was so kind and welcoming, a lovely friendly and warm atmosphere. The facilities for guests were incredible, exceeded our expectations and the extra touches such as Prosecco on arrival and marshmallows for roasting on the fire were so sweet. Beautiful scenery around the campsite. We will 100% be staying here again and we highly recommended to everyone!

Just back from an amazing stay at Legan Castle Farmhouse. Caroline is an amazing hostess who thinks of everything. She is also great fun to be around. The beautiful scenery and peace and quiet was absolute bliss. We loved everything about this place and can't wait to come back again !

We had an amazing stay and felt very well taken care of by Caroline. The tent is minimal but super cozy and looking out at the open field. We used to work in hotels and the beds are of same standard. The breakfast is tasty as well as the cakes that Caroline baked. The facilities provided are well thought after, clean and aesthetically pleasing. Stove, microwave, cutleries, bbq ware , etc is on point. The toilets are very clean and heaps of clean towels available to use anytime. We will definitely come back again and recommend anyone to stay here.

What a wonderful few days we have had glamping at Legan Castle Farmhouse. From the moment we arrived, the treatment we received from Caroline was everything above first class. We stayed in her lovely couple Safari Tent which was so peaceful and relaxing looking out into nature. Caroline has the place looking amazing everything is so clean and tidy and the food is just OUTSTANDING!! A special mention to the resident dog Arthur for some very entertaining moments. Amazing 2 night stay in safari tent. Ideal break for a couple, very chill and peaceful. Hospitality was second to none, very friendly hostess Caroline was really helpful! Kitchen, toilets and showers, all very modern and spotless clean. Will definitely be back!

My husband and I had the best time staying at Legan Castle Farmhouse. The Owner Caroline was just the sweetest person. The Food she offers is so delicious, fresh and definetely made with love. The place is beautiful. It is for sure a place to relax and enjoy nature, as well as to visit Lovely Thomastown or Kilkenny. We highly recommend this Glamping experience.

Absolutely Brilliant! We stayed here last week for a brief visit, and I have to say it was more than we expected! Caroline is a lovely host and was always around if we needed anything! We stayed in one of the bell tents and it was so luxurious (in my opinion, better than staying in a hotel room!) the bed was super comfy, with our own bbq, fire pit and seating area! We had a scrumptious breakfast which was delivered out to our tent! We will definitely be returning again, and of course the lovely Arthur was paws-itively adorable!

We stayed in Legan Castle in the luxury safari tent for two nights with our boys aged 7 and 9. From the moment we arrived Caroline made us feel so welcome. We loved the mornings when breakfast was delivered to our tent in a picnic basket and the evenings sitting around the campfire toasting marshmallows. The boys had great fun in the meadow - running around, watching the newborn foal and chatting to Arthur the dog. The tents are cosy, the surroundings beautiful and the food is all so delicious. Thanks for the gorgeous memories, we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Just spent an amazing weekend at Legan Castle in a fabulous luxury bell tent. The grounds, tents & facilities at Legan Castle are beautiful. We really switched off & had a wonderful time. The breakfast is also amazing! Caroline is such an excellent host and we already cannot wait to go back.

Such a fab spot to spend a couple of nights!! Our stay was perfect, Caroline is a lovely lovely host who has considered everything - from luxurious bedsheets to bbqs and marshmallows. The bell tent was amazing, better than any hotel room with some gorgeous finishing touches. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back!! (The meringue is a must)
