Although alot less busy than other hospitals there are stilll hugeeee wait times considering we were the only two in the waiting room for an hour or so honestly dont know what the staff were doing. Also the female doctor /nurse in the cardiology department has a serious attitude problem that should be dealt with also just left her office for 40mins and nobody knew where she was. Unprofessional

disgusting treatment of a 1 year old in a emergency situation. treated us like trash and refused to see us tha k god the medical centre came to the rescue and a emergency ambulance was called .shame on you bantry hospital un caring horrible horrible people my child was severely I'll and you turned him away a air ambulance was called and we had two ambulances rush us to cork hospital shame on you DIRT

Each time I have had to use this hospital I can't but give it the highest of praise. The level of competent care I receive is second to none. A huge thank you for your caring for me always.

Excellent service and so friendly and professional. Cared for my son yesterday who had fractured his arm. Triaged , x-rayed and seen by the Doctor within the hour. Super service and an asset to the communities of West Cork!

My partner was a patient here, having been taken ill on holiday. The staff were so kind and professional and kept me informed every step of the way.

I have NEVER, EVER been into any hospital that had nurses, carers & other employees that were as nice, caring, genuine & helpful. Nothing was too much for them. The level of care that my father received prior to his passing was amazing. He had nothing but good to say about all the staff that had any interactions with him during his last few weeks. The staff are a blessing to everyone of their patients!

My wife and I were as Belgian tourists with acute medical problems (resp. lung, heart) very well received and treated on the Medical Assesment Unit and other departments. Friendly and professional staffs of doctors, nurses and others. Good food. Human approach, accessibility... often different from the actual situation in some mastodont-factory-clinics in our country. Bantry hospital is the best hospital in ireland. The staff are lovely kind and thoughtful and you get the best care here. Bantry hospital should have more staff and made bigger for operations saving people driving miles to cork . They should have all the machines like cork have like mri machines and for poor people that have cancer that they can be treated here. And women having babies should be delivered here like they did year's ago. Its sicken that people have to travel to cork city for everything. I suffer with anixety and can't travel too far i get panic attacks and going to cork isnt an option for me so i just suffer away here in bantry. I have a knee that might need an mri but ill leave it because i don't like travelling. Its backwards we are going instead of forwards. Anyway bantry hospital is the best god bless them all for the great care they do for us all. 🙏❤

Very clean hospital, friendly and helpful staff from the front door all the way. Dr brian carey and his nurse were brilliant, I had a tilt table test with them and they made me feel at ease.

We are so lucky to have this friendly local hospital. Went with a bone break - staff could not have been nicer and out and finished (inc X-ray) within an hour (which would be a day in CUH). We are really grateful to have ye .... thanks Bantry Hospital!

My Mother was admitted after passing out in a local restaurant. The ambulance/ paramedic staff were amazing. When she was admitted to the ward, they excelled and my Mother enjoyed the attention and her stay. I wish I mention all the staff by name, because they made a stressful situation much bareable. Exceptional care given to me by every single staff member and nurse of this hospital that I dealt with. This is one of those rare occasions where 6 stars should be given. So much so... I wrote to the Hospitals general manger to compliment her on the quality of her staff. I was seen on time, parking was free, and the courtesy and respect given to me could not have been greater. Excellent hospital. Was admitted and seen to in a very timely fashion. Nurses and doctors incredibly professional and kind. They appeared to prioritise my care so that I could be discharged within a few hours to breast feed newborn.

I was admitted to the MAU in Bantry hospital in the early hours of Christmas day. Dr fabio and every member of staff were so professional and the speed and efficiency with which everything was done just blew me away. It is an exceptional facility and every department in the hospital worked as a team with such kind, caring staff everywhere. I really appreciated your dedication and kindness. We are truly blessed to have this hospital in West Cork.
