Very friendly reception by Mrs Yvonne and a good room service. Excellent shower and rich continental breakfast. We found the best location to stay and visit Kilkenny without a car! Congratulations!

Butler Court was AMAZING- the location is absolutely perfect!! Came to Kilkenny for a long weekend and Yvonne was the best- we were actually traveling during storm Eunice and had not realized our bus to was cancelled until Yvonne was kind enough to check-in the night before we left and let us know where to look. The room was so pretty and clean and we had a wonderful breakfast set out for us each morning. Cannot recommend staying here enough on a trip to Kilkenny.

Centrally located, comfy, affordable priced digs & fabulously warm Irish welcome. Stay at Butler Court Guest Accommodation if you’re in Kilkenny! We just checked out today, and could not have had a better experience. If new hotels are built in Kilkenny, avoid them - this is the real Irish deal with Yvonne & John as lovely hosts (& of course, Bo The Sweet Dog!). The rooms are very well appointed (including great light and magnifying mirror for putting on makeup), and we’ve never had a better continental breakfast (tea & coffee with all the trimmings, luscious Irish yogurt, fresh brown bread - best we’ve had yet - fresh fruit) - all in the fresh air of the lovely courtyard. But best of all was the hospitality the Irish are known for…this was a perfect blend of having privacy/own room with loo) and experiencing the warmth of the hosts as they welcomed us, and acclimated us to Kilkenny with loads of advice. I only wish we could stay longer.

We had a lovely 1 night stay and highly recommend! Yvonne takes great care in ensuring her guests feel welcome, comfortable and provided a map with the “must see” stops in Kilkenny. Location is superb and rooms were very clean and well equipped. Would have loved to stay longer!

We stayed for 2 nights and loved it all Yvonne was amazing and gave great recommendations for activities. The room and cold breakfast provided were perfect to get us going in the morning. Butler Court is in the perfect location in Kilkenny and we will definitely be returning for a longer stay in the future!!

What a brill central but quiet location to stay in Kilkenny. Yvonne was so lovely and welcoming. Rooms are modern, clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The breakfast that is left in the room is more than needed as well as nice and wholesome e.g. lovely soda bread! Room rates are very competitive too. Thank you so much for our stay 🙏

Located on Kilkennys Patrick Street Butler Court is easily accessible by foot and by all nearby transport. In its own little courtyard it is both bright and airy, yet perfectly protected from the insane over heating that occurs in the 3 days of Irish summer. The room itself was incredibly generous, spacious, clean and bright with provisions for hot beverages, fresh fruit, breakfast cereal and even bread and butter; en suite and with a super king bed, which was Incredibly comfortable and just the right level of firm . Each room is furnished with a fan, TV, desk etc. Along with helpful guides to local bars and eateries and of course WiFi. The added bonus of an in room fridge was a very welcome surprise, very helpful for the preservation of the breakfast milk. My personal favourite was the actual filter coffees in the room , silly as it may sound there is great value in good coffee particularly when you and your partner are food service people. Bo the dog is a legend, if not a little prone to livking the back of knees.

Yvonne and John are wonderful hosts! They go out of their way to provide great accommodations in the best location in town! Rooms are quite large and very comfortable. Special thanks to Yvonne for helping arrange a dental appointment for my wife. That was above and beyond and was quite kind of you!

I feel like I’m at home. Yvonne and John and of course Bob the dog are amazing. Yvonne makes you feel like royalty the moment you enter. The rooms (we had 2-there were 5 of us) are clean, cute and perfect after a day of travel. You can literally walk to all of Killkennys attractions in under 10 minutes from this location. Great location. So much fun. Such great hosts. Thank you Yvonne!!!

Loved the jolly good-natured host at Butler Court. Rooms are large and a good value for the price. Continental breakfast is more substantial than most. Bathroom is modern and well appointed. Rick Steves highly recommends this place and he’s spot on! It’s within walking distance of everything.

Tremendous hotel with a wonderful family feel. Our host was fantastic, friendly and very helpful and informative. We were greeted by a lovely dog named Bo who we loved petting and hanging out with. The rooms were very modern with new beds and a beautiful washroom and shower. Highly recommend this wonderful establishment.

Lovely two night stay here. Yvonne was so helpful and kind. Rooms were immaculate. Continental breakfast was perfect. Filtered Coffee was top quality. On the doorstep of the city but very quiet at night. Parking in multistory car park 3 minute walk away. Will certainly be back!

From the moment we set foot in Butler Court Yvonne & Johnny afforded us the 5 star treatment. Accommodation and location were excellent and nothing was a problem. The broad bread with Barry's tea was greatly appreciated before we headed home. Michael & Niamh

Great place, very central location, extremely nice and helpful owners with reasonable rates. Stayed with Yvonne and John two separate times on our trip. I believe there are 10 rooms total. John and Yvonne were gracious and helpful, to the point of walking across the street to a restaurant to make a reservation for us while we unpacked. When we are in Kilkenny again, I doubt we will even consider staying anywhere else. Hard to go wrong here!

We had a brief, but excellent stay at Butler Court. I wish we had spent more time in Kilkenny! Easy to get around town, you're in the heart of it all at this location, only a 3-5 minute walk to the castle. Very clean and quiet rooms, great continental breakfast in the room for us to have the next morning at our leisure. The brown bread was excellent :) Bo the dog was a wonderful greeter, Yvonne and John were very helpful suggesting places to go and see (lots of new requirements to keep in mind traveling during the pandemic). Thank you for a great stay - we look forward to staying there again soon!
